  1. I said I'd dig this guy out and post his a couple of months ago, then promptly forgot to do so. Better late than never. As I said in lazarp's thread, this is a sculpt I've always liked. In painting him up, I wanted the skin to basically resemble the color of a nasty bruise. Not sure why, just one of those weird ideas that hits you sometimes.
  2. My own sculpt of an eyeball beholderkin, next to a D&D prepainted drow. I imagine him saying in a creepy voice, "Mistress ... I detect intruders."   3. I sculpted a familiar for the Illithid, an Eyeball Beholderkin. Way back when there was no miniature for a tiny Beholder, so I made my own -- the Eyeball is the first figure I ever sculpted! It's held aloft by a black post attached to the base, which I removed from the picture.
