  1. Presenting Mikhail XVI, part of the Jedza gang from the game Malifaux by Wyrd Games. Struggled a bit with this one, I can find the details on Malifaux minis a bit hard to pick out sometimes, but I think I did a good job on his head and sword. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  2. I'm not entirely sure I like the blue of the belt sash. Should I make it a leather brown? Something else? My next step is the cloak, which is going to be a stormy blue/grey. Thoughts?
  3. This is Janna the Wanderer aka Janna the Barbarian from the Warlord line. When I picked her to paint I was sure she was an elf, but as I got to the hair I noticed, no elf ears! Her armor was a bit of a pain to paint, getting skin color down between all those straps and plates was a bit of a challenge. She is also painted with strawberry blonde hair, with the base color of the hair being pink.
  4. I painted this up a few days ago. I really like this sculpt! Very heroic. I wanted to get her tabletop ready, and my bedroom lighting did my cell phone photos no favors. I'm still trying to develop that level before I try anything I'd truly want to display. Or a dragon. I have one, but I'm intimidated by it. Anyway! Enjoy this heroic lady admiring her gigantor-sword.
  5. Hey all! Been a bit busy lately as the semester is back in full swing and I'm in the middle of packing to move. My paints aren't put away yet (of course) so to try and practice, I painted up Thund here a few days ago. I somehow missed the giant mold line across his head until I looked at the picture just now. Sigh. His cloak gave me problems too. I did actually wash it, but I don't know if I then left him standing up and the wash ran out of the crevices of his cloak or if I just reapplied too much paint when drybrushing or both but by the end I was just frustrated and sorta vindictively sealed him and called him done. He'll suffice for sitting on the tabletop at least. C&C welcome as always! And any tips on the cloak issue would be appreciated too.
