I painted these just a little while ago to match a client’s RPG party. They are all 3D prints from Heroforge, where you can choose from a wide array of options for characters. 3d printed minis present a bit of a challenge for painters, as the grain is often visible in a few spots. There are a variety of ways to overcome this, including sanding and gloss, but ultimately you just need to be very careful with your shading. For each of these, I got some pretty specific instructions on their color scheme. Here they are:
This is 77299 Female Antipaladin that I received from fanguad for the Spring Exchange. My "instructions" for my partner were to paint something that would fit either "Something wicked this way comes" or "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." Fanguad did great on both counts. She is definitely up to no good with her giant axe. He threw in a couple other sinister figures that are most certainly wicked! (89010: Damiel, Iconic Alchemist & 77123: Zalash, Dark Elf Assassin) She is beautifully highlighted and shaded and I am going to look at her when I next paint skin as hers is gorgeous! I love her face! We also happen to have the same color hair! Ha! Thank you, fanguad! I love her so much! My pictures do not do her justice. Fanguad, if you took better pictures, please add them on here!
25 I know this is very late... I was having camera and life issues. Better late than never I think. Anywho, Here's my resolutionary paint challenge mini. I was cleaning off the table and Inarah was telling me about this challenge. She said to make it as over the top as I possibly could. I had a box of minis labeled "Bodyguards in Bikinis" That seemed JUST THE TICKET! So, here's my version of America the Beautiful Next time she'll be riding an Attack eagle with frikin lasers on it's head for sure!
