  1. Kickstarter for a small batch of physical miniatures: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/69613072/dungeon-dwellers-0?ref=discovery&term=Dungeon Dweller
  2. So I've started to settle into the new place and I now have half of a room dedicated to hobbies. The other half is a guest bed/futon. There's plenty of light and space to spread out. So I decided to work on some pirates I picked up at my FLGS from Black Scorpion Miniatures. One Diamond Joe and a pack of pirate girls (pack #3 to be exact). These are resin figures and I chose some secret weapon bases that I thought would go well with them. I'm starting with Diamond Joe an am painting parts in between waiting for my exchange mini's to dry. I'm thinking he will have a red or dark blue greatcoat. haven't decided quite yet. Anyway, I have a couple of pics of him cleaned and primed as well as his base. This is the first time I have painted a figure and base separately so I'll see how this goes. I'm also thinking of trying some of my Daler Rowney inks on these guys. I didn't take any pics of the pirate girls yet, I'll have them prepped in my next post. Diamond Joe... His base. His location is already drilled out for the pin in his foot...
