  1. Hey everyone, here's the second of my mischievous goblinoid. This one is the 77445, Goblin skirmisher with sword and shield sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  2. Hey everyone, here's 02221, Morrdha the Vampire Wizard and his imp familiar. This Dark Heaven Legends model was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
  3. Hey everyone, here comes another set of Mousling. This on is 01512, Mousling Zombie. It was part of Reaper Artist Con 2010 Special Edition Figures sculpted by Gene Van Horne.
  4. Good day everyone, here are pictures of 77105, Kagunk "Voorhees" the Ogre Chieftain sculpted by Tre Manor. This is the Bones version of the model. I added the axe blade on its spiked club, mounted it on a 2 inches square base and painted it with Reaper MSP paint.
  5. Hi everyone, here's another 77236, Bloodmane Gnoll Warrior. The original version this time. This model was sculpted by Tre Manor. 77236, Bloodmane the Gnoll Warrior and his friend 77234 Boneflail the Gnoll Cleric.
  6. In pursuit of my goal, here is another Gnoll that I finished painting last night. This 77234, Boneflail female Gnoll Cleric was sculpted by Tre Manor. In spite of their devotion to Yeenoghu, few Gnolls have any interest in ritual and there is few clerics or shamans to be found among the savage packs. Gnolls would sometimes summon demons to fight alongside them.
  7. Hi everyone, here's another Gnoll I painted. 77388, Gnoll Warrior sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  8. I believe I have posted one of these before, but I have re-based her, to match the 32mm of the others.:
  9. I'm a noob (about 5-6 weeks of painting) but am happy with this guy and his rusty armor! Would love some C & C from anyone though!
  10. After working on her for more than a year, I finally finished the Countess. WIP here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/65336-solarwind-countess-karnstein-bust-by-xherman1964/?hl=karnstein Many pics. So I will put them in a few posts: I learned a lot along the way. **** LADIES and GENTLEMEN and CREATURES visiting this Forum!!!*** **** I present SHE WHO RULES THE NIGHT!!!, THE MOST MURDEROUS ONE!!!!, THE LADY OF DARKNESS!!!!*** **** COUNTESS KARNSTEIN!!!**** *** That will do Furball!!!*** *** BEHOLD MY BEAUTY!!!!*** *** NOW BOW TO ME!!!***
  11. Hey guys been away for a while with a severe illness however am slowly getting back on the horse through much pestering by a dear friend! I have painted a Black reach Ork warboss in Evil sunz colours and added small details to his surroundings. Using milliput I made vines with venus fly trap heads! also added a couple of skaven mini rats to the base! I hope you like my submission and as always comments are welcomed and gladly received!
  12. These are my players for Chaos, in Blood Bowl. The Minotaur/Ogre and daemonettes, are from GW, and the Warriors are a mix of parts from GW, and Avatars of War.
  13. I painted up Drac on Halloween because why wouldn't I? I actually started painting him last Halloween and shelved him for a year.
  14. They are just hungry...... For your flesh! Quick paint job and off to the table they go. On the minis I got the details of the sculpt were... mushy. So I didn't want to spend a lot of time carefully paining minis that I would never be happy with. But they are still ready to nom on any PC they encounter. 😈
  15. Made a coven throne from the start collecting set. Now it just needs basing.: WIP pics:
  16. Tried to make it look like she just drank someone's blood and us now performing a ritual which is causing the ground to shift.
  17. Last Blood Rage Giant. I love the savageness of these giants. He reminds me of Mumm-Ra a little.
  18. A client of mine wanted the monster bases from his Kingdom Death set to more closely match the awesome setting in the plane of faces. He also requested places that he could make into lava or little streams of blood (especially blood flowing out of a mouth that the Butcher is standing on). Here are the greens for these bases. He'll be painting all of these himself, so my work here is done.
  19. Finished these gross guys for my pathfinder campaign. I like the GW blood for the blood god technical paint look for weeping sores.
  20. Back with my second mini! This guy is the dwarf berserker lord / slayer from the Avatars of War line. It was only after I'd primed him that I realized what poor quality the casting seemed compared to my previous mini, I filled in where I could with GS, but unfortunately nearly half of his face was missing... But rather than try and sculpt him a new left eye and cheek, I took the lazy way out and made it a feature. I tried a lot of new things on this mini, blood, snow, aged bronze/brass, and was my first time painting so much skin and hair. I'm not totally happy with how he came out, overall he seems too brown, and the wash I applied to his skin made the recesses between the muscles a bit too blocky, but maybe I'm just picking faults after spending too many of my evenings for the past week with him. Good enough for the table at least. Funnily my favorite part of the whole model now he's done is how the ork's head he's standing on came out. As always advice is welcomed, as I'm still new at this.
  21. I have a bag of Secret Weapon skulls. I have tamiya clear red. All minis worked on for the spring/summer will have blood and skulls. Because I do what I want. Both from Bones I. Primed in green liner. I don't know if they will be green, but that is the color liner I used. Once again I will be attempting to use the Wappel method on both minis.
  22. A friend of mine is paying me to paint this rather large baby alien figure. I've got the base coat, skin tone, and shading done on this guy. I'm wondering how to get a realistic looking blood coat on him. He needs to look as if he has just been "born". I've done the skin and shading in acrylic and will use a glossy sealer after everything else it finished. The pictures are pretty poor quality, but it's the best the Iphone 4 could manage.
  23. Well, here's the big Dracolich from Reaper. His base is a CD- I sculpted some rocks to match the rocks that the mini was already standing on. I'm really quite fond of this mini- dragons and zombies go together quite well,a nd his rotting flesh was a real joy to paint. You might not be able to tell from the photos, but the red areas are glossy, making him seem more fresh. Also, I posted him to CMON for anyone who cares to vote.
  24. This was by far my favorite of all the bones minis to paint thus far, and my first time experimenting with making my own washes. I used GM Mechrite Red thinned down to get the sort of crusty, infected skin effect over top of all the stitches, and I think it turned out ooookay!
