  1. Hey there! I completed another model for my diorama. Here's the 04022, Goose Lady sculpted by Bob Ridolfi for Reaper Miniatures. Have a great weekend!
  2. Hello everyone! Here's Tolgh the bellicose, Tolgh the vainglorious, Tolgh the lesser demon, for he has many names. This model was sculpted by Jim Johnson. It was part of The Court of Abyst boxed set, sku: 10005, now out of production. It is 41 mm tall, the base is 25 mm. The wings come from a 02040, gargoyle sculpted by Bob Ridolfi, also made by Reaper. I also added flames to his scimitar and base to create a warm environment just for him.
  3. Hey everyone, I'm still painting decorative elements for future D&D sessions. Here is a 77722, Sealed Sarcophagus sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. Pretty sure something ancient or someone evil is trapped in this sarcophagus. Sometimes certain things should not be disturbed.
  4. Good sunday everyone, I've made a little more progress on the graveyard I'm currently working on. Here are some terrain pieces I completed last night. These 77534, Tombstones were sculpted by Kevin Williams. The fence and posts are from the 77529, Harrowgate Graveyard Set sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. One of the tombstones is not present on the pictures, I used it on the base of my 77116, Colossal Skeleton. Have a great day!
  5. Good Friday everyone, It's been a while since I posted something here. Well, it's been two months. I've been working on a large project and it's finally time to share with you some progress I've made. Here are pictures of my Harrowgate graveyard. Each part of this set was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. I only added 3d printed gothic style spiers, designed by gothic.things, on both sides of the gate. Also, the characters, monsters, statues and sarcophagus displayed on one of the pictures are all from Reaper Miniatures. Here are the sku: 77529 Harrowgate graveyard set, 77527 fence gate, 77530 short fences, 77531 fence posts, 77532 long fence and 77731 gargoyle finials. There are also other finials available. Here's the list of the colors I used on the stones; Army Painter Skeleton Bone basecoat, Reaper MSP 9029 Earth brown stains, Reaper MSP 9110 Oiled Leather stains, Citadel Agrax Earthshade shading, Army Painter Skeleton Bone dry brushing, Reaper MSP HD 29838 Stained olive stains, Reaper MSP HD 29848 Jungle camo stains.
  6. Hey everyone, here's a 77530, Harrowgate graveyard short fence sculpter by Bob Ridolfi. I used this fence to test the colors that I'll use on my gothic church. Here is the list of colors I used;
  7. Hey everyone, here's 02221, Morrdha the Vampire Wizard and his imp familiar. This Dark Heaven Legends model was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
  8. Esme. I just can't lie. I love chibis and I don't know why.
  9. Some more ghouly chill down your spine, this is the stuff of nightmare. These are 77720, Ghouls and Ghast sculpted by Julie Guthrie and Bob Ridolfi.
  10. Hello everyone, here are some ensemble pictures of my entry in the "Dia de los Muertos" Sugar Skull Painting Contest. I had simply posted a closeup photo of the skull for the contest. This is the Bones version of 77116, Colossal Skeleton sculpted by Jason Wiebe. This Undead is Huge, 120mm tall, almost 5 inches. Notice I repositioned its arms and removed the shrouds that were hanging between its legs. The other elements on the base are from Reaper Miniatures as well. There are 77528, Graveyard Ruined Fences by Bob Ridolfi, a 77531, Graveyard Fence Post and 77731, Gargoyle Finials also by Bob Ridolfi, a 77538, Gravestone of Sorrow sculpted by Julie Guthrie and one of the 77534, Tombstones sculpted by Kevin Williams. I used roots, birch tree seed hulls and various synthetic mosses to complete the scene. The base is 75mm (3 inches) wide and was 3d printed. Enjoy!
  11. Hello everyone, here are some pictures of a 02126, Arachno-Assassin sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. I had this damaged mini for a long time and I decided to replace its upper left hand falchion for a sword from the 02455, Weapons pack IV. It was a very fun and easy model to paint. I intend to use it as a "boss" in a major encounter, so I painted it in red to increase the focus on it and point out how dangerous it is. The bluish bladed sword will be magical, maybe even cursed.
  12. Hello everyone! Halloween is getting close... now's a good time to start chewing garlic. Here's my 77137, Sarcophagus sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
  13. Hey everyone, here's another sarcophagus I painted for an upcoming D&D session. This one is the 77632, Sarcophagus sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
  14. This one has been on the desk for awhile to receive paint as there was extra on the palette. I decided to finish him off last night. Added highlights to the cloak and skulls. Shaded everything, but the cloak with Army Painter Dark Tone. I didn’t add any highlights or shading beyond the basics as it isn’t a great cast. But, I think it turned out great for the toy box.
  15. Another one bites the dust….😆 One of my favorite sculpt…but in the old Bones plastic. I put a little extra into the base, otherwise it was a pretty straight forward zen of Bones quick paint job. Overall I like the scheme and it has given me ideas for when I paint my metal version. Not sure about the green face and the blue glow under the rib cage is too subtle. And as an aside …..the quality of Testors Dullcoat is not nearly as good as it was a decade ago. The newer formulation continues to give me a semi gloss finish. Oh well.
  16. Hello everyone, some more Underworld dwellers. Here are my 44045, Shrieking Fungi sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
  17. Hello everyone. Here it is, I completed my chimeric aberration. At the heart of the barren wasteland, during a cursed journey to redemption, the champion met a limping chimeric aberration. It has the main features of a giant hound, a vulture head stretches out of its right side and a hulking insect head sits on the left side. Every part I used are from Reaper Miniatures. The main body is a 02817 Moor Hound sculpted by Ben Siens. The two extra heads are from 03069, Hooked Hulk sculpted by Michael Brower which are included in 03440 creature components pack 2. The spiked tail is from a 14456 Mastema sculpted by Julie Guthrie, included in 03334 Creature Components. The wings are from a 03641 Gunslinger model sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. I finally swapped its left side paws for claw and a palmed foot at the back. These parts are part of the 03440 creature components pack 2. The colors are all Reaper MSP paint. I was inspired by the Cù-Sìth from the Scottish folklore for the main body. The additional heads have traditional vulture and praying mantis colors. Due to the large size of the monster, I built a 50mm wide base. I plan to create the stats for this monster and build a surprise encounter for my fellow D&D player. Let me know what you think about it. Here is the link to the WIP. More pics under the spoiler.
  18. Hi everyone, I completed this one last night. 02181, Sirithis the Succubus sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This is a Dark Heaven Legends model. I painted her with Reaper MSP paint and mounted her on a 40 mm round base sku: 74033. Censored for the younger audience. Uncensored version of the pictures can be found on my blog or FB page.
  19. So some times you just done get things finished with the deadline you have imposed on yourself and this elf was one of those self-imposed deadlines. I wanted to have her done by Christmas, but just got too busy with other miniatures and other things. I got this figure if I recall last Christmas when I won her with some others on a Reaper Christmas Giveaway on Twitch. Here she is: Always thought she was a cute little figure. The other ones I want but they haven't sold them for a few Christmasses now are the two elves, naughty and nice. But one of these days I'm sure they will pop up again. Anyhoos, enjoy, happy belated Christmas and New Year!
  20. From the first Bones kickstarter: I am diving into some more of the white-undercoated Bones 1 models that are cluttering up my Drawers of Doom, models that for some reason or other have been stuck in limbo never to get to painted-heaven. These Bones are mainly painted with Contrast Paints for speed. This is 77119 Sinessa, Hellborn Sorceress. It was part of the "Bedevilled" subset of the Bones 1 Core set. Sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. 25mm base. The Skin is Flesh Tearers Red Contrast with a careful drybrush of thinned Citadel Wazdakka Red Layer on. The Gold is Vallejo Necro Gold and old Chestnut Ink.
  21. Hello everyone, I completed another mummy last night. 14280, Chosen of Sokar the Nefsokar Sergeant sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. Another amazing model, full of nice ornaments and sporting a crocodile head. Once again, I used the nnm technique and opted for purple clothes to distinguish it from the other mummies I recently painted.
  22. Hello everyone, here are pictures of the third model I entered in the Pathfinder painting contest. This is the metal version of 60009 Seoni the Sorceress sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. The challenging part on this one was painting the tattoos and the other freehand on her clothes.
  23. Hello everyone, I had a busy week and managed to complete this model last night. Here are pictures of 14026, Nakhti the Nefsokar Captain. This Warlord model was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi, I painted it with Reaper MSP paint. I love the detail on this mummy.
  24. Hello everyone, here are pictures of the third and last of the 06143, Tomb Guards sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This is the metal version from the Nefsokar Warlord Army Packs. I kept my favorite of the three for last.
