Hi All, Finished both of these awhile ago, but finally had time to take pictures now that I'm on "vacation" during quarantine. My first conversion is for my Fallen Aasimar's necrotic shroud. I used Terezinya, Bonepander Wizard (77173) and the wings from the Bone Devil (77325). This was also my first time painting the Bones line. All my previous minis were metal and I have to say I learned my lesson. While the plastic made the conversion much easier, I just don't like the way my acrylic paints sit on it compared to the metal. Also the lower detail is disappointing. But what do I expect for a fraction of the price though, amirite? (I shared my original aasimar mini in a previous thread.) I also completed my first green stuff sculpt from scratch. This is my aasimar's spiritual weapon: a scythe crowned with a raven skull. The magic effects are made with hot glue, which I learned from The Crafting Muse and EonsOfBattle. I thought it was a super cool trick, and I even managed not to burn myself. I'm really happy with it overall for a first attempt. Feedback is welcome! Thanks

These were sold as clawed devils but I did them up as bone devils. Thanks for looking.

Did a really quick Bone Devil up for one of our RPGs (kept calling it Demon acidentally!) He's still a bit shiny in this pic due to the matte varnish drying. I decided to do his wings/eyes and a bit on his stinger tail green to make it a little different. Now of course I'm thinking I need a couple more of these maybe with red, purple and blue wings! hah Also, I'm absolutely in love with Reaper's brown liner. I need to order all of them now, especially for Bones! love it

As mentioned in the "How did you come across Reaper Miniatures" topic, I just started painting two months ago. Don't feel like you have to go easy on critiques though. First prime, First paint, First wash Goldar (03461), painted grey to be a Goliath. First Boil and Chill (To remove lean), First eyes Dain Deepaxe (77074) First "OMG This is taking too long", First Dry Brush Bone Devil (77325) First Sculpt (cut off wings and used green stuff) Mummy Lich (77147) First highlights, first wet blend, first missing piece! Fire Demon (77315) Shameless copy of Fire Demon painted by mirrordissilution His right hand should be showing up in the mail any day now. Reaper customer support is amazing. There you have it! I left out the bulk paintings of skeletons and oxidation beasts (HAH!) that were hastily done for the campaign I'm running.

This was a really fun miniature to paint. In addition to getting a lot of practice dry brushing, I got to try out making gore from UHU glue & TCR. Really great effect, but very difficult to apply in thin layers.
