  1. The snake people from the Bones 4 core set "Nagendra" subset. Nagendra would presumably be Reapers name for the Yuan-Ti snakemen of D&D fame that these would be similar to. Since I saw them I had this inspiration to do the snakes as the types that the Kill Bill Deadly Viper Assassination Squad use as code names. Presenting from The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad: #86: Snake Charmer aka Bill I went with a more typical fantasy colour scheme on this one as the code name is not a snake species. I imagine that snakes, being cold blooded (techni

Presenting from The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad: #88: Cottonmouth aka O-Ren Yakuza overlord with alot of bodyguard mooks around. It is too bad none of the Nagendra have open mouths as the most distinctive feature of the Cot

Presenting from The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad: #91: Copperhead aka Vernita She tried to settle down as a soccer mom, but her past caught up with her. Would rather have been a Black Mamba. These are speedpaints, and theref

Since I saw them I had this inspiration to do the snakes as the types that the Kill Bill Deadly Viper Assassination Squad use as code names. Presenting from The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad: #89: California Mountain Snake aka Elle One eyed and hateful. Likes impersonating nurses to get at the patients. Enjoys poisoning fish heads before feeding them to the elderly.

Since I saw them I had this inspiration to do the snakes as the types that the Kill Bill Deadly Viper Assassination Squad use as code names. Presenting from The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad: #90: Sidewinder aka Budd He works part time as a bouncer in a titty bar and likes burying his enemies alive. These are speedpaints, and therefore all a bit rough. All done in

Since I saw them I had this inspiration to do the snakes as the types that the Kill Bill Deadly Viper Assassination Squad use as code names. Presenting from The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad: #87: Black Mamba aka the Bride aka Beatrix The champion with better armour and more weapons naturally gets the place of the deadliest assassin in the squad. After all, she did slice up
  7. #144: AKA Shardra, Iconic Shaman, sculpted by Bobby Jackson. This one has some glaringly obvious print lines (or whatever those are) up the right side of her cape. I mean: And I even tried to hide them by using a dark colour on the cape and avoiding to highlight the area as much as I could. Still. Strike one for quality control there. Size does matter. Well. Scale does matter. At any rate, I will be doing something else than painting characters for a while as it has been a bit of an uninspired slog as of late.
  8. #46: Saruman the White Grima...have you seen my cape lately? It has a little picture of a skull on it....Grima... Are we the baddies? Pallando, Radagast, Saruman, Gandalf, Alatar. The five Istari, or Maiar spirits, that were sent to Middle Earth in human form to counter the works of Sauron. #46 Bones 4 Core set, 2019, the Wizards subset Reaper Miniatures Sculpted by Bobby Jackson Made in Bonesium PVC 30mm bases should be available from reapermini.com some time in the future in Bones.
  9. #100: I based the colour schemes on classic Robin Hood. But I made them darker. As these guys are bandits, not social workers. Take from the rich (or whomever is travelling through the forest) and give to themselves. One of the three bandits from the Bones 4 core set. These are actually in a similar style as (albeit these are slightly more robin hoodesqe than) the four bandits in the Bones 3 Stoneskull expansion. There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to
  10. #11: Gandalf the Grey You will notice that Gandalf is originally both ginger and a heavy drinker. Pallando, Radagast, Saruman, Gandalf, Alatar. The five Istari, or Maiar spirits, that were sent to Middle Earth in human form to counter the works of Sauron. #11 Bones 4 Core set, 2019, #11 plus the Wizards subset Reaper Miniatures Sculpted by Bobby Jackson (?) Made in Bonesium PVC 30mm bases should be available from reapermini.com some time in the future in Bones.

  12. #45: Pallando the Blue This could have been movie Gandalf. Pallando, Radagast, Saruman, Gandalf, Alatar. 14. #102: One of the three bandits from the Bones 4 core set. These are actually in a similar style as (albeit these are slightly more robin hoodesqe than) the four bandits in the Bones 3 Stoneskull expansion. There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening... 16. #143: "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy. He hath borne me on his back a thousand times, and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it. Here hung those lips that I have kissed I know not how oft. —Where be your gibes now? Your gambols? Your songs? Your flashes of merriment that were wont to set the table on a roar? Not one now to mock your own grinning? Quite chapfallen? Now get you to my lady’s chamber and tell her, let her paint an inch thick, to this favor she must come. Make her laugh at that.—Pri
  17. #141: Skallabjorn the grim AKA Hakon, Iconic skald, sculpted by Bobby Jackson. Size does matter. Well. Scale does matter. 18. #111: Dr Strange the flim-flam man AKA Erasmus Iconic Medium, sculpted by Bobby Jackson slightly out of fokus due to his hypnotic gestures Size does matter. Well. Scale does matter. 19. The two minis from the bones IV core set just look like they want to battle, so I made them ;) Griffin, Wyvern ... Bones IV core set Hiding Halfling ... TTCombat Hill ... XPS
  20. I must admit that from all the Bones 4 core set minis, the Chibis were the ones voted "most likely to stay in their bags" when the KS shipment arrived, as superderformed/ chibi models like these are not really my cup of tea. They are way out of my comfort zone to paint, with all that skin, hair and large surfaces needing somewhat smooth transitions that I am not really any good at. But they have grown on me somewhat, especially since I decided to do them even more cartoony in style than I usually do. Themselves being very cartoony and all. They do look much smoother IRL when not magnified
  21. #142: Senua AKA Adowyn, Iconic hunter, sculpted by Bobby Jackson. Why is not her companion wolf in bones as well? Size does matter. Well. Scale does matter. At any rate, I will be doing something else than painting characters for a while as it has been a bit of an uninspired slog as of late. Pathfinder Iconics Bones 4 Core set, 2019 Reaper Miniatures Sculpted by Bobby Jackson Made in Bonesium PVC 30mm bases should be available from reapermini.com some time in the future in Bones, are currently available in Me
  22. I am churning out the Bones 4 core set PC-types just to get them out of the way before I can get stuck in with the more interesting monsters and creatures. Apologies in advance for my lack of photographic skill. I thought I had found a good setting, but clearly not for all. #93: The dwarf version of Xena: Warrior Princess. AiAiAiAiAi!
  23. I am trying get the -in my opinion- less enjoyable player character-type minis out of the way, which will let me do the more fun monster minis when finishing up the core set, hopefully letting me keep up the motivation to actually get the entire set done as I have wowed to do. #150 This Elf Barbarian reminds me of Final Fantasy for some reason...might be the subtle and understated sword-thing. 25mm base.
  24. I am churning out the Bones 4 core set PC-types just to get them out of the way before I can get stuck in with the more interesting monsters and creatures. Now with sharper images! #110 Pathfinder Iconic Nan 25mm base
  25. #119: Monique or to give her full name Monique DeNoir. I don't think she has been made in Bones. There is a 54mm scaled one in metal that has approximately the same pose. I believe she is supposed to be a vampire. I painted her as a drow. ...and all in gloriously sharp pictures! Yay! #117 Almaran #119 Monique from the Small World Heroes subset in the Bones 4 Core set, 2019 Reaper Miniatures Sculpted by Gene Van Horne (?) Made in Bonesium PVC 25mm integral, sculpted base should be available from reapermini.com
