So, the bonus challenge for the February resolutionary paint challenge was to make a miniature that 'embodied Valentine's day'. And I was reminded of the someecard that said, "Life is short, so tell people you love them. But yell it at them in German because life is also terrifying." So I went digging through my minis, looking for something with wings, and came up with either the griffon or the owlbear. When I asked the hubs, we decided on the griffon because it's funny, and because my brother's name is Griffin, so painting something pink with hearts and calling it him is funnier. (Sorry bro.) I also decided if I was going to go for it, I was going to go as ridiculous as possible.... So here he is, in all his pink, heart glory. As you can see, I made him a cute little quiver and an arrow with the hubs and my initials (awwww). And I painted his pupils as hearts (not sure if you can tell)... I would like to take this time to apologize to any sculptor I ever said anything bad about, because playing with greenstuff is not nearly as fun as I thought it should be. The bow and arrow are the completely wrong scale.. I wasn't optimistic enough to sculpt one, so I had to cut some poor Medusa's arm off. Enjoy!! C&C always welcome!

Thanks to another topic about Sophie, I was poking around on Miniature giant and found Harapan, the elephant warrior disaster relief mini. Who doesn't seem to be sold online anymore, at all. I really like elephants. Really, really, really like elephants. And I would be ever so very happy and pleased and grateful and joyous if you'd make this fine fellow available for the 12 days of reaper.
