So I've been stressing a lot over Life Things (but probably good things). Before going back to my super detail heavy awesome figure, I'm doing a figure for my D&D campaign. I'm using this one as one of the princesses who happens to be a wandering bard. I filed her ears down to be human instead of elf. I think I put a bit more highlighting on the face and chest after these pics, and I put on a hideously bright green for her main clothing bits.

Not much to show off, but I have some completed scenery bits to use as treasure tokens in Frostgrave. A chest surrounded by treasure: And some sacks! Are they filled with gold? Potions? Magic scrolls? Brewer's yeast? Delicious potatoes? Only one way to find out!

So here's the WIP for my summer exchange mini, 03482 Lauren Silver sail, elf pirate. She was primed white, and then washed with Army Painter "Dark" tone to bring out the shadows; this was done as a blacklining step, as well as bringing the white primer down a step. The skin was done with the Rosy Skin triad; shown here is, I believe, Rosy Shadow. This is where my picture taking started breaking down; I painted a lot at Paint Night with friends. Her hair is Auburn Shadow; her skirt is blood red; we're on the mid tone of Rosy Skin, and her eyes are Sapphire Blue... I think. I was ambivalent on the red hair & blue eyes combination, since I'm used to red hair and green eyes together, but my brother pulled up some pictures of Molly Queen (Alexis from Castle) and my troubles were soothed.
