  1. For my Broken Gods D&D game, I've painted up all the figures for my group and am now getting around to painting up their mounts and animal companions. First off we have Bagheera, the Panther based off artwork in the spoiler. Bagheera is the animal companion of the party's monk/ranger and normally it is a standard medium-sized panther that he can use to fight along side him, but the panther can grow into this large mount when needed. Next is the Golden Lion, the mount of the party's bard, based on the artwork below: Next is the Nightmare for the party's warlock, based on the artwork below: I painted up the standard medium sized panther to use when it is needed. The monk/ranger also gained a (perhaps) temporary follower in "Jim the Brown Bear" which I also decided to paint up for this adventure and future adventures as a companion or just standard bear. All of these are painted up tabletop to tabletop+ standards. I didn't want to put too much work into them as they are just meant to be on the tabletop and not to be put into any contests. Larger panther and the lion are the lioness and lion from Bones 3. The smaller panther and the brown bear are bones animal companions. The Nightmare is from one of Tre's kickstarters. It has a barbarian that goes on the saddles, which of course I omitted here and I'll either toss the barbarian in the BOGW or put him in the melt bin at ReaperCon now that he's not really needed and I covered the hole in the saddle where he would normally attach. There's one missing mount, a silver and black fox that I may also paint up for the 4th member of the group. She paints minis too, so I'm thinking I'll give her a wolf figure that looks very foxlike to have her do it herself especially since I have so many other projects I need to finish up on this month. Anyhow, C&C are welcomed and appreciated! EDIT!! Adding more pics of the figures in more close-up shots for each one.
  2. Good afternoon again! Just finished Bale, the party's Eldrich Knight and god of Thunder/Battle for my current D&D campaign entitled "Broken Gods" Another one that's painted up to TT+ standard for me and took about 3-4 hours to do. Thanks for looking, C&C are welcomed and appreciated!
  3. Good afternoon everyone! I've finished this tabletop + figure for one of my Players in my Broken Gods D&D game, this is Cairan the Warlock (pronounced as Keer-awn). He's the god of Death and War (tactics), think Valkyrie or the goddess "Morrigan" from Celtic lore. Anyhow, it took probably 4-ish hours do do this figure to the TT+ standard and I added an eagle or hawk familiar from one of the bones familiar packs to his shoulder painted up as a large crow as the character has a large crow as a familiar. Sorry for blurry pics, my phone is not cooperating with me today! Anyhow, C&C are welcomed and appreciated, thanks for looking!
  4. Just finished up with "Cadence", the figure is a modification of Dark Sword Miniatures Female Rogue (DSM-7437) where I cut off the dagger in the off-hand and added the lute from Reaper's Adventuring Accessories (02638) to make her into the party bard. WIP Pics here - Anyhow enough chatter, here she is at my Tabletop+ standard: Inspiration pic here - Thanks for looking! C&C are welcomed and appreciated.
  5. It's been a while since I posted anything I'm working on, quite frankly I've not been working on anything the last couple of months, I ran outta steam on a couple of projects I was doing about 3/4 of the way through on them and will finish them (eventually). Anyhow, I'm working on 3 tabletop plus figures for 3 of my D&D group friends who are playing in my current campaign entitled "Broken Gods." All the characters were gods 5,000 years ago. Then the event happened, the peoples of the world stopped believing in them. They were cast down to the earth and have just now awoken... The PC's are all Demigods with extraordinary powers, but they have no memories of their former selves yet, they gain those as they progress and level up. The three PC's I'm currently working on are the party warlock, party eldritch knight and party bard. I have included inspiration pics of their characters they provided to me. Bale the Eldritch Knight, god of thunder and battle - the figure is from the Minx kickstarter, I modified him by cutting off and filing off spikes that were protruding from his back and bare arm, I noticed he has 4 fingers, but this is so close of a figure to the pic that I ran with it. Next is the party Warlock, Cairan (pronounced keer-awn). He's the god of death and war tactics, think Valkyrie. The figure is reaper 03505 (Karahl Farstep). He has an affinity with ravens so I took an eagle or hawk from one of the reaper bones familiar packs, mounted it on his shoulder and am painting it up as a raven. Finally we have Cadence, the goddess of Sunlight and Music - she's the party bard. I took DSM-7437 (Female Rogue Dual Wield by Jeff Grace) and modified it, cutting off the dagger in her offhand, used a reaper accessories lute I had and attached to her side/hip under her arm. If you've followed my WIPs before you know my method of priming is to prime everything in black first and then go back over it dry-brushing with white primer to pick out details and highlights. If you have questions, please ask and I'll continue to work on these for the next week or so. I don't want to put more than like 5-6 hours total in each figure, just enough to have a nice tabletop plus paint-job and to make them represent their characters in the game. Thanks for following along and please enjoy the ride!
