Separating a bee from its honey is always a risky prospect, but especially when they are giant, man-eating Titan Bees. However, when smeared with a concoction made with the pulped remains of it's larva, a person is temporarily rendered virtually invisible to the Bees. And so the Bug Thief started a thriving business stealing bee babies to make into potions, but how did she survive going into the hive in the first place? That's a mystery to be solved another day. Had a lot of fun painting this one, her bee striped fur thingy didn't come out like I hoped (and she's stuck with rather wonky eyes) but I think she ended up looking fairly decent overall. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Was looking for less involved miniatures to paint and to make a dent in my unpainted Bones. Decided to paint these little beetle swarms. Thanks for reading!

Completed my two spider swarms from Bones I. Colors were all just how I felt. After, not sure if I should've done something more simple with drybrushing and it would have turned out better? Anyways, just glad to have stuff painted.

Just an FYI/ checking if anyone else is having issues. I get forum notifications, but when I click to check, nothing loads. I can't check which posts are affected. It's only been for the last 2 hours or so (because I haven't posted much lately). using firefox 26.0

So what are your ways of keeping the painting spark alive and the creative juices flowing. I recently had about a 2 month dry spell where I literally painted nothing. Even my wife asked if I was OK as I had been painting every night for months up until that point. I'm not really sure why the 'spark' died out in my case but I do know what rekindled it at least - a move into my new hobby/reading/mancave! Having my own space in the house to do painting, listen to music or whatever has helped tremendously. Technically I share the space with my wife's knitting and book collection but she tends to like to knit/crochet while watching movies or anime so really the space is pretty much all mine! So has anyone else had a dry spell like that? How long did it last? What caused it? How did you get out of it?
