This is the plastic bulldog model from Bones 4 Chronoscope with a head swap from the sheriff in that set. Really simple paint job largely based on contrast paint. Fluorescent yellow features are done using vallejo mecha colour paint. The idea is to use this chap in Stargrave and other skirmish games. The intention was for him to be unarmed, ie in a walker that had been used for defence or mischief and didn't have ant armaments.

I haven't painted a scifi mini for about 20 years, with the exception of the Zombicide Invaders game. I really liked the look of the Bulldog and Corsair power armour from Chronoscope, and because I can't help myself did both of them as female conversions. I did an ultra simple scheme for the armour (Vallejo "Earth Green - early") and then a GW camo shade wash. The heads are from Statuesque miniatures. The Bulldog pilot has Scale 75 African shadow as a base coat, highlighted up with Scale 75 Iroko (yellow/cream) and a final highlight of just Iroko. The textured base for the Bulldog is wall paper. There is going to be a Scifi version of Frostgrave in the new year and am probably angling for that.

Hi all, I continued to paint random minis out of my large pile of unpainted, and here are Hordin and Gnasher. This was a bonus mini from the Dungeon Saga KS from Mantic. They were cast in "coloured plastic" (read by that, board-game quality plastic) but the details on them were surprisingly crisp. The only tricky part was that they were "ready to play" and already mounted on their base together, making some spots harder to reach. Anyways, a fun little couple to paint. And they may be used for some other games than Dungeon Saga (you always need a dwarf innkeeper in various settings).

How many parts are there to this model? Is the head/hatch separate? I ask because I'd like to see these next to my CAV models. Cheers.

The Atlantic Coast Charity Cup is coming up, and I got the chance to paint the official scheme for their tournament mini. Well, here he is.
