Last week my wife and I started a Ghost Archipelago campaign; for anyone interested I already wrote up a battle report here. Unfortunately that game showed me just how small my fantasy terrain collection really is. The prospect of playing a campaign on a half filled table didn't sit well, so I got to work. A few hours over a couple of nights yielded good results. A couple of winter pieces for regular Frostgrave even made it into the mix. Unfortunately I'm out of snow at the moment so they're not quite done.
Hiho, to add some variety to the gaming table and depict some smaller shrubs I wrote a tutorial detailing how to go about making shrubs and brushes for both 15mm and 28mm. I went for hazel bushes this time as they have a distinct bark and also allow to decorate the bases with some hazelnuts and squirrels ;). Buglips posted his tid bit about Juntos and that brought to mind that with winter cleared out it's time to prep for summer landscaping. This summer marks the beginning of our second year in this house and we are going to get neck deep in changing the front of our house to something much more pleasing and not so overgrown from the previous owners.
