ww.kickstarter.com/projects/ondu-/ondu-iii-pinhole-cameras-perfect-shutter-snap-on-f About Imagine a camera with no lens, no focus, no mirror and definitely no batteries that can create images like this. No need to imagine anymore, it is here. This will change the way you think about light, time and memories. We have created the ONDU pinhole camera series MK III to reignite your spark in photography, and most of all to enable you to create captivating images with light in the simplest way possible. There's a lot of nice pictures on the project page. Enjoy them, then back the project. I own the very limited edition 'Box' from the first KS(less than 20 were made), and the 6x17 OnduRama from the second KS, and both are very nice cameras. They did have issues that caused delays back then(with getting the machinery delivered and so on), but they were pretty good at keeping backers updated. But now they have all the machines in the workshop, so I expect there won't be any big delays this time Necessary disclaimer; they considered me so helpful in the comments section that they gave me a 135 pocket camera as a bonus. so yeah, I may not necessarily be completely impartial.

Anyone know a good but relatively cheap camera. Because, I need a better camera, I was trying to take a picture of one of my WIPs to post, however, it was like a red, flesh, and yellow blob in my viewfinder. So, anyone know a good but relatively cheap camera?

So Kuro is recording video! So cool. In his WIP thread, a side discussion about shooting video came up, so I thought it might be nice to have a thread on the topic. Recording, equipment, software, setups; there is a lot that goes into making videos! I did find a thread on software from a couple years back, so there's a starter on that part of the process, but it would be nice to have the different technical aspects in one spot.

I tried to post this under the Shutterbug section, but it wouldn't let me add pics.... here we go! Okay, so this is what I ended up with. I think this is pushing the camera to its limits. I had the chance to go to Lowe's today and pick up 2 8.5" clip lights and 2 Ott light bulbs rated at 1500 lumens a piece. I set the clip on lights at approx. 45 degrees to the models, and set an Ott table lamp overhead. These are pics of minis I've already completed, but under the best set up I've been able to manage. There's not much more I can do to improve on these pics so... What do you think? P.S.: It looks like one of Jazzy's hairs snuck onto the fleece backdrop... It's amazing what you don't notice until you blow these things up! LOL! Bladesinger Front Bladesinger Left Bladesinger Rear Bladesinger Right Phoebe vs. Varaug Group Shot of ALL My Minis...

So I have a nikon coolpix that i can't remember when I bought it, and frankly using it to take pictures of mini's is just downright painful. I was wondering does anyone know of a good entry level camera that won't break the bank? I would prefer to stay sub $200 and I have a friend who works at best buy so More than likely I would end up going through them for the discount. thoughts?

If you are a camera geek like me you might want to take a look at this project. This is a one time deal, no cameras will be sold after the project ends. I think this is the kind of project that is perfect for Kickstarter. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2021791111/the-120-pinhole-project?ref=home_spotlight
