I painted up this Reaper metal mini, Swiftpaw the Catfolk monk (SKU 3923) in July. I really like the catfolk minis that Glenn Harris sculpted for Reaper and this is my second completed catfolk from that series. Nothing fancy, I used the off white triad for his Gi.
Some years back I acquired a starter box of the Khaliman Republic (basically Egyptian cat people) for the French wargame Alkemy. They are the first small-scale resin I've ever assembled or painted. Anyhow, one of our gamers wished to play a Ceilican (magical were-cat) in a heavily modded World of Darkness campaign. Of the five figures in the set this one appealed the most. It appears to be a sort of lynx-man but with a long tail. There may be some flash or something. I've been reluctant to get too slicey with the resin. Here the figure is prim
One of my players is playing a Rakashan in my Savage Worlds game. They're basically a cat people race they tossed into the core rulebook so they wouldn't be stuck with just elves, dwarves, humans and half-orcs. When I got a box for the Khaliman Republic faction in Alkemy, I had the perfect mini for his character. Meet Khaja. The fur went from pure black to walnut brown to rainy gray. I think it helps break up the pure neutrals with a little warmth. Basing was done with one of the Basius basing pads (Ruined Imperial Highway) with an etched brass vine added in from a G
