  1. So I was at Michael's and stumbled on this little craft paint ceramic dog figure. I couldn't get over how it reminded me of my dog. I had to get it. I primed it in black and started to do my work. I wasn't sure how I'd make this work, but doing most of the work with a big dry brush and scaling down each layer ended up working great. I can't even describe how happy I am with this stupid little project, but I love it! This is my actual dog (model) And here's what I started with.
  2. I decided to get this and paint it for my Mom for Christmas. Arrived like this: Airbrush Primer: Base coated dark green, realized tortoises don't have green shells so went over the shell with sequential layers of Ochre/Burnt Umber mix, followed by ochre several times. Drybrushed dark blue over the skin. Washed the shell with burnt umber, washed just the crevices with a thin black wash. Highlighted the shell with mid yellow, did some speckling of red green and blue on the head and neck. AND then we run into problems, gotta do the eyes. So I do that... And we got one ridiculous looking, Stoned of his gourd tortoise. Please help!
  3. I was tasked with painting up a little ceramic puppy statue- but I couldn’t help but think it looked like Barong. Especially the way he is portrayed in the Persona games. So, that’s the direction I took him in. The basing is all my construction (it is based on images of Balinese bridges). Anyway, here he is:
