  1. Quick, easy and cheap. †Probably not good for you, but here is: Scavenger Hunt Lo Mein 1 package Top Ramen (beef or pork works best), 1/2 to 1 cup frozen Peas and Carrots two table spoons of cooking oil (olive preferable) one slice of lunchmeat (ham preferable) (optional) 1 egg In a small pot heat up the peas and carrots, when they are basically thawed put them in a bowl. †Dice up the meat into little pieces and toss it in with the veggies. Boil the ramen and drain off the water. †After draining the water add the soup spice package and stir up the noodles. †(For maximum effici
  2. Slaad from Nolzur's. Blue and Green painted in their normal colors; Death and Gray panted in red and black. Not just for fantasy; also make good spacemonsters and post-apocalyptic mutant/invaders, as shown here.
  3. So, I heard Chaos Marauders are essential in Maggotkin of Nurgle armies in Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. I prepped these guys for our planned league game that got delayed due to the pandemic. At this rate, Sons of Behemat will be out before we can play.
  4. They called them Renegade. Traitor. Heretic. Just for abandoning the lies of the Corpse-Emperor for the loving embrace of Grandfather Nurgle. They heard his call, they would tend to the eternal garden. Here are some of my last finished miniatures of 2019, I just forgot to upload them to the forums. Cultists, Renegades, and Traitors to serve in my Warhammer 40k forces.
  5. So I'm still experimenting with glow effects, but I'm pretty happy with this one Painted her to be used as a sorcerer in my 9th age army
  6. This mini was super challenging for me, but also very fun to paint! :D
  7. I'm in love with this mini, that retro feel it has is just great! I had a lot of fun painting it and tried being bold with the basing Really happy with how it turned out
  8. Tzeentch has always been one of my favorite parts of the Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar settings. I love both the concepts behind the Changer of Ways and the brilliant deformed mutants and demons that form his legions. Here are some Tzeentch minis that I’ve gotten to paint up recently. They’re actually from a few separate clients who were all excited about Tzeentch in this similar color schemes.
  9. Presenting Sir George the Gangly (I'm sure that's a real word despite what my spellchecker says), not sure who makes him, I found George and a few other Chaos types in a box while I was tidying up. Had a lot of fun painting him, although my camera didn't like taking piccys of so much metallic paint! As always, any comments or criticisms are warming received.
  10. Here my latest work. I keep trying and trying with black: highliting black. I tried with blue for a while till I was quite happy with it, and now I’m trying with grey which is more difficult... it does show here, since it completely reads as grey skin but oh well, it’s still a job I’m happy with. That’s Be’lakor, one of the finest demon figures ever made by any manufacturer. First chaos everchosen, first mortal to ascend to demonhood, blessed and cursed, the lord of the dark...
  11. WARNING NUDITY so LINKS. EDIT: Since Photbucket got Evil I linked my Putty and Paint Page here: http://www.puttyandpaint.com/projects/15073 EDITED AGAIN I HAVE A NEW HOSTING SITE> LINKED FOR NUDITY https://postimg.cc/image/rxfnuilx1/ https://postimg.cc/image/4j7oiljf9/ https://postimg.cc/image/hnd8vaj6t/ https://postimg.cc/image/4j7oilyut/ This is my first take on a bust. It's from Kabuki 1/6 scale. Since she's a Not Red Sonja, I gave her warpaint like Conan h
  12. Finished this one up today, Been working on him a little at a time to get it done for a small competition that required painting a mini that was over 20 years old. Happy with how it turned out, as well as the Khornate Icon he's standing on. Learned a lot from what was my first real base scratchbuild. WIP Forum link here Starting off with an artsy shot. and a closeup
  13. For a painting competition entry I had to find a 20 year old miniature to work with. Digging through my old boxes of minis (mostly Games Workshop) I found a "Kharn the Betrayer" chaos space marine from 96 (I think was the date on his tab). Decided I wanted to give him a fun base, something more than just the general skull pile he's usually on. So, started scratchbuilding a symbol of Khorne for him to stand on, here's two pics of the understructure. (Bottom of the actual base is the black, white cap is just for handling.) This (although small) is the most involved basing
  14. I just finished up this fellow to lead my Tzeentch Daemon army.
  15. Inspired by my acquisition of the new easy-build Blightlord kit and wanting to field some different formations for 40k, I built up a few extra Blightlord Terminators and painted them all up! Here comes Fat Voldemort and the Pants-Poopin' Crew. "Smile, lads!" The whole crew. Fat Voldemort himself. He's just so happy! The Spewer-Crewer: The Reaper Autocannon. The Flail of Corruption: The only guy actually equipped with a Combi-Plasma, which they'll probably all be using: Bone-Guy: Tentacool:
  16. I was told that my early Orctober project did not count, as I had finished it last month. So, I decided on the last minute addition of some Ork-derived Poxwalkers to go with my current Nurgle Chaos Space Marine project: Parts are from the Warhammer Orks and Orc lines, the Nurgle Plaguekings, and the old Mutation sprue. Mostly.
  17. The most recent project has been a return to working on my Nurgle forces for 40k. I'd been finishing up some Plague Zombies I had started before 8th even hit...I'll have more of these guys in the army than the actual Poxwalkers: They were a bit cut out, but you can see the also in progress vehicles in the background. From some fun sales events, I have the bits for so so many Mantic Zombies sitting around, and plan on diversifying the Pox horde to represent most of the 40k forces post-life. Distraction, however, arrived in the form of Marine reinforcement! I love the fact that th
  18. Just got back my Chaos Marauder sculpt from Shapeways. The primer is showing the print lines that were hidden when it was frosted. To be honest though, i can't really see that much wrong with it with my eyes, only when zoomed in. I've included the original sculpt for comparison
  19. Another batch of rotters, fresh off the assembly line! The forces of the Brothers of Rust get more...rank! (Badum tish) Converted Biologus Putrifiers: Also converted, a set of Foul Blightspawn: Icon Bearers: Blight Launchers:
  20. Started quite some time ago, before the more copyright-friendly Poxwalkers were introduced; here come the Plague Zombies! It's okay that they're different, Grandfather Nurgle loves us all. Plus, Zombies seem more appropriate for Halloween.
  21. Praise be to Nurgle! Another Orctober complete, and we're all safe and sound, painting projects finished. Time for a short rest... "Hey, you lot hear that?" "They're coming to get you, Orkra..." "Join us, Orkra...Grandfather loves you, too..." Orks can be Poxwalkers, too, ya know! Even Gork (and maybe Mork) can't help ya now. Flyboy: The Catcher: The Spiker! Grimace! Smiley! Orks+Zombies in O(r)ctober...doubly appropriate for the season!
  22. My last-minute WiP entry for the Iron Sleet Invitational (https://ironsleet.com/2017/10/24/invitational-firing-on-all-cylinders/) THE HERESY OF CALLAHN 7 How many years had it been since the rebellion first began on Callahan 7? For unknown decades, traitorous PDF forces lay siege to the palace of their former leader, a vile governor who thought of little but profits and nothing for safety. His shortcuts lead to a doomed populace; the atmosphere poisoned and its people dying by the acid mines and foundries that the planet was known for. The rebellion stayed at a stale
  23. One of the minis that first got me into gaming was the old Lord of Change. This was a good while back- in those days, a Lord of Change was mounted on a square 40mm base, and wasn’t much larger than the ogres of the day and they fit into a blister pack. The new Lord of Change may very well be the best mini Games Workshop has in its lineup. A very fine piece indeed, and I’m happy that I’ve gotten to paint it a few times now. Here are two of them (for the same force).
  24. *** Rise Creatures of Chaos !!!!*** *** It's time for Mankind to fall !!!*** A while ago I purchased this one through the Bay of Evil. It is supposed to be the Forged Monkey's bust. I have some doubts though. It was shown as an original, but it came without the original packing. Also I had to remove a lot of flash and needed heavy greenstuffing.. Could be a knock off. However I will paint it.. Started prepping.
