  1. I just love this mini! Her expression, her size and all her little details are just perfect. I hereby present Anna Bogna Pavlova from Hell Dorado (SKU HD7012). She was a joy to paint!
  2. This is the Bodyguard (DGS Games SKU71318). No reason you cannot dress the way you like while guarding your employer...
  3. Another attempt at clearing the backlog, I painted up a bunch of lions. Reaper Bones lions on bigger square bases (Reaper Bones 77341) Classic Lions from Ral Partha (31-031): Another really old miniature that I thought was a Grenadier piece, but its actually from Ravens Forge (SKU CON1013). It is one of a pair of lions, I have the other mini somewhere.
  4. Merryn Elmshadow, Female Elf Thief (Reaper SKU 2590) is a classic Sandra Garrity sculpt. Other than the studded leather, I really enjoyed painting this one.
  5. Linked for furry nudity. Mini by Darksword miniatures (SKU 1231), it is part of the Larry Elmore collection. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_ZgOi70hDxneVJUcFNsakRkMFE https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_ZgOi70hDxnWUYwSWVSbUIwV2c https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_ZgOi70hDxnTS0wWk14QUctSGs
  6. In an effort to reduce the unpainted mini mountain I decided to speed paint some statuary in February. First up Angels of Sorrow, Reaper Bones 77362. For some reason my camera was doing weird stuff, so that is why the lighting is so different between the 2 pics. My second set of Caryatid Columns, Reaper Bones 77378, And my favorite, the Mouse Tomb from Oathsworn Miniatures:
  7. I had to try out the Sparkling Snow paint I bought during the Christmas promotion. What better victim than the Winter fairy? Her dress and trail are the Sparkling snow paint, it is actually a very white silvery color.
  8. My entry for the Valentine's day contest, Cinderella and the unlucky Frog Prince. This is what happens if you go looking for love in the wrong fairy tale, and get run over by a princess in a hurry! A pretty horrid frog sculpt by me... My Cinderella was a bit miscast, her face was very flat and awkward, so I ended up not putting in as much effort into this as I otherwise would have. Oh well, at least its another from the lead/pewter/plastic mountain done!
  9. Here is a group of speed painted bones skeletons I painted back in February. I spent maybe 4 hours total on all of them. I am still planning on adding some plant materials to the base. Skeletal Spearmen (77001) Skeletal Archers (77017) Skeletal Swordsmen (77018) All the bones skeletons I have painted so far: And all the skeletons I have ever painted, because I love me some group shots. The ones in front (and back) was painted over 20 years ago, before I started basing. Miniatures from Grenadier, Ral Partha, Rafm and of course Reaper.
  10. This is the classic Ral Partha Hippogriff (SKU 11-441) from the awesome Dungeons and Dragons line. I finished this up in November last year, I just got around to taking pictures.
  11. This is the only mini I finished in December of 2016, but at least it was a larger figure.... Otherworld Miniatures Iron Golem (SKU DM32d) on a 2 inch diameter Reaper base. He is painted using mostly metallic paints.
  12. This is the Siren Maneater from Antimatter Games (DW2022) in resin. I see her as Ursula from the Little Mermaid after she has stolen Ariel's voice. I just love her pose!
  13. Quick paint job on Callie the rogue in bones. I painted her with the skin tone I have been using for my half-orcs. I figure she will see game time as a npc bandit most of the time.
  14. This is the bones version of Pathfinder Seelah, Iconic Human Paladin (Reaper Bones SKU 89011). this is another on I finished in November 2016, but didn't get around to taking pictures until now. There were some issues with the bones material on this one, the nose was flattened a bit plus there was some pitting. I was happy with the freehand, its a bummer it is off center. But she is good enough for tabletop, and she is off the Shelf of Shame.
  15. Love the swagger on this figure! This one was actually finished back in August, I just had not painted enough to get the photo setup out to take pictures until now.
  16. This classic Grenadier Witch is from the Fantasy Warriors Personalities line, and sculpted by Mark Copplestone. I rushed her at the end to get her off my paint table. I still like how she turned out.
  17. This is one of the miniatures offered as a special reward during one of the Bombshell miniatures Kickstarters. I don't believe it is for sale anywhere which is a bit sad since its a great little mini. Front view linked for nudity: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_ZgOi70hDxnVXcwVTBOOUVCTUk
  18. This is the second of the plastic soldiers from the Frostgrave Soldiers (SKU FGVP01) that I have finished so far. I have 8 more glued together, out of 40 now.... I bought another box since I really like the kit.
  19. I hurried these two Hasslefree ladies to be ready for starting a new Pathfinder game tommorrow, where Dynamic Lenore (SKU HFH110) is going to be my Half-Orc Summoner and static Lenore (SKU HFH087) will be her eidolon. They are such great sculpts. Edited: Added more tags
  20. This is one of the plastic soldiers from the Frostgrave Soldiers (SKU FGVP01). This is the only one I have finished painting so far, I have 1 more in progress, and 8 more glued together (out of 20). I really like the kit, and I need to get them all assembled and painted.
  21. Semira Marise (SKU HFX023) is another great sculpt from Kev White at Hasslefree Miniatures. When I started painting the Hasslefree Lenores earlier this week, I also started this miniature, so she was finished in record time.
  22. I finished painting this beastie back in June, but I hadn't gotten around to taking pictures until now. The clear purple makes for really neat effects.
  23. I love this snakeman from the Pathfinder line. After I had picked the major colors and done the base coats, I realized I had picked the 3 most difficult colors, black, red and yellow (kinda). Doh!
  24. This is Dark Sword Miniatures Harbinger, Female Angel (SKU 7605) that I got as part of the Dark Sword Stephanie Law Kickstarter. A beautiful figure, sculped by Patrick Keith.
