I'm revamping my pack of Growlers from their original rubble grey with metal claws / horns to more of a desert plains lion pack look ...and they are a spiky bunch (a few pics in ongoing projects) with large claws and a ridge of spikes running down their backs ... and I'm a terrible painter , but willing to work on it ... So if you got some nifty techniques or slick tricks to make some good horns that are pleasing to the eyes I'm all ears ...

Did most of this one at the local game shop on Thursday, then finished the details at home. She will be standing in as a Herald of Slaanesh, for my Age of Sigmar: Skirmish Warband.:

That is a Microart Studio resin jungle base 3 x 2 inch! I tried to emulate the metallic sheen that some beetles have on this scorpion. Using different metallics and then some inks and black glazing. Enjoy. Likes and comments welcome,if you want to throw rotten tomatoes, report to the scorpion first for a "talk"

I was fairly happy with this one until I took photos. See that I have managed to clot the paint a little much. Don't want to fiddle with her anymore though. The little tree is made from a dried grape-wine. :/

Are you a scared cub again?†Withdrawing a stone from his blade and standing up barton replied, “Quiet you old fool,†howling the elder lion chimes in return, “Ahrrrr, in my day we use to rush to the battle.†Barton replies, “Yes and in your day you use to eat cubs and your generation died in the millions.†Satisfied that he silenced the old lion, the elder lion quickly fired back with a prideful grin, “True, but we were known as the most terrifying enemy in the land. Not even the king would dare challenge our people, NOW look at us, you’re his pet.†Continuing on his diatribe the elder lion walks over to Barton, placing a hand on his shoulder, “Why do you fight for this king? He is just using you.†Strapping his freshly sharpened sword to his hip Barton replies, “Because the money’s good and if I fight, he will kill our people last…†Silently they both acknowledged the horror that rest in front of their people. “…Barton, may the prophets guide you†__________________________________________________________________ [This guy got 3rd place in a small reaper forums painting contest.
