As commanded by the very, well, commanding @Glitterwolf, I’m going to paint this big boy. I’ve been eyeing him on the corner of my desk for months now, and to be honest I’m a little afraid of him. He’s probably going to look somewhere between terrible and mediocre by the time I’m done, but at least he won’t be grey anymore. I’m probably going to use the airbrush that I barely know how to operate quite a bit. I think we’re going to need a bigger brush ... I only have up to a size 2, which I guess would be like mowing the grass with nail clippers. Should I get a size ... 4? All are very welcome to critique/comment/heckle/throw tomatoes/etc. I need and will be very grateful for any advice and assistance I receive, but please don’t be too disappointed if it doesn’t do very much good.

Drizzt and Guen from the Galeforce9, D&D Collector's series. Does anybody know if that series is now defunct? Those HD minis may have taken their place I think. I painted Guen to look like she was being summoned or returning to the Astral Plane. At least that is what my brain and brush pictured it looking like. Instead of using the one base, I thought it would be more useful in gaming for them to have separate bases.

It's the Demogorgon!!! This was painted for a friend of mine of whom I was honored he trusted me with this fairly expensive model. He also let me pick the color scheme from several pictures of what other artists have depicted it as over time. This was my favorite look of them all and probably the most difficult due to the many colors going on here, but I could not resist. This is the way I would have painted it if it was for myself. The model is really large and took me 2 months to paint. A few nights a week, a couple of hours each of those nights really takes it's toll. You stare at something so long, you start to question yourself. Luckily, I would show a progress pic to my friend and he would cheer me on. I actually purchased one of these models for myself a while back and not really sure how I will paint the next go around or even if I will ever want to paint it again. Only time will tell. This one is for scale. Couple of close ups. If you have never seen this creature before, I was inspired by this artwork:
