  1. Doubt youll ever find cheaper http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/po-boys-terrain
  2. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1281758745/professional-mp3-background-loops-for-role-playing?ref=category Kind of cool for atmospheric backround sounds during a game.
  3. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/furie-arcanepunk-antica-skirmish-game A Yeti faction? I suspect these guys might run into IP problems for some of their concepts..
  4. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/986826251/duel-fighters I've seen these models painted by enough great painters that I thought they might be of interest.
  5. Impact! are at it again, thjis time with a Fantasy Football Ogre Team. Have to say, these look more appealing than most football ogres out there right now:
  6. Just saw this TTRPG on Kickstarter called The Strange. It looks interesting and it's entering its final couple of hours having blown through their original goal by quite a bit. I didn't see this anywhere else on the KS threads so if it's a duplicate please merge it.
  7. Our dreams may have come true! A foldable studio with different background colors! I'm in, watching early bird like a hawk! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/502701513/foldio-the-1st-foldable-studio-for-smartphone?ref=home_popular

  11. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/magecompany/machina-arcana Looks pretty cool. Seem to be keeping their costs down by forgoing mini's and using standees. I like the art.
  12. 12 Realms, Fairytale boardgame for 1-6 players. They have a $20 pledge level to get one of the minis unpainted with a couple of dice and related character cards, postage is included for that cost. The main box as it stands is very miniature light, Just 4 pre-painted castles with a character miniature for each of the realms in future stretch goals being added to the $95 level, which also includes a couple of dice rings BUT in update 4 after a few comments it looks like they are considering an option to put more minis in the box and have them unpainted, which obviously is something I would personally prefer. The designs for the minis look nice but they are just 3D sculpts at the moment, no physical copies that I've seen to confirm the quality, but hey! Kitty Cat Robin Hood! http://www.kickstart...mpany/12-realms If anyone knows the company any info would be appreciated, i've not come across MAGE company before.

  14. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/106178936/qu-sh-ug-casting-fundraiser-by-pure-evil-miniature Simple kickstarter to fund the production of a lovecraft-esque beastie with optional tongue tentacles. Images are on a 50mm base, he's 4.5cm tall, 7 cm long and made of resin.

  16. No-one has posted about this Kickstarter yet so here I go: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/985647565/playsets-the-future-of-social-storytelling This seems like a great app. for gamers playing over distances, the real-time character movements and emotes are such a great idea. The custom World-building for GMs sound fun too. I've pledged for Beta access, I hope they reach their goal. I think they've done an impressive amount of work for a team of 3, hopefully with more funding and more people the project and can grow into something extraordinary.
  17. Hey everyone! I wanted to let everyone know that there are only 6 days left to get in on the Plight of the Tuatha adventure path Kickstarter campaign I am currently running. This adventure path is a set of 4 modules designed to take your characters from 2nd to 10th level and introduce you to the Imperiums Campaign Setting. The modules include a ton of new creatures and magic items, as well as some optional new rules. The Kick starter page includes some preliminary art that has been comissions from Dean Spencor (who has art in the new Paizo Bestiary 4 as well as other publications). We are also currently having pieces draw by Carolina Eade whose work you have also seen in Pathfinder publications. I have included a sample of the writing as well so that you can get a little bit of the flavor of the adventure path. Come check out the project! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/991277697/plight-of-the-tuatha-a-pathfinder-rpg-adventure-pa http://www.imperiumscs.com

  19. So, the Burning Wheel people have KickStarted a new dungeon-crawler, Torchbearer! I am in. I don't expect to ever get to play it; it's a campaign game and I am time-poor. But I very much want to read through it! It's got strong survival / struggle elements and things like hunger and fear come into play as your poor desperate idiots adventurers go delving into dark, cold places the living should not go. This sounds like exactly the RPG I would have liked to play when I was young. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/burningwheel/torchbearer?ref=live

  21. Hi Guys, As usual I perused a couple of pages and couldn't find a link to this one, so apologies if I'm doubling up. With that out of the way - here's a kickstarter for a beautiful Deck of Many Things. Tarot size cards with all original work. It looks gorgeous and is really easily affordable. Excellent value for those of you that love getting Deck'd. Or Deck'ing your group :D http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1997853065/deck-of-many-things
  22. http://www.swordandboardgames.com.au/ Minis look great.. female orc! Apparently they had a failed IGG campaign, btu they are already getting digital sculpts together and some production previews

  24. I thought I would post this here for a little exposure to the US STEM project to expose more elementary and middle school childre to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). A friend of mine ran a Kickstarter about 3 months ago and his book just came out. Funny thing is, I didn't know anything about it, as he had "dropped off the face of the earth" for a month or two. We just caught up this week for lunch and he brought me a copy. It got me wondering what other KS's are out there. I have backed two this week, one of which closed late yesterday. Here is the other one that closes on November 14, 2013: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jennabryson/grace-from-outer-space-a-stem-heroine-to-inspire-g While it is funded, it never hurts to help out. If you seen any more cool STEM Kickstarter projects, link them here as well!
  25. And now for something completely different, meet Nelvana: I kid, but apparently this is a relative. Nelvana of the Northern Lights is Canada's first super hero, the first Inuit super hero, and one of the first female super heroes, predating even Wonder Woman. Her adventures were published for a few years then disappeared with the rest of the Canadian comic book industry near the end of WWII. Here's the real Nelvana drawn by Adrian Dingle (I think she looks like a Stonehaven Elf): A couple of enterprising young women (Hope Nicholson and Rachel Richey) have obtained reprint rights and have been tracking down all known editions of her comics with the hopes of printing a collected edition. Just in time, as some issues only have a single known copy. They got help in the form of several artists who donated original artwork to the cause, backers can purchase prints or even the original art at various pledge levels. Of course the main product is the comic, and it is available in digital, softcover or hardcover versions. Here are some of the drawings: By the way, if the name Nelvana sounds familiar, the well known animation studio was named for Nelvana of the Northern Lights, the company was founded by a couple comic book fans in Canada. Fun fact, their logo features a polar bear in honour of Nelvana riding one in her first issue. The project is fully funded, and has already unlocked all it's stretch goals (bookplates, bookmarks, mini prints etc.) It ends November 1st if anyone is interested. Here's a link to their kickstarter page: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hopelnicholson/nelvana-of-the-northern-lights-canadas-first-super
