  1. OMG this kickstarter looks so awesome! It's a kickstarter that will run the most horrible, hackneyed, stupid, obvious dungeon but make it fun and hilarious. I believe to show that it's not the game text that is problem with bad games, but how they are run. It's too bad my husband won't let me pony up the cash to make sure I get a seat at this game, because this looks like it's gonna be one heck of a ride! For those of us unfamiliar with the Dungeon Bastard, he usually makes hilarious videos which tongue in cheek tell players how to be better gamers. He has a whole series, but the original one can be found here.
  2. Galactic Strike Force: the Cooperative Deck-Building Game by Greater Than Games, award-winning creators of Sentinels of the Multiverse Deck building game with optional spaceship minis. No mockups or greens of the minis, but I can vouch for the quality of the game itself; these guys do good work.

  4. Fantasy gaming wooden Meeples. Pretty neat idea for some uses. While I personally wouldn't replace my usual gaming figures for war gaming or RPGs, I could see using these for board games or younger kids. Pretty neat idea really. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/coe/fantasy-gaming-figures?ref=search
  5. Hello everyone, For those who are fans of Standard Action (http://standardaction.zombieorpheus.com/) they are running a kickstarter to fund their third season. I happened upon them during their first season and have really been impressed with the work they put out. For those who are unfamiliar, the episodes follow the adventures of a small oddball adventuring group as they muddle their way through various challenges. While not a new concept (similar genre to OOTS, The Gamers and many more) the Standard Action crew do a nice job of putting their own spin on things. Anyway if you have any interest in game world comedy check out their page and kickstarter. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gamerati/standard-action-season-3
  6. Here's a little KS from my local-ish area that's pretty cool. I haven't had the chance to put in any money yet (waiting on payday), but you can bet I will when I can. I'm thinking the $40 level looks good to me. A t-shirt I can proudly wear would be awesome. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1022530997/help-save-a-historic-drive-in-movie-theater?ref=live Mind you, I've never actually been to this theater. But my husband and his best friend have numerous times, and I've been wanting to go. The thought of it closing before I get the chance bums me out, so I've love to help it stay open.
  7. As someone with friends in the industry, anything that can be done to shine some light in the dark places is a good thing.. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1319761157/gtfo
  8. One of my favorite bands, and special guests on the Bob and Tom show, Here come the Mummies have their own Kickstarter to help launch their next CD. If you like the Funk, especially with lots of horns, please give them a listen. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/787528134/make-cryptic-our-best-and-biggest-yet
  9. Hey everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that my new kickstarter is live! I am making dry erase safe, laser cut acrylic tiles that can be fit together like puzzle pieces. It's really just best if you can check it out here - http://kck.st/ZxGMTe We're already funded and trying to hit our stretch goals so we can throw in more free swag to everyone that pledge's. If you can't afford to pledge, then we're offering up 3 free packages to people that post about our Kickstarter and help promote us. If you put up a link to our kickstarter on Facebook/Twitter/Anywhere else and send us a link to prove it, we'll put your name into a drawing for the free stuff that takes place at the end of the Kickstarter. Thanks for reading, I hope you like it, Levi Clark
  10. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/escenorama-sci-fi-line?c=home Fixed funding Indigogo campaign Some interesting sci-fi terrain with free worldwide shipping. Im really liking the container pack, that could be useful for Bug Hunt Corridors, Assimilation Aliend Host, Deadzone, Necromunda, etc...
  11. Some interesting pieces. They seem to fit together at the corners better than other laser-cut buildings. I especially like the blue force sheild. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/brush4hire/brush-4-hire-barricades-and-bunkers?ref=search
  12. Some modern/sci-fi weapons that might make suitable conversion bits. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1474140048/toys-for-your-toys-science-fiction-wargaming-acces?ref=category
  13. 28mm Steampunk Heavy Weapons Kickstarter This one is listed in the big stickied thread, but I haven't seen any discussion, nor did I notice the project until just now. I must say I'm really tempted to pick up some of these for my dormant Space 1889 projects. Tesla cannons in the sponsons of an Airship are really tempting. (Might be a questionable choice in a naval vessel, of course. ) Anyway, only a couple of days left.
  14. For those of you at an age to play this, the core game is a ton of fun, the guys who make it are really nice, and it's totally worth checking out. Was fortunate enough to hop in on a tournament last month. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/555281510/drunkquest-the-90-proof-seas
  15. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1402889231/galaxy-defenders-co-op-sci-fi-miniature-board-game This is a cooperative game that has the option to switch out for white metal minis in place of the plastic ones included.
  16. This isn't a miniatures game, but it is compatible with 15mm war minis. It's a WWII wargame with more emphasis on fast play and Hollywood over-the-top shenanigans. No rulers involved. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1538673930/heroes-of-normandie Also: Achthung!Cthulhu mod. You can't go wrong with WWII + Cthulhu. There's also a DUST mod. Both are already unlocked for free, while Achtung!Cthulhu has an additional addon and an additional entire expansion box that can be purchased. This is also the last day for the Kickstarter!
  17. WISH I WAS HERE by Zach Braff (trying to ride the coat tails of Veronica Mars...and it seems to be working)

  19. Search didnt turn this one up anywhere: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/772848122/underground-lasers-28mm-modular-terrain
  20. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1679800548/dungeons-of-the-mountain-king?ref=category Nice looking 28mm dwarven halls. Paper terrain. Print out the PDF files on thick cardstock paper and glue together.
  21. I quite enjoyed the Wings of War (Now Wings of Glory) aerial combat game. Now many of those game mechanics have been carried over into this naval combat game based on historical sailing ships. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1402889231/sails-of-glory-miniatures-ship-combat The kickstarter itself seems a bit pricey to me, especially with the added delivery. It's something I can see myself picking up at retail but will be passing on the kickstarter.
  22. For anyone looking for an alternate world setting for Pathfinder.... http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1860935013/thunderscape-the-world-of-aden
  23. Local PFS player and artist is part of this. Looks cute for kids and maybe Pern fans? http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stormlightworkshop/flight-rising-0
  24. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/bi-xo-wars They kind of look like Nerds candy with arms..
