  1. This is the 22nd project my wife and I have worked side by side together on. Posted tbis on Facebook but first time adding our project to the forums. I hope you like our Interpretation of the KS Mammoth not sure if the is a SKU for it. C&C more than welcome. Felt with it being a mammoth a more wintery theme should be more in keeping. Enjoy. Stay safe in these troubled times.
  2. A Viking Girl sculpted by Bobby Jackson. She was a lot of fun to paint since she had a lot of canvas for freehand work. She is also my first serious effort at NMM, so that's a well I plan to return to. I came to paint her when I asked my friends which model needed to get some love next. I presented a wizard, a ranger, and an armored lady fighter. One chimes in that she'd like to see the fighter (she being a practitioner of HEMA). Her boyfriend mentions something about boob armor. I said, no, she's got pretty normal armor. You want to see something egregious? THIS is egregious. My HEMA friend immediately says, "I'd like to change my vote." So here we are. Here's the WIP thread for her. Here's my next piece.
  3. I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tftb/world-war-ii-soviet-railroad?ref=discovery_recommendations Story Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II. With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system. The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act. Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded. And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered. Talking about railroad tracks: We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with 4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter. All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

  5. (forgive me, very new to the forums) Andowyn Thrushmoor! It's been awhile since I've painted a plain ol' character miniature. I spent the better part of today working on her and I’m overall pleased with how she came out. I really want to double my skill level by the time Bones V is delivered and I’m proud of my progress! Slowly but surely figuring out how to do faces, this one looks pretty okay, though her right eye is funky. Since this is my first form post, the picture is her next to my first miniature! It's about four years old and I keep it around the rest of my collection in a place of honor
  6. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dogmight/kickstarter-exclusive-fire-dragon-valhalla-screen "You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen. In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. " ... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one? If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
  7. So.. I fell over this. It's... well, go look for yourselves; https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/159974695/badbandana-6-pizza-dragons ... pizza and dragons. Where have I seen this notion before..? I can't quite... >.>
  8. 9. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/266656159/bestiary-3d-printable-models As I backed Brayan's previous KS but never got my files (I got a email in regards to this KS) but a quick email response & I had my file that I backed + a bonus file. Love the look on the minis. The goblins can be new PC gobs for ReaperCon We Be Goblins. Love the Oriental dragon as well.
  10. Seeing as there wasn't a thread yet, I wanted to share another project that just hit Kickstarter, "DEPTHS OF SAVAGE ATOLL" It's a great project I was happy to be involved with, doing some of the FDM print testing. Everything looks great and prints well! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/depths-of-savage-atoll-3d-printable-tabletop-model/description Welcome to "Depths of Savage Atoll" - an island chain on the edge of the world where the currents of the ocean, waves of the sea, sands of the beaches, and old-growth of the jungle are all teeming with life, adventure, and countless dangers. Enrich your tabletop RPG or wargaming experience with 3D print-ready minis, monsters, terrain, and buildings from island, nautical, and undersea environment. This Kickstarter provides character minis, monsters, scatter terrain, buildings, and more for you to produce at home on your FDM or resin 3D printer. Rewards are for digital STL files to print the products shown and described in this campaign. Rewards are split into two categories: Scatter, and Minis - designed to be used together or independently, and all for normal tabletop gaming scale (28-32mm).
  11. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vaspider/symbols-of-faith-and-pride This has sod all to do with miniatures, but I would be surprised if there were not people who might want one of these pins, for literally any reason at all. I'll let the campaign speak for itself, as I usually do; it is pins. There are, as the title implies, representations for most of the common faiths, in a literal rainbow of ... well, Pride rainbows.
  12. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/859512613/dragon-masters Hi all, Next month (probably the 14th) we will launch our latest project called Dragon Masters. Here's a little preview in the form of some of the concept art and renders created. We will share some more pictures soon!
  13. I haven’t backed any of Bears Heads kickstarters yet, but I’ve been tempted by everyone. This is the one that I give in to. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/98300108/narthoks-the-excellent But hurry! It’s funded with ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT! As nice as that sculpt is, it’s the sci-fi and bartender versions I’m most excited about. The stretch goals for those have been reached, but only concept drawings are available to show. I think these are great unique looking eye beasts. @TheAuldGrump maybe something you could use for your campaign?

  15. This is TF's second crowdfunding project. Since they're located in Russia, they're not currently eligible to run a campaign on KS. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/tiny-market-square-28mm-medieval-citizens#/ Here are some of their unlocked miniatures:
  16. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dgsgames/thrakansor-dragon-of-fire?ref=discovery About This project creates a resin dragon model for use in the Freeblades Fantasy Miniatures Game in 32mm scale. This model will be sculpted by the amazingly talented Julie Guthrie. You can easily find examples of her work by searching online, particularly her work for Reaper Miniatures. We are extremely fortunate to be collaborating with her on this project. For more information about the Freeblades game, see our website at www.dgsgames.com Your pledge will take this new creature from concept art, to masterful sculpture and then into production to be delivered to our backers. Dragons are denizens of the hidden world of Karelon, an alternate reality separated from the World of Faelon by The Between. There are nine dragons, one for each of the nine energies: fire, water, air, earth, ice, illusion, celestial, void and an energy not yet revealed in our world. Thrakansor is the Dragon of Fire, and devastates Faelon in the opening stages of the BrightSword War. To get a sense of scale of the model, here is the concept art with a human silhouette for reference. That silhouette represents a human-sized Freeblades model 32mm in height. The model will come with a 120mm round resin base. Sometime after all rewards have been delivered, Thrakansor will enter the Freeblades game system with complete rules and be available for use in scenarios that feature a large beast such as Beast Hunt and The Lair. We intend to publish additional scenarios that specifically make use of this model. Interested backers can be part of the playtesting of this model's rules and scenarios. This is a very simple project. We are only making one thing - this beautiful dragon model. There will not be any stretch goals, so the incentive to get us over the funding level rests in your hands. Tell all your friends who might be interested that they can have a large resin dragon model sculpted by Julie Guthrie for the simple pledge of $60. We here at DGS Games would like to take this opportunity to thank our long time friend and Freeblades player Bryan Bledsoe for being the driving force behind this project. Bryan generated sufficient interest in this project for us to take a look at doing it far earlier than intended and it has led us to this point where we are collaborating with one of the world's most renown miniature sculptors to bring a very important new creature into our pantheon. A million thanks Bryan, we would not be here without you. One of the main reasons why this project was not originally on the plate for this year is that we already have a major kickstarter project planned for launch on 1 January 2019 in which we will create two entirely new factions for the Freeblades game. Please follow us and watch for more information coming soon. For our friends beyond the borders of the US: International Shipping Zones Please add the appropriate amount to your pledge for the area you live in. If you have any questions please let us know and we will get you an answer. Mexico/Canada - add $15 United Kingdom, Mainland Europe, Australia - add $22 Anywhere else - add $40
  17. Hi all, I feel a bit bad that this is my first post here on Reaper Forum advertising a kickstarter. I used to go by the Moniker Kaybee or Kaybee81 (can't remember) but as I'm known as beefcake on other fora I thought it best to go by the same name everywhere. Anyway here is a link to some STL files for purchase. The Wizard's Tower contains stackable tower sections to create your own unique Wizard's Tower. Files have been scaled for 28mm miniatures but, as with all 3d printable files, you have the ability to scale them up or down to suit your gaming needs. The initial reward consists of 7 different modular tower pieces and a ladder. All of which have been created on Blender, run through a repair tool, to check for any non-manifold parts and other errors, and printed. [li]Tower roof[/li] [li]Single window tower section[/li] [li]Tower section with door[/li] [li]Tower bridge (2 bridge sections link together)[/li] [li]Double window tower section[/li] [li]Windowless tower section[/li] [li]Tower base[/li] [li]and a ladder[/li] [/li] [/list] All for NZD $10 (roughly USD $6.80) The tower pieces can be oriented in almost any direction to provide a different look each time you game. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1173449368/the-wizards-tower-3d-printable-modular-tower-syste
  18. For the StoneHaven fans out there or for those who have yet to discover them.
  19. This is by Bob Naismith, who has a long pedigree in figure design. I really like all of it, especially the hoverbikes. But the prices are steep. I might buy a couple of display pieces, wish I could afford an army.
  20. SITHRAH is a sci-fi about a little girl trying to find her father after their plane crashes in a unfamiliar land. That's when she starts seeing an invisible creature, called SITHRAH, who has been following her around. It's not long until she runs into a young man named Dino who is running from his own ghosts. Together they set out to find her missing father wherever the evidence leads. Book 4 will focus on their journey across The Deep to try to find Light City. This series will be 6 books long. Sithrah has been a big experiment with the comic format by mixing subtle prose with comic panels. My hope is to blur the lines between comics, children's books, and novels without making it jarring for the reader. Most of my inspiration comes from the comic artists of the 90's when I refined my drawing style. Later I became influenced by Miyazaki's movies and storytelling and have been trying to make comics that have a similar depth and feeling.
  21. About Over a year ago we started looking at beginning a High-Seas Adventure D&D campaign. However, we wanted to kick it up a notch (or five). So, we began looking for a great set of 3d Dungeon tiles to help bring the adventures to life for our players. We wanted something that was customizable, beautiful to look at, and was playable terrain. We also didn't want to spend $100 per ship. We realized that customizable didn’t really exist- we had to *choose* if we wanted beauty, or a slim amount of customization. Not to mention that the costs were extreme per ship.. We couldn’t put together a fleet of different ships if we wanted to without breaking the bank. Being an Indy designer- Chris decided to start working on something better, and finally- after seeing friends and family reactions to the initial prototype- ShipWorks began becoming a reality. Shipworks is modular. What this means is that from the hull to the masts and everywhere in between- you have the freedom to design and print the sailing ship that you want. Not just another generic template, but your minds eye brought to life. The ships seen table time ;-) Details and customization is also inside.. ShipWorks is also fully usable terrain- to scale with miniatures common to some of the oldest and greatest table top roleplaying games. Your miniatures can traverse the rigging shrouds and masts, climb ladders and stairs, and explore above or even below decks. Captain checking the rigging as a swab runs up to the wheel Even our yard-arms are functional terrain- 25mm miniatures bases slide in with ease, and stay there- even when turned upside down! Upside down can be right side up- depending on perspective. With ShipWorks you get to choose: The length of your ship. Adjust the width of the ship. Your prows appearance, and even the figurehead that adorns it! Add more (or less) masts and their length! No messy shaping of wood dowels (unless you’re into that). Add a crows nest or viewing platform. A host of customizations to change your hull. From the number of weapons ports to fight off enemies, to creature comforts like windows for passenger cabins. Even sleek flat hull panels for showing off your more merchant elite! How you want your sails, from classic square to sharp looking lateen triangles. If you change your mind- change them on the fly! Your stern-castle and fore-castle (or have neither Captain!)
  22. Bunny Girls, modeled by Brother vinnie. Need I say more? There's also a set of bunnies to choose for those who need a familiar or just to add to a diorama.
  23. Annie Norman of "Dicebag Lady" fame is running another Kicksarter, but only for 14 days: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1512506318/freyjas-wrath-dark-age-and-fantasy-28mm-shieldmaid?ref=section_games_popular
  24. Interesting and focused KS for skulls and other bones (not Reaper Bones!) in resin. You get a fair amount for the price.
