  1. Primeval Thule is a brand-new campaign setting compatible with the Pathfinder RPG, 13th Age RPG, or 4th edition Dungeons & Dragons. Check out the KS video and campaign here: http://kck.st/11dxIWq Created by Richard Baker, Stephen Schubert, and me (David Noonan), Primeval Thule is a savage world inspired by Robert E. Howard (Conan) and H.P. Lovecraft (Cthulhu). Come to Thule, the home of barbarian freebooters and dark magic, of star-spawned monstrosities and elder gods, of fabulous adventures and mind-blasting terror. The hardcover campaign setting book will feature cover art by Todd Lockwood, interior cartography by Christopher West, and (depending on stretch goals) writer contributions from Ed Greenwood, Jason Bulmahn, and Owen Stephens. And here's some recent news from over the weekend: We've added two PDF adventures to all backer levels of $40 or more: • An adventure designed by noted third-party publisher Legendary Games. • An adventure designed to utilize the minis in the just-kickstarted Cthulhu Wars boardgame. (You can play it just fine without the minis, too.) If you have any questions, ask away! --Dave. (@davidnoonan on Twitter)

  3. This one seems fun - a board game about fairy-tale characters in a duel to the death with each other. If they make their final stretch goal, then they include minis of all the characters in the game - So that could be an axe-wielding Alice in Wonderland, or a sword-carrying Cinderella. For people outside the US, their 45,000 stretch goal will reduce international shipping to 10 bucks. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/682539325/fairytale-games-the-battle-royale
  4. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1888572386/mekton-zero Yup, that's what it is.
  5. The Sovereign Stone RPG is being updated to Pathfinder rules (well, the parts that aren't unique to the setting) and re-released.
  6. Cool looking game with a lot of comic style. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/iello/guardians-chronicles
  7. Only one Mini pledge level $30 for the dragon or one ship.. but the $75 game pledge gets all of them in the box: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1956069330/teramyyd-earthsphere-0

  9. going live at 9am EDT today they have a website with forums set up for it: https://torment.inxile-entertainment.com/ Torment: Tides of Numeneraâ„¢ continues the thematic legacy of the critically acclaimed Planescape: Tormentâ„¢. Set in Monte Cook's new tabletop role-playing world, Numeneraâ„¢, the newest Torment asks: What does one life matter? Numenera's Ninth World is a fantastic vision of a world in which massive civilizations have risen and fallen - disappeared, transcended, overwhelmed, or destroyed - and left their cities, monuments, and artifacts behind. As each rose and fell, their achievements became part of the accumulated detritus of eons... but much of it did not decay. And now this assortment of ancient power is there for the taking, ever-present, underfoot. The humans of the Ninth World take and use what they can. They call these wonders (and horrors) the numenera. One of these humans discovers a way to use the numenera to grow strong, to cheat death, to skip across the face of centuries in a succession of bodies. But he discovers an unexpected side effect: You. Tormentâ„¢ is a game of complex and nuanced morality, deep and reactive choice and consequence, and immersion into a new and strange vision. You will chart a course through bizarre dimensions, across the face of a vastly different world. You will earn companions along the way, and discover their value - perhaps through their strengths, perhaps more literally by selling them. Throughout it all, you will choose a path that will lead inexorably to an ending that stems naturally from your actions, facing adversaries who harness powers beyond your comprehension, and who will ultimately force you to face yourself and answer the question: What does one life matter?

  11. While we are waiting for this one to start, new stuff up on their web page: From the warped minds of our creative department, we’d like to show you one of our creations and tell you a little about it. Behold “The Hoarding Beastâ€. This nightmarish abomination is a giant deep earth worm. It is a large base 50mm model that is part of a collection of 3 models – one for each force. â€The Hoarding Beast†is a Garrick force summoned creature. The other two are “Erham of the Deep†and “The Ocean Lordâ€. This monster can move between areas of stone by burrowing underground. Its hunger and glutinous spirit are enhanced by chant magic. The deep bowels of its body hold several stomachs that store its pray for later digestion. Like an emperor on a throne, the tribal overlord that directs this beast snatches unlucky souls with a sythe and feeds them to “The Hoarding Beastâ€. Woe be to the world if he should falter, because without direction this summoned creature will consume friend and foe alike…
  12. The Mythos Foundry project with the 16.5" inch (21 if you count the wings) tall Cthulhu has introduced several more add-on miniature options to the ones they already had (which included an amazing HP Lovecraft figure). The new additions include "Roy" (who reminds me of Bobby from Supernatural), a phoenix, an alien mid-autopsy, and best of all (and for reasons that elude me) a giant albino penguin. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mythosfoundry/cthulhu-mythos-foundry-style

  14. This looks like a cool, boutique miniature option. The models are being designed for a future game project, but they are just getting the minis made first and foremost. The regular, non-collector's minis are cast in plastic. Apparently not injection-molded because the goal amount is far too low, so possibly some kind of spincast plastic. $12 for 1 mini $16 for 1 mini and a bone (think oraclular bones, used in the future game instead of dice) and the ability to add more minis with a bone each for $12 per miniature $22 for 1 hand-cast resin mini, art card and certificate of authenticity.
  15. Here's a FUN one for y'all! The guys at Team Frog Studios (formerly known as Crunchy Frog) have gotten together with the guys that produce the webcomic Superfogeys. Who doesn't need an AWESOME Old Fart Superheroes RPG? You'll all LOVE the figures that you can get with the game too! [/shameless self promotion] So what are you waiting for Reaperinos? Get on over there and help Paul out!! http://www.reapermini.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/wink.png Kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/481433198/the-superfogeys-adventure-game-by-team-frog-studio Team Frog Studios: http://www.teamfrog.com/ Superfogeys webcomic: http://superfogeys.com/

  18. GAZILLIONS of years in the future... Every possible calamity, cataclysm, apocalypse, and cosmic hangnail has befallen our beloved Mutha Oith during a bygone era known as The Time of The Flush. Now, After the Wipe, the ancient Hoomanrace is extinct and the wobbly orb is wrecked. Oith's current denizens evolved from the lowliest of the low: the resilient roach, the indomitable worm, the everlasting snack cake - the dregs that survived. It is a time of grand adventure, bold exploration, mighty hocus-pokings, and the occasional hint of whimsical madness; a time of immense struggle, monstrous monstrosities, and remarkable happenstance where even the lowliest worm can become a Keistermeister by his own mop. Now, by popular demand and the screaming insistence of literally gazillions of clamoring fans, Mutha Oith Creations is proud to announce, in partnership with the formidable Eastern Front Studios, an entire line of (wait for it)... LOW LIFE MINIATURES! The initial set will include these NINE figures, all done in heroic 30mm scale and ridiculously perfect for all your Low Life adventures or anywhere else dark whimsy is appreciated. The minis will be cast either in high-quality resin or white pewter, depending on the level of funding received. I know everyone is a bit tapped out on Kickstarters at this point, but if you haven't seen this one, it is worth taking a look. Its a refreshing bit of creativity! Go on over to their Kickstarter page and check it out!
  19. Hello all, As you may or may not know there is a cool D&D documentary being produced: http://www.kickstart...s-a-documentary The purpose of this thread is to see if Reaper can add some sizzle to their steak (which they clearly have). It seems that Kickstarters gets alot of extra rub when another KS or non-KS pitches in with something else cool and related. What better than some of some fine fine OSR products or a historic fig? Reaper Bones backers have the S&W pdf, how about the Monster Book pdf going to the documentary backers? An adventure of Thorkie's or two? Red Tide? Realms of Crawling Chaos? Barrowmaze I? Adventures Dark & Deep recent tome? Myth & Magic Player's Journal? ACKS preview? Tome of Adventure Design Chapter II? Serl's C&C Dungeon Buillder? Random Dungeon Generator Poster pdf? Other awesome goodies that slip my mind? It would be exciting to see Reaper do a limited edition "Zagyg" figure- based on the old TSR wizard, but stoutish with glasses for the drive. Reapers molds cost >$100 for them and each fig costs ~$1 in materials in metal. Maybe the documentary should commission them Reaper! Gail Gygax seems to be on board, maybe she would grant permission to using the name Zagyg The documentary drive needs help, it is 1/4 of the way there with 10ish days to go. Check out the video clips on the drive, they are pretty cool and worth viewing. Cheers
