  1. Hey gang! Thought I'd post the Eldritch Demon I painted recently. I decided to take a departure from the iconic green flesh mythos monster look and try a more orangey-jaundice flesh tone. Also used a yellow/orange mix to highlight the cool patterns covering the skin. Also, used the MSP Adamantium Black to give the base a neat volcanic/space rock look. I did keep the tentacles a traditional pink colour. Just seemed to fit with the whole new flesh, soft and squishy, feel (like a sea creature without its shell?)... Cheers! :) -E.E.
  2. I am the Lord of Darkness. I require the solace of the shadows, and the dark of the night. Sunshine is my destroyer. All this shall change. Tonight, the sun sets forever There shall never be another dawn! -- thus begins the 1985 Fantasy movie Legend, directed by Ridley Scott and starring a very young Tom Cruise and the excellent Tim Curry. If you have not seen this movie, do so right away. A classic Fantasy, in several ways. LEGEND, Tim Curry, as the Lord of Darkness, 1985 pics beneath the click
  3. Hello Here's another video I've put up featuring another Reaper Miniature Linked for Nudity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGDB6_8FaNY Looking forward to more feedback and comments Thanks
  4. In compliance with the forum rules, you will have to actively choose to see the naked demonic female form by clicking the links: Fully frontal Demon 1 Fully frontal Demon 2 Fully frontal Demon 3 Virina, Female Demon from the first Bones kickstarter. A classic succubus-style female demon. This was a quick paint job, nothing much to say about it. She is very naked with a nicely sculpted figure. No nipples though. Come on! Even Batman has nipples on his suit! But the sex demon does not get any? 77067 Virina, Female Demon Reaper Miniatures, Bones 1 KS 2012 Sculpted by Werner Klocke Bonesium PVC. 30mm round lipped base
  5. My first post here! I thought the bones 4 ape men would make good soldiers for my growing demonic army. Still thinking of tweaking some of the smaller details and considering also painting the armored one as a barlgura. Tried to give some texture by dry brushing orange over a black base coat for fur. I also tried to dry brush around the eyes to create a deep red glowing effect. Shown with a human paladin for scale. C and c welcome but keep in mind I’m pretty new to this! The monster Manual art for reference:
  6. I recently (not really recently...) backed the new Blood Rage Digital kickstarter. I've had my eyes on the game for some time but didn't want to buy it without the plastic tokens, so when the kickstarter came along I jumped on board. While waiting for the extras I'm planning to buy the core game and get it painted. With one of the pieces being the Fire Giant I want to enhance the base with some fire effects (lava or the like). But I needed something to practice on. Balor became that something. Or the base at first. Then I just had to finish it. I had higher hopes when I started but I don't have the patience for lager miniatures, so I ended up cutting as many corners as I could. All and all it did end up better than I thought it would.
  7. I received this amazing mini from a friend as a birthday gift, so I was extra motivated to give it a lot of work. That's the Patrick Keith version, bigger than Chaz Elliot's one: a great wingspan, somber looking. I've seen several paint jobs here to get some inspiration. Many people decided to go full with the spectral theme; blue lights, blue eyes. IMO, although it looked great, the overall impression wasn't enough that of an angel of the depths made with driftwood, but something newer and too colorful for what I was thinking. So instead I went with a very dry palette: just black, brown, grey and rusty metals. I wanted to convey it as if its driftwood dried for days in the sun of some beach, just to be driven back to the seas, and to the beach again, on a neverending cycle. Worn wood, sundried, rotten, thorn; old wood, tired, greyish thanks to the salt and the wind. I couldn't capture it on the photos but the only spark of color is on its eyes: a ghoulish green reminiscent of its spectral nature. Overall it actually looks pretty basic, simpler than these other works you can find on google, but... I'm happy with the outcome. BTW lately I've been invested on my instagram account: it's only for miniature painting works. I would love if you people give me a follow, and feedback :D it's @albertnyarla
  8. One of my favourite works: freebooter miniatures succubus. Used a "slannesh" palette, mainly purple. I'm happy with the outcome. To give it a little more impact I tried a freehand on the wings. A pretty simple one, I think it looks cool, but it could be better if I dared to try to shadow/highlight it instead of using a plain color. There is more contrast on her skin & wings; here on this photo it doesn't look good because it was a pretty intense white light and it makes it all look the same... I like to name my miniatures but I wasn't feeling creative here, so I just named her Lillith... Btw lately I've been invested on my instagram account: it's only for miniature painting works. I would love if you people give me a follow, and feedback :D it's @albertnyarla
  9. Ok, I know that the figure is called 'Blood Demon' but It reminds me of the Bone Devil (Osyluth for all you real old timers out there) from a certain well known role playing game. So, that's how I painted it. Relatively quick tabletop painting, I think I spent about 2-3 hours including basing on this figure.
  10. At the center of the summoning pentagram, a short humanoid materializes in a cloud of steam. You haven’t cast any spell or summon any creature but he’s there, standing still, staring at you with his malicious eyes. Dark red skin, two feet tall, with sharp pointy horns, bat-like wings and a barbed tail. This creature is the embodiment of a devil like you pictured them according to the tales you heard in your childhood. He’s holding its tail with one hand, and lazily starts balancing the tip of it from side to side. After a moment, the fiendish imp talks to you and offer you to make a deal. With a seducing voice, he says, I can fulfill one of you wish if you accept to do me a favor... Here it is 02756, Familiar Pack IV Imp a pewter Dark Heaven Legends model. Sorry I coundn't find the name of sculptor.
  11. Oy! Long time reaper minis fan. First post! I have had this guy ready to paint for forever. Finally got around to it.
  12. This is a model by Duncan Louca, one of a set of three demons. The other two of the set are on the printer as I write this. I've printed it at 0.08mm in PLA on my Ender-3, scaled at 150% which brings it up to about 50mm tall. I added a base of my own, as the models are provided baseless.
  13. Greetings all! Presenting Cadirith, Demonic Colossal Spider. I was going for a creepy a look for her so I tried to keep the colours dark but with flashes of red "warning" colour. The base is my own creation. The WIP for this project can be found here. For the first pic, I have included Sir Forscale for...um, scale - I'm sure he'll be fine........! Various angles: Without the base: Base only: Comments are always welcome, Thanks for looking!
  14. Didn’t really turn out as well as I hoped, my lack of skill and weak facial features didn’t help. Might revisit at some point. They can’t all be winner!
  15. Here my latest work. I keep trying and trying with black: highliting black. I tried with blue for a while till I was quite happy with it, and now I’m trying with grey which is more difficult... it does show here, since it completely reads as grey skin but oh well, it’s still a job I’m happy with. That’s Be’lakor, one of the finest demon figures ever made by any manufacturer. First chaos everchosen, first mortal to ascend to demonhood, blessed and cursed, the lord of the dark...
  16. Something I painted for a friend. This is tiefling #2 of 5 so far. Hoping that before he starts the new campaign that players may pick as their characters. A short work in progress can be found on my just for fun blog/website EYEDAMAGEART Fire and Ice!
  17. These are 3 little imps/demons that I pulled off the melt table at Reapercon last year. I'm not sure of manufacturer, so if you recognize them, please let me know. I think they may be from a 15mm figure range. I bashed these guys out over he course of a couple evenings about a week ago. Thanks for looking. With (in need of a touch up) Sir Forscale:
  18. Another Clan Wars mini I got from @Jasper_the_2nd for my Nippon, Land of the Rising Moon project. This time an ONI OGRE. WIP HERE: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/ When asked for their allegiance the Oni joined forces with the murdered Toda Clan and the last survivors. Due to the family ties they swore to annihilate the Kenmu Clan for their foul deeds. In battle these Oni terrified the enemy, larger than men and wielding huge weapons they cut their way through the Kenmu ranks.
  19. Here is a little demon guy that I painted to use as a quasit for my Dungeons & Dragons campaign. I drilled and pined a set of Reaper Demonic Wings to give him a more demonic look, not to mention to give him the ability to fly. I think it was item #03182. I have never ever tried to drill and pin something so darn tiny.
  20. This is Reaper 03042, the second version of Morrdha, Vampire Noble, sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. I don't know what his story is, but both versions are casting something from a book of Up to No Good, and both have a little demon thing lurking at their feet. I loved the lively cape on this figure, and the melodrama. I decided to paint him ginger and make his armor look appallingly rusty. Oh, right, and while I did not exactly do NMM or anything, I did paint his sword with pigmented colors instead of my usual sloshing on of metallic silver. There is no WIP thread, but I would be happy to answer questions. Comments and critiques are also welcome.
  21. From the Kensei Undead KS. A Kubikajiri Demoness enjoying her dinner.. She is part of my Nippon, Land of the Rising Moon project. WIP http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/&page=2
  22. This is a vintage mini, Grenadier Dragonman Sorcerer, I got it from a BOGW a few years ago. I will use him as a Demon Officer in my Children of the Grave army, because I think he looks a bit like a classic Demon. WIP http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79298-children-of-the-grave-by-glitterwolf/&page=4 Enjoy!
  23. This is an old Grenadier Balrog that i recently rediscovered owning. I decided to go ahead and paint him up; he's only been waiting for....a while. Yeah, let's just leave it at that. No numbers... Anyway, I did my usual, hopefully decent tabletop paint job on him. I was stuck on his sword for a while; I really didn't know where to go with it. I finally decided to try to paint it up sorta resembling fire. If I'd been thinking before I started painting him, I would've tried sculpting some flames on the flat parts of the sword blade. Oh well, hindsight is always 20/20, right? I was also considering doing some OSL on him, but chickened out on that. Maybe next time... Please let me know what you think.
  24. My second converted monster from 2015 ReaperCon conversion class. I took him apart and re-sculpted all the pieces back on to make it blend better, since i'm tons better at working green stuff than i was when i took the class The greenstuff going up the tail is fur
  25. Finally finished this demon chick (Reaper 77281) to decent tabletop stadard. She had been sitting on my bench half painted a long time. Her face had a flash line on one side, so I tried to make it look like a fresh wound.
