Last of this month's work. I know said was gonna take a break for the holidays but got bored. While scrounging around my loose mini's I came across her, don't know what happened to the wraiths but decieded to paint her alone....hehe no choice without the wraiths. She always reminded me of someone and wanted no needed to due her as such as i could, so without further ado.... ....A.K.A. "the Scarlet Witch" I wanted her to be at least more sinster looking thinking about going back and giving her a purple eye shadow maybe that will help with the over all look of the face.

and the last of this month's work, pretty sure can't see another one out of me with only half a day left. I know said was gonna take a break for the holidays but got bored. I gave up my blue for that stupid hellborn skag Skarre, now what color do I choose. While looking at pirate pics for ideas I noticed alot of them were deplicted as wearing brown alot but could recall seeing any or hardly any pirate mini's painted as such, so....

Last of this month's work. I know said was gonna take a break for the holidays but got bored. When i first got her i noticed she was so danity, so skinny it felt like I was painting a 25mm. What I planned to be an easy paint job turned into any but.

I managed to make my November quota and than some, now time to relax for holidays and birthday. Now I thought it'd be fun to do some more of reaper's savage coast characters. I guess she could be consider a cleric making my third this month, yeah I know....... .....wishful thinking.

Posting last of this month, October's projects finished (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person). While scanning thru some of my old mini's this one screamed out to me, unicorn pure, paint it black hehe... the funny thing is that none of my old mini's are in blisters anymore so when I choose one I don't know the name until after I paint it and look it up for posting. That her name turned out to be Blackfire just tickled my funny bone after giving her black armor. jana....a.k.a. "The Black Unicorn" "Your party must be crazy consorting with 'the black unicorn', she's one murderous back-stabbing b*tch," the barkeep bellowed.

Posting this month, October's projects finished so far (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person). Painting at least one wizard a month is a requirement is it not? When I saw this fig I just luved the Arabian vibe I got off it.

Posting this month, October's projects finished so far (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person). "You bunch of young ums better beware the White Wolf prowling these hills and country side while out seeking lust and gold," sternly told the Barmaid to the adventurers seeking gossip which she did indeed loved to tell, but this group just rubbed her the wrong way, "the She-devil of the woods will eat you alive!" "Ahhh, quite messy with them Babs," said one of her regular patrons, "You'll have them pissing in thier pants telling your 'Witcher' stories. as you can tell from above I wanted her to have a Ciri/witcher vibe.....

Posting this month, October's projects finished so far (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person). Normally when I prep mini's I do about six or so of them at a time, this month I found myself preping a baker's dozen...ouch. O well got plenty for next month too...hehe, anyways when sorting for something to paint she caught my eye, I still can't believe how really dainty she is.

Posting this month, October's projects finished so far (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person). I chose her because I had picked out a barbarian woman I've always wanted to paint from my old mini's, and since whenever I paint caucasian flesh it's ussually fair to the pink shade, thus I wanted something with a lot of skin to try a deeper tone.

Another leftover from RVE eventually finished! The cloak was painted during Kevin Holderny's Galaxy Painting Class, now I finally managed to finish the rest. Not too happy with the blending on the white fabric, also I've painted better eyes before. In general, however, I like how the mini came out. For the orb on his stave I tried to paint a white opal. The finished product looks more like pearl to me but that's also ok. It's white-ish, shiny and mysterious, so I didn't completely miss the mark. Enjoy, c&c very welcome!

This one turned out to be a nightmare for me. Always wanted to do him in red but of course it's been done and don't like to copy others unless it's fanart and the char should be used as such in a campaign. What color's belong to a magic-using thief? And of course wasn't happy with the colors I chosen and he sat for over a week not wanting to be touched. Unfortunately he was the last to been primed in that group which meant wasn't painting, yuk hate "painter's block." In the end said just get him finished and so with hateful colors here he .....

Well just finished my quarterly 18 cave troll and since had camera out took some pics of other recent work. to me he looks like a ranger from the North and not a druid but oh well, looks aren't always what they seem.

So "Ashlyn of the Red Rovers of Triboar," what's a ranger doing in these parts, the last thing we need is another lawman. the red cloak is a very bright red I'm afraid my camera wont capture with the shading etc, u can't tell. I know a red cape is flashy but she's is a Red Rover and they specifically ask me to send Ashlyn right over....hehe childhood memories.

Here's the last one I just finished, was going again for the.... .....ordinary people....... .....look.

Here is the last figure that I had on my desk from my WIP thread. Base is not done because don't know if want her as a monster or part of a diorama (bones black Drow Queen throne with her on one side and a mind-flayer on the other....old ADnD).

Here was one that I had primed but than got put on my shelve of shame, the plan was to do a grouping of mages but it never turned out, ah now to use as a buffer for drow brain.

Finally varnished and ready for the table: Sepp, Brunhilde and Urs. I painted them up to kick off my Rangers of Shadow Deep Project. More infos and a bit of backstory can be found in this WIP. Those three are my first attempt at OSL. Luckily, I did not have to make this journey alone: I'd like to thank @Geoff Davis for a great class at RVU and an even better private lesson via zoom. Enjoy, C&C very welcome!
