These are 80's metal minis from Grenadier on a resin jungle base from microartstudios. Nice classics who are now part of my Lost World Project. They will be one of the Jungle Swarms.

These are from the Cuetzpal Kickstarter from Lost Kingdom Miniatures which I backed for a "few" lizardmen etc.. The mother of these little creatures laid her eggs in this carefully constructed nest some time ago and now the little ones are hatching. One could argue that it's a bad mother to leave her babies alone at a time like this, surely she should be there to protect them, right? Well, if you look at these little ones you can see that they have all the protection they need! Look at that armor, and that clubtail, now one could think these little herbivores to be harmless, but think again! If one should get too close to one of these little ankylodons they might use that clubtail, even at this age it's fully capable of shattering bones. Someone with a shattered leg wouldn't last long in this Jungle. It's best to leave these little ones alone! *************************

This is a project that has been on my todo list for a long time now, and on my want to do for even longer. Since painting mechs is getting a bit old, it seemed like an excellent time to get this one off my list. the plan currently is to create a Warmount for my made up Val Empire. There will of course be a Saddle, armor, with possibly a 3d printed saddle bags and holder for spare javelins for the riders use. The Rex is a toy from hobby Lobby, a tad big but, we’ll just say it’s a large Rex specimen. it’s jaw has been glued into place, and then mounted the toy to a mdf base. you can see one of my Perry Miniatures 28mm knights for scale. Very initial stages just doing some minor preliminary sculpting. A few straps for the saddle and a start on the helmet.

Another piece for my Lost World Project. ( He also send me the War Turtle as a gift, he is in the last pic) I figured I'll give it a try, would be nice to take pics of finished recruits and monsters in the right surroundings. So I made this little board out of foam, Some greenstuff and Milliput on wood to create an Aztec Style Dungeon Door, I made the glyphs using a Greenstuffworld Rolling Pin. Vegetation made with a little plastic plant from a thrift store, Aztec Ruins from Greenstuffworld and lots of moss/flock and such which were a gift from the awesome @knarthex. Hope you enjoy it I have taken pics of my Lost World minis in this background and they can be seen in my Lost World Project. A few teasers are in here. Nothing too complicated, I kept it simple because it is "just" a backdrop. I had fun making it. Maybe I will make another one with an Undead/Gothic theme one day too. Well here it is.
