  1. I have had some requests about Brutus pics. So I figured I would put some here. Feel free to show pics of you pets!
  2. Presenting Mecha Toto, the fifth and final member of the Oz gang from Twisted by Demented Games. Kinda wish he'd been a bit furrier as all the armour plates came out a bit bland. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received. Bonus piccy:- They're off to see the wizard...
  3. I started a challenge so naturally I couldn't stay behind myself. Meet Agent Anthrax, my first 3D print now painted for the challenge. I figured he also deserved his own Show Off. Challenge: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/91144-painting-the-pandemic-challenge-by-glitterwolf/ WIP https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/91379-survivor-dog-by-glitterwolf/
  4. For my Pandemic Challenge I decided to paint this nice doggo with gasmask. It was the first mini that I printed with my Elegoo Mars Resin Printer. I'm giving him a spare resin base I had lying around. Started with Reaper Grey Liner. The Reaper liners are excellent primers for Bones , but also for Resin!!
  5. Sis and I painted two sets of these inbetween other stuff. Hope you like them!
  6. Howdy, His bite is worse than his bark... Kev!
  7. Painted this for a friend's group. Their party acquired a dog they love so much that they spent all their gold to armor him up. He now has the highest AC in the party.
  8. Sir Guinemar the Righteous takes his loyal pooch Worral with him on all his adventures. Worral is a good companion, a devoted friend and useful for catching rabbits. He wears a jaunty hat with a feather in it because Sir Guinemar discovered that it makes his doggo an absolute babe magnet. After years of searching, Sir Guinemar finally found the legendary lost treasure of Lord Nicholai Brevil, reputedly the wealthiest man in the five kingdoms, in the ruins of Aeckland Castle. After giving a quick prayer of thanks, Sir Guinemar heard a noise somewhere in the dungeon and went to check it
  9. I got this old GW Mordheim Witchhunter Wardog from a BOGW, he came primed black. Decided to paint him as an Akita so he could be included in my Nippon Project as Mariko's companion. WIP here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/&page=10&tab=comments#comment-1829755 Here he is and in the last pic he's shown with his friend Mariko.
  10. I finished this little chap recently. The flat stones in the base are sculpted by myself, I was going for a old temple floor which nature has started to claim back type look. Some other views: I really love this sculpt! C & C's always welcome!
  11. These are the dread wolves from the cemetery set in Bones 3. I think I might work on the rest of the cemetery set this week. I need to work on Count Lorenth of the Reaper Facebook Quarterly Contest too! Anyway, these creepy wolves have seen better days. I'm not sure if they are undead or only mostly dead (bonus points if you get the reference) but I painted them up so that I think they will work either way. Adventurers will certainly get a nasty disease if they are bitten or scratched by one of these guys! I painted these in my push to paint all of the toothy fluffs in my "hoard of
  12. My most recently complete project is the lovely ladies of Oathsworn Miniature's "Heroines in Sensible Shoes 3" Kickstarter. As always, they are a joy to paint. They have nice, bold details but without being overwrought. They definitely look like a bunch of starting adventurers! The theme this time was more exotic races, notably a bunch from "Volo's Guide to Monsters" The ladies ascend the mountain: The Kitsune. She could be a lightly armored Fighter, a Rogue, or a Ranger. The Kenku (or Tengu) Shaman. Or Wizard. Or Sorcerer. Or whatev
  13. In a recent one-day run through Ravenloft, I played a halfling paladin who rode a war dog. He was so fun to play that I have to make minis for them. Here is the start of Garr.
  14. This lovely Boxer Dog Bust is sculpted by Anastasiya Podorozhna. I painted him like my own Boxer. WIP here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/77676-brutus-boxer-bust-by-glitterwolf/& Here is Brutus:
  15. I bought this wonderful bust of a Boxer Dog a while ago, I immediately knew I would paint it up as my Boxer Brutus. So here we go.
  16. So, I'm getting close to finishing up this Project. Also, my olde thread for this was from before the Great PhotoBucket Fiasco. So I'm redoing this thread using my new Imgur account! Behold my Bad Paint Jobs and Despair!! Or Not;) First up the Ani-Pals! Dog I Dog III Dog IV Bare the Bear Companion Dawg the Ranger, "Leader" of the Ani-Pals! Sting the Pixie Rogue! Salle Goblin Sorceress! Kildrick the Dwarven Cleric! Gonna post
  17. Presenting Bill Sykes (and Bullseye!), leader of the Dickensian faction from the game Twisted. Going back to painting true-scale minis, and rather detailed ones at that, proved harder than I thought it would, but I think I did a decent job. I just wish my varnish hadn't left Bills coat so shiny. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  18. As a little present for my youngest stepdaughter I painted this Zombicide Survivor Dog as our Boxer Brutus. Nothing too fancy. But he looks like the real thing just enough to convince people. No Boxers were harmed in the process.
  19. Howdy, A couple from the bones 3 core set... Kev!
  20. I bought the Steampunk Wizard of Oz set for my daughter out of the Bones 3 KS. Naturally, I am doing it last minute for her birthday Tuesday, the 18th. So, here's the plan: A. Assemble them all on unfinished but sealed silver maple wood cuts using usual building materials. B. Basecoat them with simple but muted colors. C. Apply Sepia Wash and paint as needed to simulate a "colorized movie" look. Here's what we got so far: Dorothy and Toto on a Compass Rose beginning their adventure. The wit
  21. Just finished my first Bones 3 mini paint job from the core set - the Death Dog! I actually managed to finish it in an afternoon (which is pretty quick compared to my usual glacial speed). Thanks for looking!
  22. I got back to my Bones figures from the Kickstarter. The wolf familiar looks more like a dog to me. So I painted him to look like my wife's dog.
  23. "What's that boy? You smell something? Oh...........I think that's me! I had great fun painting these two, especially the dog. I was originally going to paint the guy up as a cop but I settled on a regular Joe. The fallen fence is made from a matchstick cut into quarters with a length of 0.6mm copper wire threaded through some drilled holes. Here's some more pics: Thanks for looking! C & C's always welcome!
  24. This is a set of minis I did for a Yaktribe thing. The girl is from Copplestone Castings. Babes with Guns. The male is a ganger from Moonraker miniatures. And the dog is a Horror Hound from the Harwood Hobbies Sinbad line.: Closeups: The pipes in the background are made from some plastic tubes from the local hobby store.
  25. I painted up the Bones 2 Mountain Troll, and also recently did speed paints of two Mega MIniatures dog miniatures since one of the players in my D&D game seems to like using Summon Nature's Ally spells to summon dogs to help, and I wanted to have a couple of them painted for our next game.
