These scenery bits are from the Bones 2 and 4 kickstarters respectively. I did them quick in my go-to rock paint scheme. An uneven coat of dark greengrey over a solid black undercoat, followed by a heavy drybrush with a sandy yellow, and finished with a lighter drybrush of offwhite. Quick and easy! The colours give a much more satisfying rock finish than just using the typical monochrome greys. Too bad the colours are not really showing properly up in the photos. On each end are the Pillars of Good and Evil from Bones 2, the rest is the subset "Grave Things" from the Bones 4 core set. The Pillar of Evil to the left, the Pillar of Good to the right. They are made in the older Bonesium PVC material, and as you can see it shows. No amount of the hot water trick is going to correct that warped listing there. I have not seen the metal versions so I cannot compare them with the Bones or even say that the metal ones do no list in the same way (though I doubt that they do.) I would have thought it be more fitting if these came as a pair of each and not just one of each, but there we are. Listing again! I was unsuccessful in trying to unbend the batty one as it bent back over time. Should have left it longer in the hot water. Oh well. Again, they should have come in a pairs of each. It seems Bones really is not the best material for boxes with square corners and all that...must be that corrupting influence of the Warp. This one is OK and untainted by the warp though. The loose books are a nice touch. Tiny glyphs and imaginary writing that looks much better (and way more impressive) when not magnified, as does most of my painting. The page is actually about 10mm wide. Here are a couple of pieces of dungeon terrain I've been working on: a couple of fountains, a well, some statues, and just a few boulders to sprinkle around the D&D battlefield. Everything is from Thomarillion, expect the rocks which were handpicked in ye olde Swedish garden. The smaller fountain (with the dragon head) is filled with Realistic Water, but I ran out of the stuff and didn't have to fill also the big square pool. That will be done eventually though. Oh, and I magnetized all the statues and gargoyles to be able to mix and match for different styles. Here are my Oathsworn ruined walls, from their first Burrows & Badgers kickstarter. They were sculpted by the excellent Jo. The details she put into these are fantastic My favorite is the oven wall. Because it's an oven! Instead of making grey stone bricks I decided to go for tan, as though they were made from sandstone. I also resisted the urge to add plants, sand, dirt, or any other basing materials, because they're going to be used for gaming, so they need to work in any environment situation. I'm not really pleased with the way the final wash of brown over the plaster bits turned out, but not displeased with it enough to want to paint it over again. I finished it, I don't belong in House Procrastius! Here's the oven wall, with the large straight wall. I tried to paint the inside of the oven as though it had ash and burn stains on the stones. And here's all of them on a grid, with Sir Forscale guarding the room.

This barrel (keg, really) was briefly used to hold a halfling during the Pathfinder Society scenario God's Market Gamble. Those of you who have played or run it can probably imagine the hijinks that ensued. Beyond that, it's a barrel. Took me about 5 minutes, I think. Something like that.

Some dungeon decor. Dungeon decor is fun, relaxing, no stress painting. I lurve it. 1st attempt at marble (this year), 1st gem (last year) 1st verdigras (this year). I don't think you can see it in the pictures but the pillow and inside of the sarcophagus are done with some pearl white mixed it. Looks good in hand.
