  1. Hello All, Here are photos of 07038 Bones USA Dungeon Dwellers "Wolf Pack" of 3 Wolves I completed last month. Thank you for looking.
  2. I always like a mini that’s fun to paint, makes me motivated to work on the stash of the ‘unpainted’. I tried to keep to the hyena color scheme I feel Gnolls resemble.
  3. Ain't no party like a troll life party, 'cuz troll life regenerates! The more I look at these guys, the more I see them as an adventuring party...Rogue, Warrior, Barbarian, and Warlock. So much green. So much skin. The "rogue" (caught mid-backstab, just missing a victim in front of him) was one of the roughest. I didn't quite get enough difference between the Jade Green and the mix to bring out the highlights. He looks almost "cell shaded" because of that. I'm not sure if those spots on the side of his mouth were supposed to be tusks or jowls, but I painted them as tusks. The "warrior" probably could have used a bit of Grass Green mixed in with the Jade. The transition is a little more stark than I would prefer. I don't think there's much to say about the "barbarian" and "warlock." I used Black Green as the base, and there may not have been quite enough difference between that and the Forest Green. And, of course, I just noticed that I missed the barbarians belt decoration on his left side. I'll have to hit that with some metallics the next time I'm working--a two-minute fix. The Warlock's eyes are Fire Orange, Marigold Yellow, and Sun Yellow to give that "otherworldly"/"possessed" feel. I think the bases all came out well. I'm very grateful that Reaper has been experimenting with molded bases. It really helps tie them all together. Total time spent is about 12 hours done over four nights. Pretty good considering that when I started, I was sure that I had forgotten how to paint. I honestly had moments where I felt truly lost. Thanks for stopping by!
  4. Hello All, Here re photos of a 07066 Bones Dungeon Dwellers "Thess Ironfaith, Female Cleric" miniature I completed a few weeks ago. Thank you for looking.
  5. I usually keep my armor/metal on the cold side, this was my attempt at a warm tone.
  6. Hello All, Here is a 07068 Bones USA Dungeon Dwellers "Landol Griswold, Human Wizard" I completed a few days ago. Thank you for looking.
  7. Hey everyone, here's Lanaerel Grayleaf the wood elf. This Dungeon Dwellers model was sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  8. Hey everyone, here's an heavy armored fellow ready for adventure. 07011, Borin Ironbrow the Dwarf Adventurer was sculpted by Bobby Jackson. He was initialy part of the Dungeon Dwellers line. Hopefully, he will make the jump and eventually be integrated into the Bones USA line.
  9. Hello all you denizens of Reapershire! So been working a little bit more on some Bones V goodness, and today I finished the Female Halfling from the Dungeon Dwellers set: As always, couldn't choose colors, but once I got the colors figured out, it was pretty smooth sailing from there. I have a little bit of flash issues, it seems that plastic flash works a bit differently than metal. I am seemingly merciless with metal flash, but too cautious with the Bones material, but I don't know if that can be noticed or not here. In any case, enjoy and have a very nice weekend!
  10. Hello everyone, here are pictures of SantOrc Claus 07007, Orc Warrior of the Ragged Wound Tribe. This Dungeon Dwellers model was sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  11. This was a relatively quick (for me) paint job, experimenting with a very limited pallette. It was intended for an encounter in my Ruins of the Grendleroot 5e campaign, but we're having to play online due to the lockdown. I'm sure I can find a use for it in the future though...
  12. I'm really happy with the faces and the flesh on these little rascals. They also make me one step closer to having the whole 2018 Dungeon Dweller set painted, which is something that I hope to achieve someday, lol.
  13. Hi everyone, here's 07002, Baran Blacktree, Veteran Warrior sculpted by Bobby Jackson. I painted it with Reaper’s MSP acrylics and shaded with Citadel inks. Also, I use Vallejo Acrylic Matt Varnish for the first time on this model. I like that varnish, it's perfectly flat and don't add any artificial reflection. I 3d printed the base to match with the tiles on the diorama it will eventually be displayed on.
  14. Hello forum family, wanna share with you my last mini painted (I'm so lazy in this time of the year...). I have two figure of Luwin, so I decided to paint it again, this time in more natural colors. It took me a good 10 hours to place the OSL, as he is plenty of details and it was no easy to figure out where to place the shadows, but anyway I'm pretty happy of the result :) Hope you'll like him too. As always every C&C is more than welcome, help me see what I can't see :) Thanks for watching
  15. Hello forum family, wanna show you my last work: Sister Hazel. Was aiming to a realistic look, she came out cartoonish (as always)... Had some problems painting the bottles and had to paint it twice cause at first I've inverted the shadows and it looked like Windows XP desktop image -.- Still no good, but at least it look like bottles Same problem with the googles. I'm happy with the blood splat and the dirty look, that's probably the only part I'm happy with. Anyway: Every advise is suuuuper welcome (please!)
  16. Really like this figure, in particular after they showed it being 3d sculpted on Reaper Live. Simple 'goody' paint job. Will add some snow texture to base to use him in Frost eave.
  17. "I need a swig of some strong, Dwarven ale!" -Baldur's Gate Jalarak Leadbarrels, stepping out of the Firendly Arm Inn, bringing the next round to his waiting adventuring party. (1368 DR, Colorized) (Ignore the water spots on my backdrop. I have cats and they knock things over and don't tell me about it. I have to find out later, for myself.)
  18. It isn’t the full moon but it's wererat weekend anyways. Here's Bertar the Rogue dragging his loot back to the lair of the thief’s guild. Here's Bertar the Wererat 07016 sculpted by Ben Siens. Painted up with Reaper's MSP acrylic paint and mounted on a 25mm round base. This mini is part of a three model set from the Dungeon Dwellers line.
  19. Hi everyone, here's the second wererat from the Dungeon Dwellers 07016 wererats pack. Cuz, it's a wererat weekend! This feral rogue model was sculpted by Ben Siens. I painted it up with Reaper's MSP acrylic paint and mounted on a 25mm round base.
  20. Good day everyone, In the wait of playing Scourge of the Howling Horde adventure, I recently painted these two nuisances. Inspired by Anne Foerster work displayed in Reaper's Online Store, I went with the classical orangish skin tone and dark leather color. I also added war paints on their face and limbs. 07003 Dungeon Dwellers Bloodbite Goblins sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  21. I recently finished painting Borin Ironbrow! I started out just wanting to paint a simple dwarf. I recently discovered and really liked the blue/green color of the cloak so that's where I started. I then did most of the cloak and NMM and then got to the shield and I didn't know what to do. Someone suggested painting it copper/bronze/... so I thought why not do SENMM copper!?!? This is the result! I hope you like it!
  22. I wish my phone camera could get better photos of this mini, but the contrast is so wide that it just doesn't want to cooperate. I wanted to practice some OSL, and I chose violet. I also wanted to try building a different kind of base, and the wraith seemed like it would look at home in a bog. I think the back turned out better than the front. I may go back and deepen some of the front shadows at some point. Tips on OSL and other things are welcome!
  23. Still working on NMM. This was a really fun dude to paint. The Dungeon Dwellers are so cool. I really cant express enough just how much I like them!
  24. I never know when my minis are done but here are the two fighters from the Dungeon Dwellers line, painted as a pair. Am using more and more Scale 75 paints, most of these colours are from their fantasy line with Army Painter washes.
  25. Hello all, this is the last mini I've painted. Very nice sculpt, every single detail is there, even if my poor, old, eyes can't reconize it Trying to achieve a realistic look, she came out a little meh! IMO; it lack contrast, probably cause too brownish, but I was aiming a natural appereance, and choose to don't add too many colors. Anyway i'm happy the way she came out in the end. Hope you'll like her too Thank you for reading :)
