Showcasing more old-paintjobs from one of my former adventuring parties. This time we look at Willow the Eladrin Warlock, represented by Feiya, Iconic Witch. I enjoyed playing with colors with her, though in retrospect, I wish I had used some more magentas and purples. I believe the leaves on the base were painted oregano. Reverse side under the spoiler: Willow is an Eladrin of the Feywild. When her world started to freeze over, she was sent by her patron to cross over into the material world and discover the source of the cold. A stranger to Frostrun and an outsider to this World, Willow must rely on her new friends to help her save her own realm. Check out the rest of the Frostrun project HERE.

I'm wanting to do a Bones conversion and was hoping to get some advise here. In my world there's four main camps of "Outsiders". Angels/Archons (lg), Azata/Eladrin/Fey (cg), Demons (ce), and Devils (le). Once Bone 3 is released three of the four camps will have a top end representation (CR 20+). So with that in mind what I want to do is convert a mini to be a Azata/Eladrin/Fey counterpart to the Balor, Pit Fiend, and Solar Angel. All three existing "outer lords" are large sized and winged. So I want something along those lines. As all the existing lords are male I'd like this conversion to be a female. The only female Bones mini of comparable size seems to be the Cloud Giant (77162)? So how would one go about making her into a Queen of the Fey? Are there any other large Bones females that I'm missing? The first problem I see is were to get wings and how to attach them. So that she has her own style I'd like to give her large butterfly wings (Angels = avian wings, Devils = bat-like wings, Demons = a mix of styles, Fey = insectile wings). I'm not sure what to use though. Assuming I find something fitting how should I then attach them? The Cloud Giant has a lot of hair down her back that would get in the way. If I use the Cloud Giant, the next problem I see is her weapon. A big club doesn't really seem fitting. What could I use to replace the club and how would I go about that? Lastly she's a bit more scantily clad then what I feel is fitting for this concept. How hard would it be to sculpt a skirt around her legs with "green stuff"? Would "green stuff" even be the appropriate thing to use for something like that? I know this is a lot of trouble to go through but I don't see any other way of getting what I "need". As there is no particularly well known large Azata/Eladrin/Fey lord type in D&D or Pathfinder it's unlikely Reaper will ever make this sort of model. Any thoughts or comments would be much appreciated. :)

Hello everybody! I've been considering my collection of Outsiders, for D&D/Pathfinder. I'm keeping things simple and just doing four main groupings. Combined Angels/Archons (LG), Azata/Eladrin/Fey (CG), Demons (CE), and Devils (LE). I was hoping to get your thoughts/general input on filling the blank slots I've got. Demons are pretty easy as there's a plethora in every edition and in mini form. Type 0 (CR 7ish): Succubus (77067) Type 1 (CR 8-9): Vrock (77262) Type 2 (CR10-11): Hezrou (77377) Type 3 (CR 12-13): Glabrezu (77307) Type 4 (CR 14-15): Nalfeshnee (77308) Type 5 (CR 16-17): Marilith (77393) Type 6 (CR 20+): Balor (77315) Devils are also pretty straight forward. I'm hoping the missing ones will come out in Bones 3. Type 0 (CR 7ish): Erinyes (77281 or 77370) Type 1 (CR 8-9): Bone Devil (77325) Type 2 (CR10-11): Barbed Devil (?) Type 3 (CR 12-13): Ice Devil (77324) Type 4 (CR 14-15): ??? (?) Type 5 (CR 16-17): Horned Devil (?) Type 6 (CR 20+): Pit Fiend (77112) Angels are pretty well covered in mechanically but not in miniature form. Type 0 (CR 7ish) ??? (77364?) Type 1 (CR 8-9): ??? (?) Type 2 (CR10-11): Movanic Deva (?) Type 3 (CR 12-13): Monadic Deva (?) Type 4 (CR 14-15): Astral Deva (?) Type 5 (CR 16-17): Planetar (77363) Type 6 (CR 20+): Solar (?) Azata/Eladrin/Fey is where I'm having a hard time coming up with anything. Type 0 (CR 7ish): "Sylph" (77266) Type 1 (CR 8-9): upgraded Lillend? (?) Type 2 (CR10-11): ??? (?) Type 3 (CR 12-13): Ghaele (?) Type 4 (CR 14-15): ??? (?) Type 5 (CR 16-17): ??? (?) Type 6 (CR 20+): ??? (?) I could possibly work in the Horned Hunter (89033) and Spirit of the Forest (77184) somehow. Would also be up for using the Cloud Giant (77162) and Storm Giant (77179) as they don't really fit with the rest of the giants in my world setting. Sort of as "titans" maybe? *shrugs*

I was asked to do up some minis for a wedding gift. That is to say, someone else will be giving them as a gift at a wedding. I suppose technically this is my first paid commission. The minis are the soon-to-be-wed couples' D&D characters. They've never had proper minis for their game before, and aren't expecting these. There were a couple of requests. Firstly, the gift-giver did not like Lysette's sword. This was replaced by a spell effect, which felt a little rushed, but does the job and inspired one of the vignette ideas. Also, the barbarian, though illiterate, keeps a journal, hoping that eventually it might help him learn to read and write. He just scribbles in a book. It was asked that I include he book. Lysette: (I'm not sure what's going on with her hair. It's got 4 rather distinct layers, which show up quite well in person.) Barbarian: I've also constructed 2 large bases for display when thi minis aren't in use. The first is called "Burnin' Love", and the idea is that the Lysette character has burnt a heart into the cliff side in front of them. The larger "I've Got a Bad Feeling About This" features skeletons emerging from the swamp to attack our intrepid adventurers: Thanks for looking! Edit to add: Yes, the minis are a little on the shiny side. I've hit them with the dullcote 3 times now, and this is apparently the best I'm going to get. Unfortunate, but they ARE gaming minis first, so they did need that first coat of gloss.
