She is pretty scary looking. Super-bad quality pics - I just shot a few this morning as I was finishing. This miniature is very small, so it was very difficult for me to get in and do the details very well. As a canvas though, she's a nice model to try. There are a few spots I need to touch up as I look at these again... EDIT: Oh yeah - the eyes. I usually start wide around them and after doing the pupils and stuff in the eye (she does have blue eyes, but my camera can't pick them up) I clean up around them. This looks Neato! to the eye though, so I left it alone. EDIT EDIT: I thought I'd try to get some better pics.... turns out, she just needs a lot of work! I'll probably put her aside though and call her finished. For awhile. I'm pretty stubborn.
This is Reaper's Elise the Witch. SKU. 02863 ( Metal Figure) Once she was part of a big Halloween Diorama but that didn't survive the move. I was able to save the minis though. I rebased her, gave her some highlights/ repainted parts. She's back in action now, ready to turn you into a frog or a willing servant. Part of my Undead/Demon/Witchhunters Project https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79298-children-of-the-night-by-glitterwolf/
I started this as a Halloween project. Things got in the way and now it is an autumn piece. Any way I had fun. I bought a ceramic Pumpkin, converted it into a house. Reaper's Elise Witch http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/elise/latest/02869And Freebooter's Chaos Witch both sculpted by Werner Klocke are conjuring pumpkins. These are now wandering off into the world to cause mayhem, The pumpkins are part Ristul's Market and I used the Owl on a Pumpkin from the Reaper Halloween Familiars http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Special%20Edition%20Figures/sku-down/01548 And I added the great Halloween Tree from Reaper: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/halloween/sku-down/03692 Hope you like it. Some Pumpkins are a bit in the ground, so they are emerging.
I've been working on an entry for the Halloween contest the last month or so, and I had a crazy idea to hand-make an iron fence out of some aluminium. You can see some w.i.p. shots in my thread here: http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/49097-cassus-many-wips/page-8 Although the material was a little fragile, my Bones Bat was still light enough to be supported on-top there which I was impressed by. (Hooray for Bones!) I apologize for the out-of-focus parts in these photos, I fail at camera - even when given advice. I think when I can afford it I need to go out and buy myself a camera with a better lens and one I can actually learn to use properly. Any way, enough sulking about my lack of photography skills. Happy Halloween everyone!
