  1. I painted this little guy up on a whim a while back. He doesn't have much going on from the front, but there's a ton of cool mushroom detail sculpted into his back.
  2. Hey everyone, here's 02221, Morrdha the Vampire Wizard and his imp familiar. This Dark Heaven Legends model was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
  3. First Reaper minis I've painted! Pretty proud of how the spider turned out! I tried to get an iridescent look on the crow, but I couldn't quite figure it out 😅 Constructive critiques welcome!
  4. Howdy, What a wonderful smell you've discovered... Le Pew, Kev!
  5. Howdy, Scavenge to your hearts content... Kev!
  6. I love painting these dice people! Painted the wizard to be an unpainted die, and the familiar as a die made of ivory (bone.) I now have these joining the gang, and only two left to paint. :D
  7. Howdy, Wow. tiny... Kev!
  8. This little guy was a freebie from Bombshell Miniatures given out at Reapercon 2019. He is also available on their website. I put him on a jungle base from Microarts. Tried for some dark blue/grey coloration, wasn't happy with it, tried some green washes, but he kept turning blue again. Brushed a little green metallic on and he turned silver, did the green wash again with a different brand. Decided I had messed around with it long enough. In the background is a 3-d printed stone bridge my husband made for me. Tabletop drybrush in shades of brown over a black base coat.
  9. This one of the results from the Bones Conversion class at Reapercon 2019. I used the grave marker off the end of the weapon wielded by the colossal skeleton, carved a bit and repositioned. The fairy is party of the familiar pack. Fairly simple mash-up, but makes a nice seasonal piece for display.
  10. Howdy, I can't weasel my way out... It's a Stoat, Kev! P.S. This really IS from day 1
  11. Good day everyone, here is a Bear Rider Command (Bear only) that was produced by Grenadier in 1995. My friend had this miniature for a long time and the original Standard bearer Dwarf rider was nowhere to be found. This model was sculpted by Sandra Garrity and Reaper have an alternate version of it under the name 02294, Thorondil of Kragmarr.
  12. Howdy, Foxy the wolf, or wolfie the fox? Those grapes were probably sour anyway, Kev!
  13. Good friday everyone. It's the second time I paint this model. I got it from a friend after painting the first one, it's such a nice and fun model to paint, I decided it was now time to lay some color on it. I use this guy as a NPC in the DnD games I'm hosting. See the last pictures for comparison. I realise now that the familiar neck is bended bad, it looks like it's grooming its scales. So here it is, 02700, Tox the Wizard sculpted by Sandy Garrity.
  14. Howdy, Quite large for a snail... A wise old snail, Kev!
  15. Howdy, Tiny, so tiny... She slither down, Kev!
  16. Howdy, Who's swoopin' down to scratch a poor mouseling... Kev! P.S. Everyone knows it's Windy
  17. Hi everyone! Here's my latest and last Reaper Miniatures Bonesylvanian from the class of 2015. 01575, Olive the Vampire and Martini her Bat Familiar. This Metal exclusive model was sculpted by Gene Van Horne for Reaper Artist Conference 2015.
  18. This is a fairly small Bones wolf from the Reaper set 77176: Familiars. I'm not sure who sculpted the wolf, but it is tiny. Here is an unpainted size comparison. The Bones wolf is second from the left, between a pewter Reaper wolf from the set 02830: Wolf Pack (3) and 03682: Willow Greenivy. A couple of wargs, one from Thunderbolt Mountain and one from RAFM, complete the size comparisons. Anyhow, here is the little critter. It is so small it hasn't got separate legs; I painted black between them. WIP thread here, with full details on all color mixes and techniques.
  19. For your consideration, I offer Nolevniss Azrinae: Reaper Miniature 60162. Or in this Multiverse: Elariel Moonshadow This elf Magi was an active sculpt to paint. The robes and cloak are dynamic in portrayal of wind movement and direction. The robes were long and laying folded in back, which suggests weight and volume. Limited palette with work on suggesting different textures of cloth. Teeny eyes. Delicate sculpt too with the hair and features. And the familiar was an enjoyable if not surreal sculpt. I was told by the person who wanted this painted, "And paint the baby dragon gold." When I popped my Opti-visor on I was like, "That's not a dragon..." This creature reminded me of the haemonculus familiar from earlier Dungeons and Dragons editions, while the head reminded me of an eye-less vampire bat. What you see is the result. Cute. (But you don't want to be left alone in the same room with it.) The staff is a weapon of Power - like Purple Name power. Spell book and scrolls along with bandolier pouches told me a story of a travelling Mage - even his staff clutched a simple stone at the foot to act as counterweight. But not a nice guy. I hope you enjoy him. :) Peace and blessings.
