I decided that my (admittedly small) collection of figs was starting to need a feminine element. I grabbed this gal from my stash and started another project to help distract me from my other projects. I also chose her because I am trying to learn my NMM and she's got a fair amount of armor. So far I have only done a few Barbarian males, so I am trying hard to be considerably "softer" with her skin tones. Her face is the also the only skin on this fig so I am trying to give it a lot of attention as I know it will be where the eye goes first (no pun intended). Hmmm, this is a phone came
Last night I did a quick paint of a couple of minis while my wife painted a paint-by-numbers. I did a little bit of extra work this morning, and had some equipment malfunctions that damaged the minimal face I did paint. She's stopped painting and now we're watching Brooklyn 99 while she does some embroidery. There may also be Scotch (Bruchladdich) involved later, providing further reason to stop.
Well I am leaving for the rest of the month tomorrow, but started on making a custom mini for my daughter who has a flail wielding paladin and a warhorse. I had a lot of trouble finding good female paladins so I figured I could use Bones to make one. This is about how much progress I can make since I am leaving, I will continue work in July. Also I gave the gnoll the flaming sword for giggles!
