  1. A friend (who loves pirate miniatures) asked me to paint this figure (but without the wings & parrot); so I added a wine bottle and did her as a standard female pirate figure.
  2. This is a figure I painted for myself (what I consider small figures that Ral Partha produced). I am also currently working on other such small female figures from the (Elmore - Silver & Steel) sets. I love these tiny versions!
  3. This is one of the female figures in my collection (that I painted for myself); I love the whole "steampunk" sort of look and the figure was a darling one to paint.
  4. This was a commission painting I did for a friend. He wanted a modern " hot " looking witch that was still in the fantasy theme. I had fun and really enjoyed painting this miniature. I hope the viewers like it.
  5. Not my first mini painted, but the first one I'm willing to share, as many of the earlier ones weren't up to my standards. I only bought this mini to practice on, buy it's inspired me to play an archer paladin as my next PFS character. I didn't even try to detail the eyes. I just don't seem to be able to work at that fine a level of detail. Does anyone have hints for traning may hands to work on really tiny details?
  6. Given the problems I had with painting black on Tiviel, and how much I like black, I figured I would try to get better at painting it. The Cleric of Calistria was already primed, between her "official" color scheme being mostly black and looking more like a rogue than a cleric, I decided to do her next. I did the eyes first, getting something that I liked on the 3rd try. I don't think my camera is physically capable of getting a good picture of the face, but I attached the best one I could get. I knew that I didn't want to paint her armor and hair pure black, and I also wanted them t
  7. I am looking for a 28mm scale female guyver mini. Or something that would work for that. It could even be a male one, I've done gender changes. Does anyone know where I can find a guyver-like mini?
  8. I am quite the amatuer when it comes to painting minis. However, I find it a lot of relaxing fun. My D&D group is only halfway (?) through the original full DragonLance modules, so we need a lot of minis for all of the characters! The problem I run in to is finding a mini that best suits the character. Case in point was finding a female dwarven monk for my new character Ulfa. I couldn't find anyone without big weapons! I came across "03363: Dannin Deepaxe, Female Dwarf" and decided to try my hand at modification. I removed the axe and shield and tried to reform the hands. Not the b
  9. Just began painting minis since Gen Con. Really proud of this one and would appreciate some constructive feedback so I can improve. Thanks!
  10. My favorite character, my cleric of Sarenrae. Being a cleric of the "Dawnflower," I always imagined her in oranges and reds and yellows. The painted fig from Pathfinder just didn't jibe with my mental image of her. This is one of my first painted figs. Please offer constructive feedback so I can improve.
