Given the problems I had with painting black on Tiviel, and how much I like black, I figured I would try to get better at painting it. The Cleric of Calistria was already primed, between her "official" color scheme being mostly black and looking more like a rogue than a cleric, I decided to do her next. I did the eyes first, getting something that I liked on the 3rd try. I don't think my camera is physically capable of getting a good picture of the face, but I attached the best one I could get. I am looking for a 28mm scale female guyver mini. Or something that would work for that. It could even be a male one, I've done gender changes. Does anyone know where I can find a guyver-like mini?

I am quite the amatuer when it comes to painting minis. However, I find it a lot of relaxing fun. My D&D group is only halfway (?) through the original full DragonLance modules, so we need a lot of minis for all of the characters! The problem I run in to is finding a mini that best suits the character. Case in point was finding a female dwarven monk for my new character Ulfa. I couldn't find anyone without big weapons! I came across "03363: Dannin Deepaxe, Female Dwarf" and decided to try my hand at modification. I removed the axe and shield and tried to reform the hands. Not the b

My favorite character, my cleric of Sarenrae. Being a cleric of the "Dawnflower," I always imagined her in oranges and reds and yellows. The painted fig from Pathfinder just didn't jibe with my mental image of her. This is one of my first painted figs. Please offer constructive feedback so I can improve.
