I will paint and create a Reptilian Army pure for fun. It will consists of many different kind of Reptiles and Amphibians. Mostly Snakemen, Lizardmen, Frogmen, Dragonmen, Turtlemen, Fishmen, Dinosaurs and Insects. I will happily include any monster I think will fit. A Tarrasque will be the centrepiece at some sort as the Living Lizard God. I do not play any games, so this will be pure for my own and (I hope your) fun to create. EDIT: The above was my original plan, over time and thanks to the comments made by other Forumites, this has developed into a story. This resulted in more Factions I wanted to build and paint, so this Project now also includes Pirates, Conquistadores, Native Warriors based on Inca/Aztec/Maya cultures. EDIT: And now it will also include Undead! *********** Captain Luigiano and his army had been travelling through the jungle for weeks now. The sunlight was blocked by the dense canopy of trees. Some of the men had contracted fever, and those darn mosquitos were a big nuisance! He looked at the golden plaque he had obtained. Gold, with a snakeman made out of gems on it. With this he had convinced the men to follow him. Somewhere in this accursed jungle there was a city made of gold, he was sure of it. They would conquer this city and become rich beyond belief. He looked at his army, they even had a few cannons. Nothing would stop them! Finally they reached a clearance. The men were pleased, at least they could see the sun again. They took a rest and a drink, tended to the sick. Suddenly they heard a loud roar from the other side of the clearing. Birds flew away, trees where falling! Some poison darts flew and two soldiers fell, they died before they hit the ground. A loud roar and an enormous terrifying Lizard appeared. One soldier died out of fear from just looking at it. Then the Reptilian Horde emerged from the Jungle. **************************

This is 3D file from Gloomykid. It is called a Naga and comes in two versions one is a snake version ( the Naga) the other has fins and I decided to go for that one. Can't make Deep One hybrids without Deep Ones; that just stands to reason. Got these fishy Bones fellas before the Bones Deep Ones came out. Probably overdid the metallics, and will probably do so again. 77215, Eregris Darkfathom I painted up first; did not notice it's a cultist in a fish suit; thought the face was part of the mouth. I do like the flowing robes and the coral scabbard. 77187, the Tiik Champion, is a delight. Huge and hunched-over, with a Dunkleosteus profile, truly a terrifying beast from an elder era. 77186, the Tiik Warrior, I'm pretty pleased with. 77212, the Baron, I should probably revisit and put some shiny razzamatazz on his fins one of these days. There's one more fishy friend I need to post, but for reasons probably more aesthetic than biological, she is NSFW and will need to be linked.

When you want fish men on the table you can never have too many of them. Here are two more tiik warriors, with spawn in tow, and a champion. I painted the champion in predator fish colors, dark blue and grey, kind of shark like. He is on a Bag of Crap base with a ruined stela. The warriors are on swamp terrain bases that I built.

Working on a set of 6 of these to start.. will have about 12-15 to paint. Wanted to get a wet slick look to them, sort of sharky. Sahuagin Raiders

I was inspired by the arrival of the Krackatoans from Dragon Bait, and decided to paint up a bunch of related sea folk. Almost all are from Bones, except the Spikeshells, who are the metal incarnation. So I ran a one shot 50 Fathoms adventure this weekend with hubby, son and 2 friends that were visiting. It went well, but they derailed the adventure completely by not walking the plank, instead choosing to stand and fight... First round was rough, half the party was down from all the pirates firing their pistols. But they prevailed, loosing only 1 extra, and headed off in a totally opposite direction from where the one-sheet adventure was at. So I winged a treasure map, and they found and dug up buried treasure, so all was good in the end. Anyway, here is the slightly converted Bones Bathalian (77020), I painted up to be a Kraken earth mage, one of the pre-made characters they could pick from. Not so happy with the color choices on his clothes. Tiik warriors (Bones 77186), standing in for Kehana, one of which has been converted to wear pants. Not sure what up with my color selections for them either, that pink is not terrible attractive...
