  1. Hi All! I happened to come across this project and instantly got sunk into the world of Obsidia. I thought I would share it here with all the Reaper folks! I'm sorry for bumping my own post a few times. After backing this project, I learned that these are first time game creators and they were turned down by some high end famous reviewers at the very last minute due to the COVID situation... Which, in my opinion, is super lame! I don't see how you cannot do a review unless you actually got the COVID! I hope that this post gets Obsidia to more people which would bring many hours of fun and enjoyable play! "A dark fantasy tabletop game with spell casting & area control. The fate of the colony is at stakes; build your empire & rule the realm!" https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/joshbeck/obsidia 1-4 PLAYERS, 90 MINUTES Players take turns exploring the dark realm of Obsidia by placing terrain tiles to create a dynamic and treacherous landscape. They'll send travelers from their home colonies out to found new towns, battling any enemy players or creatures in their path. Players will also cast spells unique to their colony class in order to gain the advantage. When all of Obsidia’s terrain has been discovered, the class controlling the most towns wins the game. Stretch goal unlocked: backers now get the sexy dice! :) Cheers! ~Z

  3. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blacklistgames/blacklist-miniatures-fantasy-series-1?ref=discovery_category_newest Story I'm Adam Sadler, senior game designer at Blacklist Games, and I love miniatures. They are what got my brother Brady and me into the hobby back when we were teenagers. Whether we’re using them in roleplaying games, board games, or tabletop miniatures games, we love collecting, assembling, painting, and playing with them. While Blacklist Games has published several of our games that feature miniatures, they saw our passion could be used for the creation of a new division that would focus solely on miniatures and allow for company growth in parallel with creating great board games. With everyone at the company excited about the possibility of this new division, here we are to share it with you! Blacklist Miniatures will focus entirely on producing high quality, highly detailed, pre-assembled plastic miniatures to be used in any type of game. Blacklist Miniatures: Fantasy Series 1, our first miniatures line, is not only a celebration of our love for miniatures, but also of all things fantasy. With your support, this campaign will not only bring this project to life, but also open the door to other lines of miniatures in various genres and even new games to utilize them!
  4. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lair3d/legendary-dragons?ref=elr2ef A shadow breaks through the clouds, filling hearts with wonder and dread; their fiery breaths captivating memory. These beasts live through songs that last entire generations, stories that become legend; for what could ever compare to the sight of a Dragon? LAIR is proud to present Legendary Dragons 3D-Printable Miniatures. Based on the Legendary Dragons 5e supplement by Jetpack7. Handled by the same people as Dragons of the Red Moon, which has so far delivered some amazing STLs

  6. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nerdpalacegames/primeval-clash-were-back Primeval Clash is the first release from Nerd Palace Games. It is a fast-playing skirmish miniatures game set in a world where prehistoric creatures and historical cultures join together on the field of battle. Lead an army of some of the worlds greatest civilizations, side by side with some of the most dangerous creatures to ever walk the earth (or fly). A unique play system draws the focus away from the traditional approach of using dice to determine if you succeed, and instead determines what you succeed at. In this game you to allocate your rolls to actions of your choice. It is a subtle, but game-changing approach. Our goal for designing Primeval Clash is to present to you a game where decisions and resource management are what determines who wins a game, not who rolls better. This time around we are providing you with our 2 player starter set which includes the Quanah Sovereignty and the Akhotep Dynasty. We are also providing 2 types of pledges, a physical copy of the game or a digital copy! The digital copy is only for people who use 3D printers so keep that in mind when you are pledging. Their previous KS for this project failed, but this one is quite successful so far. A bunch of stretch goals have been unlocked already.
  7. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/forgottenchapters/forgotten-chapters-purity-seals-and-parchment-transfers My name is Bruno and I recently decided to use my (few) graphic skills to design my own waterslide transfers, as I could not manage to get the details on my miniatures right. Especially the parchment, scrolls and purity seals never quite looked as good as I wanted. After sharing some of my work on Reddit and Instagram, I discovered many more miniature hobbyist had this same issue, which lead me to this kickstarter! Besides sharing my own designs, these transfers will be screen printed by industry leading professionals to the highest quality possible. The first sheet The finished product will be an A5 (210x148 mm) transfer sheet printed in 3 colors: White, Black and Red. The sheet will have hundreds of different designs to give you the most flexibility possible when personalising your mini's. I will regularly add new designs to the sheet, taking into account the backers feedback, until the sheet is full. Now while this seems geared to Warhammer 40K at first glance there is going to be a lot that's of more general interest, how many minis have you got with open books, parchments etc that just don't look great when you try and do it yourself? seems well worth a go, and not bad price wise (if you've ever tried to make your own waterslide stuff)
  8. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/townsmith/townbuilder-unlimited?ref=discovery_category_newest "The Townbuilder is a web application with which you can create custom 3D printable buildings for Tabletop Games. We provide detailed 3D models in the form of small building blocks that you can then use to create the perfect building for your table. All of our buildings can be printed support free and feature playable interior. You can either start from scratch or modify one of our many prepared templates to fit your needs." This might be a huge step in 3d print files for buildings. With HeroForge, you can design your own miniature and get a printfile for it ... this here allows you to design multi-level buildings and get a printfile for them. This building was created with the use of the software and you can download it from the KS page for free: Open Beta is already up and running (link on KS page) I'm very impressed (and a bit happy that there finally is a project from Germany that is THAT awesome).

  13. A message from Secret Weapon: Big news time everyone! As many of our pledgers know, we need to adjust the Kickstarter - On the positive, we have a good amount of backers and we know that MANY of you are waiting to up your pledges. We have had a really positive response to the product itself, and lots of interest on the customer and retail side. We deeply appreciate this and your support. BUT - we have a good amount of backers who are opting to wait on their $1 pledge. This is entirely our fault. We caused this when we locked our core offering behind stretch goals. There is no single item that is core. ALL the options are core. We made it so that many of you had to wait around to buy what you already knew they wanted. That's a big boo boo, but it was made with the best of intentions. The system was set up so that there was no mandatory amount, and you added what you wanted and nothing more. We thought that this was better for the customer, but it quickly became obvious the vast majority of backers want jump-in points at set amounts like a usual KS... and weren't entirely sure about a pledge manager that was open during the campaign. So, what are we going to do to fix this for you? We are going to close the campaign, and relaunch it next week. That sucks and it's embarrassing. But ultimately everything else that happens is great for EVERYONE, because this is what happens next: 1.) ALL themes will be shown and unlocked right off the bat. If you want Urban Streets or Infinity, you just go get it, no hoops or delays to choosing what you want. You also know exactly what is on offer. 2.) There will be pledge levels: $50(+), $100(+) and $200(+). The 100 dollar + level will include a set of 3 weathering pigments (really really good ones too - Burning Sands, Dark Earth, and Rust Orange), and the 200 dollar + level will be the pigment set, and a set of 3 genuinely awesome paints. Secret Weapon's Rubber Highlight, Rubber and Tire Black, our most popular colors! At the end of the campaign you will use the Pledge Manager, as usual, to make whatever specific choices you want based on your KS pledge. The Pledge Manger will be available during the campaign for those that would like help figuring out a total pledge level, but that is optional, and you can wait until the end of the campaign to sign up. 3.) Each of the $50(+), $100(+) and $200(+) pledge levels will have 3 shipping zone options Americas, Europe (NOT UK) AU, NZ, Asia, Pacific United Kingdom (NOT Europe) 4.) Any extra themes that are developed during the course of the KS will be added immediately, no stretch, we just give you the option as soon as it is available. There will be 17 themes live at the time of launch, which doesn't count the licensed product from Corvus Belli and CMON Zombiecide. PICTURE TIME
  14. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/huntersbooks/altered-carbon-the-role-playing-game/description Altered Carbon: The Role Playing Game Official tabletop RPG based on the hit neo-noir cyberpunk Netflix series and award-winning novel of the same name. Working alongside Skydance Television and the incredible team behind the hit Netflix TV series, we’re excited to immerse you in the neon-drenched cyberpunk sandbox of Altered Carbon with our official tabletop RPG. In this transhumanist vision of the future, the human mind is nothing more than digital code – Digital Human Freight – saved and stored in a Cortical Stack, advanced technology that allows you to “re-sleeve” your entire consciousness into a new body. You can wear any body you can afford, transmit your mind across the cosmos in an instant, and, if you’ve got the credits and political cachet, you can re-sleeve time and again for centuries, accumulating enough wealth and power over the millennia to become the societal equivalent of an immortal god. Whereas character death is a natural occurrence and ever-present threat in tabletop RPGs, Altered Carbon: The Role Playing Game offers a unique angle on the concept. As opposed to creating a brand new character, players will have the opportunity to transfer their character’s consciousness, memories, and experiences into new Sleeves post-death… but at a cost. Mind you, immortality is not invincibility. Losing a Sleeve is a life-altering setback, and “Real Death” awaits anyone whose Stack is destroyed. That being said, Sleeves introduce their own refreshing challenges to players and storytellers alike. Augmentations can instantly upgrade your athleticism, but a world-class surgeon in an unadjusted Sleeve can botch a basic procedure. The possibilities for characters and campaigns may change from one Sleeve to the next… making long-term gameplay more versatile, while empowering the story to steer character advancement at its own pace. Just about a day left on this. I just learned of it today, and I've been suckered in for a book and a GM screen. Big fan of the series, intrigued by the actual game, so.
  15. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/greebo-games/necromals-eternal-lethargy?ref=ksr_email_user_new_friend_project Story Depending on the amount of orders received for each project, delivery dates might vary. The initial shipment dates indicated are not final, and even though we're committed to giving all our customers the best service we can, sometimes the amount of orders received might make the final shipment date vary compared to our initial estimates. Please keep this possibility in mind before placing your order. Regarding both the bundles and the stretch goals described above, no swaps of model of any kind are allowed. Therefore, please don’t ask us to swap any stretch goal with other add-ons or any perk models with other miniatures, because that cannot be done. We created something for those who like to not take themselves too seriously, for those who would like to relax while painting - with less details, but by no means not enough of them - for those who love their minis with a side dose of cuteness overload and, finally, for those who might have children to introduce to miniature gaming, by giving all of these people something that players will love (or hate, as the case may be) no matter their age! Wait a minute… delivery estimated after only two week after the campaign ends? A Greebo campaign?! Oh yes, and here’s why: because we’ve started production already! We’re convinced that we can reach the campaign goal, at the least, and that’s why we started the manufacturing process of everything. Therefore, the second you complete your Pledge Manager (let us remind all of you, if you don’t complete it, there will be no shipment, so do it!) your package will be processed and sent, just like that. We want to open and close this campaign in record time, and we’re confident that we can do it! 21. Sorry for the late yell, been the busiest month of life...ever! TooFatLardies collaboration - last few hours of my KS for British Home Front. They're working on a FREE supplement with rules and scenarios for all the minis, not just for the women, rules that will fit with your male and existing figures too for Chain of Command. But of course there are many games and eras you can use em in. As well as women there's hero dogs, pigeons and other critters! Bad Squiddo is just me and I've been working my arrrrse off getting this off the ground, so even a cheeky peek and share would be amazing. And thank you everyone who has backed so far, we've made some really incredible things happen. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/badsquiddogames/women-of-ww2-british-home-front-28mm-miniatures
  22. Hello! We're back with another small campaign. 9 minis sculpted by Boris Woloszyn, we cast in crisp resin and the whole set is 50USD. (40USD if you pledge during the first 12 hours) https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/westfaliaminiatures/barbarians-bards-and-buccaneers Thanks or having a look!
  23. http://kck.st/2OP1igG Kobolds Vs. Goblins is a game designed, tested, built and played by my son Max and me (You saw him in the video). The concept was something we came up with for a contest on The Game Crafter using roll & write mechanics. What we ended up making was a fast and fun game that can be played by people of any age. It's quick and easy to learn and setup is as easy as opening the box. Max and I decided that people shouldn't be forced to buy our game just to play it. So, you are free to download the full color print and play version of the game using this link. FREE PRINT AND PLAY (including solo mode) You'll need 6 normal D6 dice and something to mark the paper. (For prototyping, we used clear cubes, but pencil with eraser will work also) I'll admit... I have no idea how those of you who share KS from others include all the details and fancy stuff. I clearly didn't do this correctly. Munchkin Metropolis traditionally does woodcrafting, and I've been very satisfied with the quality and production time that's come from my prior interactions with him. Figured I'd try and get the word out about his current KS, which he developed with his son.
  24. <link here> Tomb Guardians over the past year has been asked to release our miniatures in a resin/plastic material because a lot of you do not like metal. So for nearly a year we have discussed and researched the best way to produce a high quality, high detail miniature that is far above the current standard on the market. We are happy to announce that we have found a method and decided to release all our 28mm monsters in a High Resolution Resin. These miniatures will come with a 1 year guarantee, if you break one we will replace it for FREE! Just mail it back to us. Bobby Jackson, Jason Weibe, Gene Van Horne and Patrick Keith help create these amazing creatures. We hope you enjoy our Monsters and want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
