The minis below where my exchange minis for Hiddenone32. I apparently boxed them up too well as he received the package, unboxed and posted that he liked the Giant Were Rat.... no mention of the scarecrow! After replying to his post and mentioning that there was a second painted mini he searched the paper towels I had used as padding and discovered the scarecrow. Thankfully he had not cleaned up after the unboxing! First is 77292 Giant Wererat! And next is the scarecrow with his goody bag 77211 Guantfield Enjoy! Comment
Gauntfield, Necropolis Hero Yup, another WIP. Gauntfield has been in my kit for years. He has received most of the excess green stuff from everything I've ever built. I wanted the scarecrow to be standing behind a tree trunk, gnarled and dead for many years. So I started out by applying him to a base that filled the space up to his feet on the slot bottom he had and built the basis for his tree. As you can see, I used two skewer pieces as the center posts and set the "fork" of the tree I was looking for. Then I placed terrarium rocks around it to fill out the bottom of t
this mini was fun to paint. gauntfield had lots of detail and hardly no mold lines or flashing. I painted him dark to blend in with the background on a spooky night in the grave yard. I think the bones crew got it completely right with this mini.
