  1. About this project Hell Awaits... Wave 1 - 28mm resin miniatures featuring the denizens of Hell in all their twisted, evil glory. A new range of (mostly) Classic Historical Demons for you to summon into your homes. I've been planning this project for over a year now and fully intend to keep this series of miniatures going, building up a base as I go, and there's also a game I'm busy developing (in which all the mini releases will be usable) in the pipeline. Pledge levels: £25 - All 6 Wave 1 resin Demon miniatures + their corresponding prints. £20 - All 6 Wave 1 resin Demon miniatures. £4 - Any one single resin Demon miniature. *Please note that all miniatures will be supplied unpainted and unassembled (they will require some basic assembly, at minimum removing from the sprue and attaching to the base, although most figures are only one piece)* Add-ons: All add-ons are available with all pledge levels. Simply add an additional £4 for each extra Wave 1 Demon miniature you want and £1 for each print you want. Wave 1 Demons: Wave 1 lineup Abraxas Artwork Plain resin miniature, approx 53mm high. Sculpted by Martin Baker Primed and with a quick wash and dry brush Painted by G Abraxas, the terrible one, a supremely powerful warrior Demon whose disparate parts represent wakefulness, articulate thought, prudence, wisdom and relentlessness. He has the ability to generate truth and falsehood, good and evil, light and darkness with the same word and in the same deed; the total package. Not generally the most malevolent Demon in Hell, but potentially one of the most dangerous. Construct Artwork Plain resin miniature, approx 18mm high. Sculpted by Darren Edwards Primed and with a quick wash and dry brush Painted by Painting Knights Upon entering Hell, all Souls are instantly remade in flesh. They have to be, this is Hell and Demons see it in their job to torture Souls. And whilst mental torture might be a thing, try telling that to a grinning Demon with a pair on pliers in hand. Inevitably most Demons end up getting a bit too carried away and this leads to a vast overabundance of dismembered limbs and severed heads. he souls can, of course, be remade in flesh an infinite amount of times, and they will be, but that still leaves a sea of limbs, torsos and heads. The torsos tend to be eaten by ravenous Demons, but most of the limbs and heads have historically been incinerated. Nevertheless, mischievous Imps, bored with carting around countless body parts decided to start creating their own Demons behind Satan's back. Lacking imagination, they took their inspiration from Hell's guard dog, Cerberus, and they started stitching together random limbs in a rough hound-like shape and recreated the three heads by stitching together three severed human heads and connecting them to the 'body', and thus the Constructs were born. The constructed abominations were still lifeless, of course, the Imps don't possess any magical powers, so they still had to find a Demon, who didn't mind risking the wrath of Satan should he find out his Demon-creating power was being usurped, and convince them to reanimate the monstrosities. There was an obvious choice...

  3. About this project It's not easy running a team in a violent Fantasy Football league. There's riots when you win, riots when you lose and I'm just talking about the coin-toss. To help you out on match day, we've assembled some of the finest staff in the Old Kingdoms: Please note that the finished figures will be cast in white metal with trace amounts of lead and as such are not suitable for children. The miniatures will also be supplied unpainted, unless the highest amount is pledged. Hopefully this project will be a starting point for a whole new range of accessory figures and maybe even teams but we can't do it without your support. It's a bit soon to start talking about stretch goals but we do have a few ideas up our sleeves that we will hopefully get a chance to present to our wonderful backers! Shipping is not included in pledge price, however all postage + packing costs do include insurance for lost parcels. All images and figures are the copyright of Northumbrian Painting Services.
  4. About this project In this third Frills & Fauna installment, we delve into the darker side of the Stargrind universe. The Overlords Kickstarter looks at one of the species in the galaxy that subdue others. Overlords Behind every thrall is a master. A major antagonist in Stargrind is the Overlords. A wholly alien species best described as floating brains. Physically, the overlords are quite weak, as they have evolved to interact with the physical realm using their minds. Powerful with both telepathy and telekinesis, the overlords can control everything (and almost everyone) around them with a simple thought. These models will involve two sets of components: bodies and tentacles. Different sets of tentacles may become available though stretch-goals to mix and match with the bodies. The number of "slots" on each body for attaching appendages is referred to as "soft points." Being cast in resin means they are very easily manipulated into different poses by placing them into hot water. Classes of Overlords Drone The most commonly spotted Overlord has been labelled the drone. Drones are slightly armoured in comparison to other classes of overlord, lending to their common presence on the battlefield where they are most vulnerable. The drone has 6 soft points. Watcher Named for its assumed purpose of being a scout, as it lurks the battlefields and rarely engages. Its single eye beholds locations and movements of creatures, communicating back to the overlords' hivemind. Unlike the drone, its eye is exposed for greater vision, but more susceptible to damage. The watcher has 8 soft points. Reaper If the overlords can't initially control a species, the reapers emerge to consume brain matter and learn the secrets of its biology. Equipped to tackle specimens still living, the reapers entangle their foes with tentacles before feasting on the head. The Reaper has 8 soft points. Infiltrator The infiltrators carry large egg-like spores on their bodies, which they disperse in secluded areas that are rich with organic material. This appears to be their only purpose, as their flaccid husks are abandoned with their deposits, perhaps to catalyze the growth process. The watcher has no soft points. Matriarch Meet the Matriarch! It's uncertain whether the matriarch is a mature version of the infiltrator, or a seperate class altogether, but she also bears overlord spores. Perhaps since infiltrators expire upon plantation, this class of overlord is indeed an alternative path, growing larger and more dominant rather than concluding in sacrifice. The matriarch has 12 soft points. Sporeling Once an invader (or better) transplants its cargo of spores (chlamydospore) onto biomass, the spores begin to absorb the biomatter and grow. Some take on traits of their "food." Once they complete germination, the spores detach from the husk and float around until they either form self awareness, link into the hivemind of a mature overlord or fall prey to something else. Adolescent As sporelings grow, their embryonic roots retract, wither and harden. Often mistaken for horns or teeth, these scabby protrusions are reborn as tentacles or other feeler/manipulator devices. Scale shots Pledge levels

  6. About this project I already sell a range of buildings that feature tubes and these are some of my most popular items. The downside to these existing building designs is that they require Pringle tubes sourced by the customer. I have wanted to expand this line for quite some time but did not want to continue to rely on the use of Pringle tubes. I want to switch to a more reliable source of tubes that will also allow multiple sizes to be used in the buildings to provide more variety. These new buildings are a product of these development ideas, with the majority of the new buildings using at least one size of card tube in the design. A major improvement with this range of new buildings is that this time the tubes will be provided as part of the building kits. They all share a common design theme allowing any and all of them to look at home when placed together on a table top. I have also included a high level of detail on these buildings. The aim of this Kickstarter is to raise the funds to order a large supply of the card tubes. For economic reasons, these need to be ordered in from overseas. The shipping fees and import add a considerable amount onto the price, however these costs will be defrayed on a large order, improving the value for the money. Offering these buildings initially as a Kickstarter allows a large order base to be developed to provide the best economics. Therefore, ordering in a large amount allows me to price my buildings at a very fair price for the level of detail, size and quality that you will receive. The majority of these building include my standard LED lighting system in red, blue or green. This time the lighting is optional, the buildings have been designed to hide the LEDS and holes for the builds, so if the buildings do not have the lights in place you cannot see the LED fixtures. This is a significant improvement over my first Kickstarter designs where the lights were placed on the outside of the building and needed covers to direct the light and hide the fixtures. The battery cases are held in place inside the building using high quality branded Velcro. Each set of lights require 2xAA batteries and I recommend Duracell or a similar high quality branded battery. If you do not wish to have the lighting kits you will be able to opt out of them after the Kickstarter on your questionnaire. Another aim of this Kickstarter is to increase my range of buildings with internal access for game play. To this end I have designed many of the buildings with removable roofs, please note not all of the buildings have this feature. Like the lighting I have designed this feature to be optional. The buildings with the feature will come with it as standard but you will be able to glue the roof in place if desired. If you intend to make use of this feature combined with the lighting you will have to neatly arrange the wires inside of the buildings so you can have hassle free access to the inside. This is straight forward as the wires are easy to manipulate and glue in place. These buildings are designed for 28mm wargames. They are also suitable as building kits for display and hobbyists. I recommend building these with PVA glue for the wood sections and tubes and Superglue with activator for the wires and bulbs. This Kickstarter has a large range of buildings ranging from simple to complex. To help with your selection I have added a difficulty key. This is found at the bottom of the image of each building. The key works on a 1-5 scale with 1 being a simple straight forward build and 5 being complex and intricate build. Complexity is decided by amount of parts, size and how involved / detailed the construction is. The more complex kits will be supported by instructions with more detail and explanation included with the kit. All kits are provided with printed instructions which will consist of text and photos of each of the stages throughout the build process. Where needed for clarity they will also include line drawings of the stages and parts needed. These kits vary in time needed to construct from approximately 4 of hours for a smaller simpler building up to a day of continuous effort. As some of the gluing will be with PVA, there will be times when the building needs to be left to stand whilst the glue sets. The time needed is reflected in the difficulty key, therefore expect a 1 rated building to take 3-5 hours to construct and a 5 rated building 18-24 hours. There are 45 buildings in this campaign split in to 3 main categories. Commercial, Industrial and Military, buildings are put in to these categories based on the theme of the building. There is also a 4th sub category called the Expedition buildings. This is a small set that features Commercial, Industrial and Military buildings but with a slightly different aesthetic to the overall design that runs through all of the buildings in this group. All of the buildings are shown below, split into the three main categories. You may pick any of the buildings if you are taking one of the bundle pledges or if taking just a single building pledge please use the correct one of the two options.
  7. About this project About us Here at Dark Lord Miniatures we just love to create new and amazing things for use in 28mm tabletop games. What originally began as a simple hobby for the founder Matthew Kent, painting and sculpting quickly evolved into a way of life. Armed with his keen eyes and unorthodox approach to anything he attempts Matthew has taken what was once a hobby and has turned it into a constantly expanding business that is dedicated to making gamers fall in love with their hobbies all over again. Up to now we have hand cast every product we've made in solid polyurethane resin before each piece is inspected for flaws, if there's something we aren't happy with it doesn't make it past the bin. It can be time consuming but it is our dedication that has set us apart from the rest, the results speak for themselves. Why are we running a Kickstarter? To put it simply, we love what we do. We love making new things, we love making games more immersive and most importantly we love that feeling when our customers enjoy our products. That's a whole lotta love right there! Our first ever Kickstarter! As the title implies, this is our first ever Kickstarter campaign. We hope you're as excited as us! After months of hard work and prototyping we are proud to release our new range of tiles to the public. These tiles will make up the main part of what will be called the Dungeon Foundation Set, they have been designed with simplicity and accessibility in mind with the goal of creating a fully modular tile system while maintaining a quick setup time. We aim to get this Kickstarter wrapped up in time for Christmas as we know a lot of RPG and tabletop enthusiasts would love to find a box of our tiles under the tree. We decided to launch our range via Kickstarter as it allows us to reach out to a great community for help in bringing our dream to life. That Brings un on to the next part... What are you helping us to make? Over the past few months we have dedicated our time to prototyping modular 3D tiles for the Dungeon Foundation Set, we have now completed all the main structural tiles and it is with your help that we will create all the moulds necessary to begin full time production. Your money will help us to buy all the materials needed to produce the tiles and in return you will be among the first in the world to own some of Dark Lord Miniatures modular dungeon system. As a thankyou we will unlock free stretch goals throughout the campaign plus you will get all our tiles for less than the RRP. Stretch goals Throughout the funding period we will unlock stretch goals at specific milestones. These may be tiles or components you have already seen, some of them may be new tiles we have been working on. Please note that free stretch goals are only available for certain pledge levels. Pledge Levels Here you will find pictures of what to expect in each of the pledges. Please note only the DUNGEON SET 1 pledge and higher will qualify for free stretch goals. This is everything you will get in DUNGEON SET 1 Gallery Below are some pictures of the various tiles in use as well as some unpainted examples of the prototype tiles. We will also add pictures of any unlocked stretch goals. A side by side comparison of a painted advance junction tile next to its resin counterpart. These resin masters will be used to make the mould for the final product once they have been cleaned up. Below are some pictures of the main tiles that make up the majority of the Dungeon Foundation Set.

  11. About this project Hi! We are Small Terrain Miniature Scenery, a small business run by myself (Andy) and my partner, Donna. We started Small Terrain after I had to take redundancy from my regular job (due to being diagnosed with PTSD from my Military Service), and I thought I would try and make my hobby (and my passion) a career. Last year we launched our first ever Kickstarter to raise money for a new studio. The campaign was a huge success, that not only bought in much needed capital but an amazing new customer base. Since then we have had three successful Kickstarter projects, and because of this we have decided to follow up with another project based around "Gothic Sci-Fi" themed scatter terrain. Although aimed at 28mm Sci-Fi systems like Warhammer 40K and Mantic's Warpath, these pieces will be more than suitable for Post-Apocalyptic games such as MAD MAX A WORLD OF FIRE & BLOOD We are looking to raise £500 to pay for the production of this new resin scatter terrain. The money will be spent on making both the masters and production moulds for this range. We have a great choice of pledge levels on offer that won't break the bank. You can also find all the measurements for each product at the bottom of the page so why not take a look! PLEASE NOTE - All UK Shipping will be 1st Class Signed for. 13. About this project This is a fantasy skirmish game from 4Ground for two players, with between 5 to 30 miniatures per side. You find yourself in the Fabled Realms of the Tueden League and their wider world. For more than eight decades these lands have been at relative peace with only regional conflicts to disturb the citizens of the League. But all that has changed, as now there is a general call to arms. News from Fellendorf is of the most dire imaginable. In the last few weeks reports from Broggenbridge have said many Druggoi have gathered their minions to roam well beyond Daldorr. Taking command of your warband, in the early days of what will become known as the 3rd Druggoi Incursion, you will fight against numerous foes. Each starter box includes a warband of 8 figures, heroes and henchmen, that will execute your will on the tabletop. Also included; an A5 rule book, custom dice, tokens, ability cards, character cards, A6 character pad, warband tracker and faction flyer. Cover Art By Jared Blando To help you with your pledge we have provided the following guide; If you are not sure what you would like to order, click on this link for our pledge calculator. The pledge calculator will be updated daily between 12:00 noon and 15:00 BST with any unlocked stretch goals. The main factions of the game are; Hateful Blows Card Art By Jared Blando The Druggoi Covens are made up of creatures afflicted by the Dragoul Curse. These creatures are in most cases little more than beasts, as the curse destroys their mental faculties while changing their physical proportions. But these are not the living dead, these are beasts that can be killed. There are among them those that have kept their mental faculties. Sentient, smart, cruel, these are the Druggoi. What you are going to get in the Druggoi Coven starter box (the final models will come with coloured bases not clear); The Druggoi Coven sculpted by Edgar Ramos. Box art by Courtney Chitsiga All miniatures are unpainted and either pre-assembled plastic or multipart resins. Duties End Card Art By Jared Blando The Holy Militant Order of The Eightfold Path is a band of religious warriors formed from a civilian army that fought in the 2nd Druggoi incursion. Led by the Ascended, people who have consumed the blood of a Druggoi and instead of being corrupted by the curse they have been blessed by Mother. 14. About this project The Crew of the Mother Hydra. Welcome to the latest Kickstarter from Blind Beggar Miniatures: The Crew of the Mother Hydra. The aim of this campaign is to get these new Amphibious Alien miniatures into production in white metal. Success will see this happen. With your help it will. The Mother Hydra. The Mother Hydra is the name of a space-faring vessel of previously unknown design that has entered the fringes of the solar system in which the planet Outland exists. The occupants of this vessel have made long range contact with the authorities on Outland and appear to be conducting themselves in a most peaceful fashion. They claim to be an alliance of amphibious alien races, calling themselves the Dee-Pwonz. A delegation of the Dee-Pwonz has made its way to the surface of Outland and has been greeted by the Human Government of Outland where introductory talks are commencing. This landing party used a small shuttle of curious design that has been set down in the spaceport of Landfall The miniatures in this Kickstarter campaign represent the crew of that particular vessel and the the following descriptions detail the roles that they appear to fulfil on board the shuttle, Whether these roles are accurate has yet to be determined but these are believed to be a reasonable reflection of the positions they occupy in their society. At the moment these are the only visitors that have left the shuttle, although there may be more crew members still aboard..... The Origins of the Crew... At the moment there is only speculation as to the place from where the Mother Hydra came and, until more news is received we can only hope and assume that they have come in peace, What do we actually know about them? The crew of the Mother Hydra appear to be from several different species of amphibious creatures that have formed an alliance. If they all come from the same planet of origin is as yet undetermined. Whether their specific species dictates their role in Dee-Pwonz society is also unknown, although it appears that at least one of the distinct species is fulfilling at least two very different roles on board the shuttle. The largest of them appear to be acting as 'warriors', maybe they are the equivalent of Marines on a human vessel, but we cannot be sure but have termed them as such. These larger creatures are not the only members of the crew that appear to be armed as one of the smaller creatures is also bearing what appears very much to be an automatic rifle of human origin. This would also indicate that this is not the first time that the Dee-Pwonz have encountered humankind but how they have come into possession of human weaponry is as yet unclear.
  15. Description Enter the Dark Ages of Greece, ruled by mighty Gods wielding advanced technology. Control asymmetric heroes and choose your path to victory, either by strategic control or adventure style monster hunting and quests. Build majestic multi-part monuments of Gods on the board and unlock their mighty powers that will help you win and survive the raids of monsters, who travel through land and rain havoc. In Lords of Hellas, you control an asymmetric hero, developed by increasing his 3 basic statistics and gathering artifacts. The main statistics are: Leadership that will help you to move your armies Strength that will empower you to successfully hunt for monsters Speed that will make your hero move faster Through the game you can choose from various actions and influence the game thanks to the mighty monuments of base Gods: Zeus, Athena, and Hermes. You need to strategically move your armies and hero as well as manage your actions in order to win. There are also random events, where players need to vote or take action together. Players can win in various ways: by controlling area, temples, or slaying monsters that are wandering through the map and interfere in various ways. Once any victory condition is met, the game ends (there is no point system).
  16. About this project Along the Great Northern Trade Route that leads to the town of Midlam, merchants come from distant lands to buy and sell their wares. One such trader is the Great Sultan, who has brought along his entourage of advisers, entertainers and of course, his guards. Also, arriving close behind the Sultan are rumours of strange and exotic wizards, and something more sinister. Could it be, that he hopes to escape the curse of the Undead Pharaoh, who's tomb he ordered looted for it's fantastic treasures? Whatever the truth of the matter, the High Wizard of Midlam has chosen to investigate these rumours... Midlam Miniatures are pleased to present a collection of six 28mm scale mages & priests from the distant desert lands, for all of your Fantasy Egyptian, Pulp and Arabian Nights games. The Undead Pharaoh The High Priest The Priest The Priestess The Sorceress The Princess This is our fourth Kickstarter, and we are using it to help develop and extend our existing range of 'Arabian Nights' miniatures. We have also included an option to purchase 'An audience with the Great Sultan' alongside the six mages and priests. The set includes twelve miniatures: The Sultan on rug, two guards, female guard with spear, assassin, servant with fan, panther, caravan guard, adviser, snake charmer, rug merchant and sword swallower. An Audience with the Great Sultan Getting this project funded will not only help us get these figures made, but will also help us plan and create future ranges and expansions. Our three previous Kickstarters, Wizard Apprentices, Wizard Halflings and Cultists of the Kraken Lord all successfully funded and delivered on schedule. We are also happy to receive suggestions on what to make next! PLEASE NOTE: The miniatures are cast in a high quality pewter, with a high Tin content, but may contain a small quantity of lead. We unfortunately cannot guarantee lead free models. They are not toys, and are not suitable for children. We regrettably do not have the ability to produce resin miniatures. All miniatures are supplied unpainted. All images and miniatures are ©2017 Midlam Miniatures.
  17. About this project Pledge now to help TAG add these two new additional packs of 28mm Dwarf Empire Bear Knights on foot to our current range, Funded here on Kickstarter 18 months ago. These 8 new original miniatures represent the Dwarf Knights of the Bear Order, all carrying huge two handed hammers. we are planning on releasing these minis in two packs, one of four ordinary Knights with hammers, and one Command pack with Dwarf Commander, Standard Bearer, Musician and a Champion. Bear Knight Champion Like our previous Kickstarter, this is something of a small Project for us, but this time the Fund Level is somewhat higher, as we have design costs to consider in the Goal. Pledge Levels. Pledge £14, for one pack of the four different 28mm size white metal models. Your choice of either the Command Pack, or the Knight Pack. Pledge £22 for one of each of the two packs, Command & the Knight pack. Pledge £42, for a five pack Unit Builder twenty 28mm size white metal models. One Command Group & four Knight Packs Bear Knight Musician Stretch Goals. With such a short time scale Kickstarter as this, its difficult to add much in the way of meaningful Stretch Goals, but we'll try to cram in a couple if we can. We know Backers love Freebies and Limited Edition Kickstarter Exclusives. £1500+ Add a Freebie miniature, to all Pledges at £42+ £3000+ Add a Limited Edition 'Bear Mascot' miniature sculpted by Jon Pickford to all Pledges. Limited Edition Kickstarter Exclusives At TAG, we give away a large number of Freebie Miniatures, every Order through our Online Shopping Cart gets one added free for every £40 spent, so when we go though the £1500 mark we will add, a Dwarf Freebie, to every Pledge at the £42 Level. Bear Knight Commander If we can find time to push onto the £3000 point in the short time we have left, then we will commission to have sculpted a Limited Edition Kickstarter Exclusive Bear Mascot miniature, to add to all Backers Pledges at all Levels. 18. About this project This project will enable me to design produce and then manufacture a very exquisite pack of'Last of the Mohicans' Movie Characters to be used with my current 28mm French & Indian War range. Once my Kickstarter pledge has reached the target, the figures will only be available to my Kickstarter backers and not released on my website for at least 2 months. I am asking for your support, which will enable me to design and produce the following figures. If the pledge is reached I will open up Stretch goals. Please follow me on Facebook and receive updates and news:

  20. About this project Hello! We are Small Terrain Miniature Scenery, a small business run by myself (Andy) and my partner, Donna. Last year we launched our first ever Kickstarter to raise money for a new studio. The campaign was a huge success, that not only bought in much needed capital but an amazing new customer base. Since then we have had a second successful Kickstarter project with our "Take Cover!" sandbag range. Based on this we have decided to follow up with another project based around "Bricks and Mortar" themed terrain. Although aimed at 28mm WW2 systems like Bolt Action, these pieces will be more than suitable for 40K or modern settings like "The Walking Dead". We are looking to raise £500 to pay for the production of our new resin bricks and mortar themed terrain. The money will be spent on make both the masters and production moulds for this range. 21. About this project Macrocosm Miniatures is a small UK miniature company based in Gloucestershire. We set up back in 2015 with a few Sci-Fi miniatures and since then the ranges have grown to hundreds of miniatures including Fantasy and Fantasy/Historical. Continuing our Pirate run, we are looking to raise £1000 to pay for production moulding of these miniatures. Upon reaching the funding goal we will get the miniatures straight into moulds and start spinning up pledges for people. By supporting us in this project you will be getting the miniatures faster and cheaper than if you waited for them to come to retail. The Crew £40 The Crew miniatures are 28mm scale, cast in a white metal (containing a small trace of lead) and come with a 25mm round plastic base. The Crew pledge represents a £9 (20% ) saving over individual purchase. Also available in single, smaller, packs as Add-Ons below 'Where to next?' we hear you cry! Well we have plans for a few more miniatures to be added to this project at certain points if we can hit the funding for them. 22. About this project This project is designed to bring you new Warriors of Baalor miniatures for the Darklands fantasy wargame from Mierce Miniatures! Warriors of Baalor are powerful, heavily armoured humans loyal to Baalor, the evil power of the Great Ice Sheet, lord of the Fomoraic and the greatest threat the Lands of Darkness have ever known. All Warriors of Baalor were human, once, but have been turned to Baalor's cause by the twin promises of power and slaughter. They are rewarded with a strength, skill and fearlessness unknown to mortal men, and if they survive the wars of the Ice they can become the leaders of Baalor's great war-hosts, answering only to him. The Eye Arisen, Great Axe Warrior of Baalor Unit We've already begun work on the Warriors of Baalor sculpts! The easiest (and cheapest!) way to get hold of the new Warriors of Baalor is by pledging for one of the infantry starter hosts, shown below. Scroll down and you'll see loads more starter hosts than just this one - and there'll be more versions of the Warriors of Baalor as this project continues, too! The Darklands: Warriors of Baalor Kickstarter project is not just designed to bring you the new Warrior of Baalor miniatures for the Fomoraic, though - it's also a great opportunity to get into the dark fantasy world of Darklands for the first time, to expand your existing Darklands collection or maybe just to grab some fantastic miniatures to paint! As you can see, we've give you the option to purchase everything in resin, if you're more of a painter than a gamer! Make sure you check the comments on this project too for sneak peeks, Darklands lore, hints, tactics, painting advice and general insanity! The community that builds during these Kickstarter projects is amazing, and even if you just read the comments, you'll gain so much more from Darklands: Warriors of Baalor!

  25. About this project QUICK FACTS Line of 28mm miniatures cast in lead-free metal Standard troops have poseable/interchangeable parts All models in the campaign available as add-ons at £6 each Average model RRP £7.50 For more pictures of the renders and to keep up-to-date you can visit https://www.facebook.com/salvationandsteel/ All models will come with a standard 25mm gaming base OUR AIMS Put simply, we want to produce a great line of high-quality miniatures which can be used for a variety of purposes. These miniatures are going to be cast in lead-free metal for several reasons; metal miniatures are more durable, retain great detail during casting while costing less than resin and provide the best material for converting models. Standard troops (e.g. the first two female models) will have interchangeable pieces; the heads, arms, torso and legs are printed separately with the same joints. Special characters and leaders (e.g. the female death mage) will be more detailed and, while poseable, will be more focused towards being showcase pieces. Having said that, where possible, these models will come with multiple pieces (e.g. heads) which can also be interchanged with the other models. Below are pictures of master-casts, held together unceremoniously with blu-tac. We specifically laid aside part of our starting budget to have the models printed with numerous different companies so that we could choose the best result for the project. We're delighted that the tiniest details, like the knives on her left leg and the cross-stitching on the sides of her trousers, have come out perfectly. The model is shown here on a standard 25mm base. See the 3D renders below for comparison. THE REWARDS We have 54 models planned, and funding beyond our stretch target of £20,000 will be a huge bonus (including multiple free models for all pledges £19 and over) allowing us to pass considerable savings on to our initial backers. The list of planned models, along with unlock levels for the campaign, is shown below. All models unlocked will also be available individually at the end of the campaign as an add-on for the same price (£6) as at the reward levels. We wanted to keep the description short and sweet, so please find the 3D renders of the first three models below. Your support of this project means that we have money to not only master-print the other renders but also then cast these for distribution to the pledges.
