If you've known me at all over the years, you'll know that aside from my passion for good femme representation and guinea pigs, I'm actually a massive fan of ghouls. I collect ghouls! And things that look like ghouls! All the ghouls! Paul Muller is my number 1 dream ghoul man, he's made all my favourites. About 4/5 years ago I got in touch with him and we released the first set of ghoul mothers, which are....very horrifying - in the best ghoul way! The last horror campaign we did, we added some more Muller ghouls, and he got ghoul fever too and has sculpted us a whole bunch of them since then, that we're going to Kickstarter! Aside from ghoul ladies which I'm obviously a fan, we have ghoul men, ghoul children and even some ghoul teenagers. And ghoul pets! Fun for all the family!* *I've actually put a warning at the start of the Kickstarter as Bad Squiddo are known for our family friendly lovely things, and this campaign does have some dark themes as it's very much an Annie campaign, so if that's not your thing, there are ghouls eating babies and guinea pigs and things, so best not to scroll further. I don't think any are as grim as the ghoul mothers (the original pack) so there's that! We've got artwork from Patrice Rameau and lovely paintjobs from Andrew Taylor and John Morris.

I got four of these guys in that same undead sampler pack I mentioned in my post about the Damned Company. It contained a few different parts, so there was room for a decent amount of customization (there's a ton more parts I didn't even use...into the bits box they go!). For the sake of variety, I ended up using some zombie heads (from the same sampler pack) on two of these guys. So...they can read as zombies or ghouls on the table. I go back and forth on whether or not I like the various spikes they have shoved through their bodies. Overall, I guess it looks okay. I do wish they were made of a *slightly* softer plastic...I'm super-worried about those fingers snapping off at some point. Anyway, I kept the paint jobs fairly basic on the clothing for easy identification during play ("blue guy," "brown guy," and so forth). Blue guy: I think the blue guy is my favorite. They knocked it out of the park when sculpting that particular head. Brown guy: I didn't realize until I'd started basecoating that this guy had half of his face ripped off right down to the bone. Another very cool head sculpt. Green guy: I struggled to get decent pictures of this guy. The camera doesn't seem to like that hunched over pose. Dark Gray guy: Nothing much to say about this guy. He's a guy...he's wearing dark gray...he really needs to see to that exposed brain in the back of his head. Comments and criticism welcomed.

Some expansions for the pack... (no my output of ghouls has no relation to the traditional onset of cannibalism in midwinter....) and in their natural environment...

Reaper Bones Ghouls... ...peacefully feeding. I'm happy with how they came out, flesh tones and blending aren't my usual strong points, but after plundering some ideas from the Inq28/ Blanchjutsu folks I'm finding it easier. and now we let them return to their lunch...

Painted some zombies for my Rangers of Shadowdeep games, they were quick and fun to paint

Picked up just because I wanted to paint some more Ghouls, here are The Grymwatch from Warhammer Underworlds. I was amazed the amount of character they can get into a snap-fit kit these days.

The Ghouls, aka the Flesh-Eater Court faction's warband was the first to be released seperately for Beastgrave, the third season of the Warhammer Underworld game, apart from the warbands in the Beastgrave game set that is. As soon as I saw these, I knew I had to have them. Still, it took me several months after building and undercoating them until I got around to actually painting them. Much like most minis I compulsively buy. I still have first and second season warbands to paint...and most of a ghoul king army... I did these in the same sitting as the Reaper Bones Hungering Dead. Luckily, ghouls can be really quickly painted with good results. These I had undercoated black with white zenithal when I first bought them, before standing around gathering dust for a few months. I originally purchased him use his alternative skull head and arm, but needed a human necro for an upcoming scenario. I like this version too.

I kickstarted bones 4 to jump start mini collection after receiving the dubious honor of "Default DM" for my friends. After watching a few tutorials, my gf and I spent Saturday afternoon prepping and painting our first-ever minis. Any tips/feedback would be much appreciated. Ghouls were painted using various colors from the bones 4 paint sets A and B.

Some happy little flesh eaters. Some of the easier Wizkids figures I've painted, although I'm not sure why their tongues are hanging out. As far as I know ghouls sweat... Used the Vampiric Skin triad on them, it fits them well but makes them photo resistant. To them it's a buffet...

Hi everybody, while waiting for some new Reaper bone's mini I ordered .. I am doing couple of those Wizkids I grabbed recently, and finished for now the ghouls one. Here the pics :)

Hopefully the old timers in this forum can help me out. I recently went through my bins of bones and metals and dragged out all the ghouls and ghasts I could find and then painted them up. I had Reaper's 2450, 3716, a bunch of 77159, and 2102 (that one's a ghoulish looking zombie but it got painted). I also came across two blisters from the old RAFM company 3892 and 3894 and the lost minis wiki says they were sculpted by Bob Murch. They're much older in style (ie - very armature basic) in comparison to today's standards and I was curious if anyone knows the release date of these miniatures? Curious if there are any ghouls out there in mini-verse to represent the shorter races like gnomes & halflings. thanks! EDIT: Never fails.... I found one on Heresy's site. It's not a demi-human but it would probably work + they have some other minis that might fill some other rolls as well.
