  1. My progress on the mountain of bones so far. I'm most proud of the owlbear which I think is an original scheme. It's based on a barn owl. C&C welcome as always.
  2. I found him in the front yard this morning, half frozen. Apparently, he couldn't reach the doorbell. Don't know WHY he couldn't have KNOCKED... Brought him in, toweled him off, and gave him some hot coffee. He made friends with Apocalypse, the Cat in the meantime. Next time, dude, call ahead! It's not like we don't have room!
  3. Hey Everybody, I didn't see a "New people say hi here" thread, so I thought I'd feed two birds with one seed and say hi here while also showing some of the very first miniatures I've ever painted (well, as an adult). That's right. Brand new to painting here. I tried it once as a kid but I didn't know what I was doing and only really managed to massacar a few skeletons and vampires with heavy handed use of enamal paints. I should really try to find those figures some day... If only I could, and strip them down and repaint them - a story of redemption - but I digress. Where are the goblins right? well right here!; It's hard to get a good close up with my camera on my phone - but I'm really into this rock. You should probably go ahead and expect to see me pose just about all of my finished minis on it. Ah yes. Blury inability of my phone to take close up shots. Charming. This guy (with the mace) is probably turned out the best of all of them - either that, or the other mace guy. Another blury spear guy. Well at least the guys in the background look cool... right? And here is the whole scouting party. Yes, it's only half of the Goblins from dungeon attack. The other half is being painted by friend/housemate/indentured mini-painting slave, Kya. So anyway, that's that. If you've read this far, Thanks! and Hi! Please reply with your favorite painting "cheat" - You know, some trick you know that saves time, or just looks super cool. I know a little bit, but I can always know more and I really don't know anything. Also take a look at my trade thread over in the kickstarter trade thread (shameless plug, I know).
  4. Here are the basic goblins from the Dungeon Attack set
  5. This is another assortment of tabletop figures for (RPG) game play...all are quickly painted so they look good enough on the (3D) game table; they are as follows: 1 & 2. Goblin Coldriders (the goblins are old Citadel figures)...(I do not recall who made the Coldones). 3. My (3) bears...don't remember who made them. 4. A pair of Violet Shriekers...don't remember who made them. 5. Grenadier (Fantasy Lords/Monster Manuscript)...(3) figures; 1. Ghost 2. Phantom Slayer 3. Banshee
  6. Tabletop quality paintjob on some reaper (non pathfinder) goblins. Tried to be a bit extreme with the orange/yellow so they are readily readable on the table. You'd be surprised just how much goblins are thrown around during my combats.
  7. Hello, everyone. I'm new into all of this, and I've recently acquired some Pathfinder minis, more speciffically the Goblin Pyros and the other, em, the warrior (or warryor???) ones, wich are almost the same. Could someone help me chosing the right base color and the other paints before I buy them? thanks.
