  1. Vending Machine Tech (Grade C) Dave thought he'd sneak off to Deck 17 for a quick cig. Dave can rest in peace knowing the rest of his crew will be dead in 11 hours, the Hyperion mining colony slaughtered by Monday and Earth's population wiped out by July. (I cannot believe I primed, based, shaded/highlighted the parasite only to end up plastering it in Vallejo Red and B4TBG)
  2. I rarely do anything artsy to base my figures because despite reading lots of tutorials and buying lots of basing supplies and bits, I always think I'll bugger it up. But last night I decided to give it a go and I'm really happy with how it turned out. The zombie is 50253 Lucy, Zombie. I painted her wearing blue jeans, a red T-shirt, a black jacket and a pair of Converse All-Stars. Her skin is done with Army Painter Necrotic Flesh and shaded Dark Tone, then highlighted with more Necrotic Flesh mixed with Vallejo Off-White. Her eye is also in Off-White but for some reas
  3. Started on these this week, thought I'd throw them up before I went to bed. C&C always appreciated, especially on the antelope, I'm having a hard time think what I could do to improve it, but I think it was too easy to get it looking that good. Underside of the antelope is still a wip, BIGTIME, I've barely started on it. I mean the gorey sinewy muscle for the tips to make better. KDM story spoilers ahead...
  4. I believe I have posted one of these before, but I have re-based her, to match the 32mm of the others.:
  5. Finished the Muumuu Zombie. Was going to do just a oozy decomposing effect to the mini. But just kept that to the wound on the back. Decided after doing a quick scratch built base with a blood pool that she'd be standing over. That she needed to look like she'd just fed on some juicy morsel.
  6. Been a while since I posted here. Been a few slow months. Did get to play around with OSL, and plenty of gore on this one. I like gore. :D :
  7. Finished these tonight. I think I've posted the vampire before, but I based her, so that's new. Now I am just missing three dregs, and the warband is ready to play:
  8. Making a Mordheim warband mostly for fun, as I don't have any locals to play with, but maybe it can create a little wave among the local Necro players. :D So I bought these really cool minis from Heresy. Three ghouls and a necromancer. I am going to need five ghouls total, three dregs and a vampire, but first things first. I've based them and shaded, and are currently waiting for them to dry: Based bronze skin tone: Shaded with plenty of Agrax Earthshade: Could not help myself. The necromancer was pointing at something, and I added another 'finger' from the sprue remains.
  9. As I mentioned elsewhere, I've been going through some of my oldest Reaper Miniatures and finally (finally!) getting them painted. I'm pretty happy with the results (I consider my target level as "Tabletop+"), but I wouldn't mind some feedback on where I could improve. I used the old Reaper Dark Heaven rulebook for guidance on the character, and Montrig the Bloody is described as covering himself in the blood of his foes, and having an especially gore-encrusted pick. I tried to make it look like older dried blood haphazardly applied to his front, but left the back sides "clean".
