Keith is very happy that he joined the Cult of the Obsidian Otter. He's met lots of like-minded people, he's getting plenty of fresh air and all that axe-swinging is building his upper body strength. And the fact he can't get She Sells Sanctuary out of his head is just a bonus.

One of my players chose this mini to represent her D&D character, Marra Del'a'vare. Marra is a half Drow but she doesn't know it. She has pale skin, white hair, and red eyes and thinks she is albino. She magically adds colors to her hair. She used to be a thief but after things went badly, she is trying to do good and became a cleric. My players came up with quite the party for this campaign. In addition to Marra, there is a wood elf monk, a Hobbit rogue (he says halfling is a derogatory term lol) a Dragonborn paladin and a kobold sorcerer. Anyway, here is Marra! Edit-Didn't attach pictures .

Hopefully the first of many, this was an experiment in color - in this case, green. And while his wide stance was a problem at first, I made it work. Karahl Farstep: Hood and cloak are both a mix of Brilliant Green and Linen White, 3:1 for the darker areas and 1:2 everywhere else. The cloak is shadowed with purple (thanks, @Cyradis!), and I think it came out pretty nicely in front. Had to redo the back due to becoming shadow happy. For the light greens I was hoping to achieve something close to mint green, but it came out a lot more washed out and boring than hoped. So I freehanded borders around those parts with some Palomino Gold. Not daring enough to do anything fancier than that yet, but I think it makes a positive difference. Comments and critiques welcome, I’d like to know what works or doesn’t, and what to try and do better next time.

Hiyo! I started working on the second painted mini for the upcoming 2016 Secret Sophie exchange, Arthrand Nightblade from the Warlord series. He'll hopefully make a great ranger character for my mystery partner! While there are many great painted examples of him already, I wanted to paint him in something other than greens and browns. I chose a blue and cream color scheme for my main colors– the rest will be neutral browns. I'll paint lighter, worn leather (or maybe linen?) wraps around his quiver and darker browns for his boots and bow. I still haven't decided on his hair color though... More to come after the Thanksgiving holiday! I hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Thanks for taking a look

This lady is going to be a part of different skirmish game warbands. Mainly Necromunda and Mordheim. The little mushrooms/plants on the base are made of dried grape wines.

My latest foray into building a tabletop army worthy of Lothlorien (yes, I Have a slight thing for Tolkien elves, and elves in general) I went with a fairly basic look for this guy. grey cloak to blend in, blue tabard to show a bit of elven 'class' and a very simple base As always, please comment and critique. Especially if you see something you feel I should work on for the next mini.
