  1. This year the minis I manage to paint will all count towards the resolutionary challenge. As per the resolutionary painting challenge guidelines, I will post them here, and link in my post in the challenge thread. I must say that I enjoy painting the Shadows of Brimstone miniatures, even though many have soft details. Here are the remainder of the Hungry Dead, the last 7 of the 16 in the game. Hatless Cowboys, bearded prospectors and saloon ladies in their best dresses have all succumbed and become the Hungry Dead. (Which is such an evocative name, especially as other such adjectives such as "Living" "Evil" and "Walking" are taken.) You know that you don't want them to get close to you. The Hungry Dead Shadows of Brimstone: Swamps of Death game set Flying Frog Production HIPS plastic 30mm bases.
  2. This month I am at the Mountains of Minis, delving them with gusto, having done mould-line carving, scrubbing, boiling, assembling etc a large portion of the roughly 20-ish minis I got in the Bones 2 shipment. And sacrificing the required amounts of fingerblood, of course. At any rate, what few minis I actually get around to painting this month will all go into the resolutionary challenge total. As per the resolutionary painting challenge guidelines, I will post them here, and link in my post in the challenge thread. When I paint I usually end up with several blobs of unused paint left on my palette. And I hate wastage, and I like to use said paint on something instead of just throwing it out. I find that Zombies are great for this, as they can take most colours in their stride (especially as base coats), and a squad does not have to be uniform (sic!) Also mixing paints is fun and educational. It teaches you some colour theory without all the boring words. A couple more of the big unit of Space Hurps Positives. So far 33 of them are done. and last but not least, 3 Hungry Dead from Shadows of Brimstone: Swamps of Death. So thats 4 of those done altogether, twice as many left to go in the base game set. These are the worst of the SoB-minis, being quite soft in the details. But they do their job as low level zombie threats.
