So I really like board games with cool minis. Two of the board games that I’ve spent the most time playing are Kingdom Death: Monster and Super Dungeon Explore! Both are great games with fantastic minis- although the tones each use could hardly be farther apart. The developers of these games know each other, and When both games went to Kickstarter, they took the opportunity to do a cool cross over. So means that we got a really cute chibi of the Twilight Knight. She makes a great mini, and I’d have been happy to leave it off there, but the fluff on her card implies that if those super cute Super Dungeon characters go into the Nether Rift in their seting, they end up in the brutal and bloody hell world of Kingdom Death. So I got to thinking about this, and decided that I really needed to expand on this idea of the cute little chibis on the Planes of Faces. Yes, these are all playable, and I'm going to continue to create Chibi versions of Kingdom Death monsters.

Picked these up in a kickstarter from Impact miniatures a while ago and promptly forgot about them. Dug them out over the weekend and decided to give them a quick paint job. I've never played any Warhammer, so I've only got a vague idea of how these fit into the game. But they're pretty fun looking and I'm fairly certain I can fit them into a game somewhere.

About this project Sacred Sword is the world that our chibi miniature line belongs to. While the game and the world are not present in this project, it dictates our overall theme and feel. The Sacred Sword line will be a high fantasy world, with a distinctly classic RPG feel. Modeled heavily after your favorite classic JRPG games but with a lot of added character and flair. We hope to provide a compelling universe for both your favorite RPG engine or other games that you want to use these for. The Sacred Sword miniature line is a Chibi 32mm miniature line. These are cast in spincast resin and unpainted. We've teamed up with the great crew at Impact Miniatures to produce the best figures at an excellent price and to utilize their vast experience and improve our project as much as possible! I've had a look at a lot of their newest figures and the casting and such are tops! We'll be carefully working with them to ensure every figure is cut well and casts as cleanly as possible Your funding provides AdventureCraft the needed capital to finish more concept art, sculpting and then casting of an entirely new range of miniatures. We're starting small, with just a few figures. As we reach more funding goals, we'll add new models from you to pick from. And step by step, your feedback and requests will be heard and implemented to create a colorful world. We've already got the first two sculpts finished and ready to go! The Useko Warrior and Forest Goblin are here to show off the quality of the sculpts you can look forward to when you back this project.

Here's my Blindwater blood bowl team (lizardmen- although I think they might be getting a more angelic title soon anyway). I had posted some of these before, but I never got around to posting the finished team. So, here they are:

I got this little Chibi Magician mini from Impact! and decided that he would make a great Harry Potter. So, I went with that. He'd look great with the Arcadia Quest set of Potter villains.

Here is a pig from Impact! miniatures chibi lineup. I don't know that he belongs in anyone's game, but he was definitely fun to paint.
