  1. This is a 3D printed adventuring Knight that I pulled from a Box of Goodwill a while back. I had wanted to try something a little different with his armor; it didn't work out the way I wanted, but I liked the effect I got so I went with it. I realized as I was finishing up that his cloak would have been an excellent place to try some freehand, but I was almost done and didn't want to risk goofing it up, so I chickened out. Maybe next time.
  2. And another one up on the table. I'm working with some other minis also (Fallout Wasteland) for a Gamma World campaign, but I always have a Reaper in the wings! The white is not cooperating. Must fix.
  3. Hello All, Here is a 02853 Dark Heaven Legends "Sir Barlow, Templar - Human Paladin" I recently completed. Thank you for looking.
  4. A couple of quick paint jobs done to get these guys ready for the table. The wizard may have been a Reapercon speed paint re-paint. They way they ended up posed facing each other makes me think they're saying "Have a good weekend, see ya back in the dungeon on Monday."
  5. Hello All, Here is a 03392 metal Dark Heaven Legends "Sir Bruce, Adventuring Hero Knight" I completed last week. Thank you for looking.
  6. Hello All, Here is a 02370 metal Dark Heaven Legends "Luther Baldwin, Templar Knight" I completed yesterday. Thank you for looking.
  7. A long time ago, I painted up a model of Barros & Tempest (DHL #3096). Unfortunately, this is now one of my missing minis. It is located somewhere in my parent's place, but where exactly, no one knows... All that I have left are these pictures from an old computer. But I really like this model, so I ordered a new one and painted it up with a different rider and a horse of a different colour. Their barding matches, just incase the original is ever found. Here is the missing Barros & Tempest. Please forgive the bad photography skills, I took these photos on a freezer with a piece of paper behind them in place of a real box. I used a pin and green attach Tempest (I'm assuming that is the name of the Pegasus) to the stand. It didn't hold up well, and it looks like they are coming in for a landing or to smite someone. And here is my new version of Barros & Tempest. This model is hard to photograph because there are so many cool sculpted features going all the way around the model. I love the movement of these sculptures. They work really well together.
  8. Halloween Knight from Bones 5. Putting him in the theme category at my local IPMS show. Monsters and Machines, the obvious and machines with monster names like a C-130 “Specter” gunship. Pretty sure this fits.
  9. I tried this techinque for a second time, I know I'm still not very good at it but I am happy with the result. 🙂 Any constructive criticism or tips are very welcome! 😃 Thanks for looking! 😄
  10. Back on my PC I can upload the final shot of the mounted knight Lucardus von Kemet. Because he is a famous character in the world of The Dark Eye, I put a sign on his base to give his name clearly to everyone. As a leader of the Undead and user of dark powers I gave him a look similiar to his underlings. He is a desperate man who wields war in the name of his demonic mistress. Painting process is in the wip forum.
  11. This is the mounted knight Lucardus von Kemet. Back in the 90s a product of FanPro and nowadays casted by Ral Partha. My Kids used this model a lot, so I decided to Paint this next. His Mount seemed to be a little small and didnt fit to a grandmaster of a Order of knights. So I Made a Base which should impose a little Hill on the battlefield.
  12. Presenting Tirinha Fallowheart, a Dreadmere faction mini made by Reaper. Didn't put much effort into this one, it's a nice mini but I think mine is a bit miscast (her details are a little soft and mushy in places). As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  13. I just wanted to share a Medieval Knight I painted off of MMF. It was my first bust painted and 3D printed. I learned a lot from this bust. I also tried a new technique by priming pink and doing a zenithal highlight in white ink and shadows with dark pink ink. Then going over with yellow ink to finish it off. I hope you all enjoy as much as I did painting it.
  14. The third and final big box from Batman: Gotham City Chronicles is full of Batmen from various countries. Apparently Bruce Wane decided to franchise superheroing like a McDonalds. The crew, part 1 - Dark Ranger is the Australian "Batman". He dresses in white, uses guns and flies around on a jetpack. Just like Batman...yeah I don't get it. Knight, Batman of England. Chief Man-of-Bats, of the Dakota territories. I tried to get his eyes white but it never looked good, so I wound up going black. Raven Red, the Chief's son and sidekick. His eyes came out much better than his dad's.
  15. I was trying to use rose gold, with new gold as the highlights.
  16. Finished this just before christmas. I'm rather happy with the way it came out. The blending is probably the best I've ever done, and I used true metallic shading on all the armor. I hope my Secret Sophie partner enjoys it as well.
  17. I painted the skeleton knight from my October order.
  18. Here's Gregor Clegane and his bannerman! (click on images for better quality)
  19. Painted the Kingslayer! Fun cloak to highlight! (click on images for better quality)
  20. I am about halfway there with an ID for this fellow. I think it says on the bottom: Ral 84 Partha It is hard to read though. I found this fellow lurking amongst some Bretonnians earlier this morning.
  21. This model is a Dark Sword Miniatures masterpiece of a sculpt by Jeff Grace. Never before have I seen so many tiny etchings on plate armor, especially on a figure that is barely 1.6 inches high. I feel a bit let down by my red OSL, but then again, this was only my second real attempt at the process, which is surely one I need to practice more.
  22. The Cleric in my D&D group leveled up and acquired the Spiritual Guardian skill. He needed a model to represent his Guardian. Honaire looks so cool, but he didn't have a shield. I found one in my bits box, and painted the symbol of his chosen Deity, Chauntea. I loved painting this because the simple palette left more room to just relax and enjoy the work.
  23. Some guy from the Kickstarter project. Cast in plastic, some of the detail was really sharp, some was not. The face was weird, I could not figure out if he was supposed to have a mustache or not. Good enough for tabletop play.
  24. This is Tiriel from Hasslefree Miniatures that I painted in TMM. She was a much needed fun figure to help keep my motivation going as I work on other larger projects as I tend to loose focus if I work on something too long with out finishing.
