  1. Woo! So, I finally got a camera, and I thought I'd upload some of my painted minis~ I'm gonna upload them in the order I did them, so I'll do the "Unicorn" first! Now, all of my mini's are painted in Marie's Artist's Acrylics - I get mine for 5$/box at Ocean State Job Lot. My paint brushes are these - they're cheap, they're tiny, and they move paint from the palette to the mini, which is all I really ask for in a brush. They last okay; I need to order new ones, and even 15 brushes don't last long, so I usually order 2-3 sets at a time - with free shipping, spending 5 or 6 dollars i
  2. Have some more painted bones to share. To start off, here are some Kobolds of the tribe of Bron... I may get another set and paint them in black and silver as Kobold Raiders... I also painted up the Pathfinder Wizard Ezren with a non-canon color scheme: I'm pretty proud of the Earth Elemental I did. I painted the skeleton in his shoulder like a fossil instead of as fresh bones: And my most recent is the Marsh Troll, which I did a WIP of if you're interested: Comments and criticism appreciated.
  3. I have two empty spots in the PBP I'm currently running. Right now the adventure hook is winding down, and things are about to get going. Please let me know if you have any interest. Looking for people who will be ok with posting once a week.
  4. I actually painted them about a year ago. Figured I should share me WiP pics. These three were painted with reaper rust paint. I found the coverage to be much better than with the GW paints! If reaper really expands their selection I'm going to have to shift my paints collection away from GW paints to reaper paints. Now, I don't have any of the foundation paints, so I'm not sure how well those would work. The other 3 were primed with GW black primer. However, I found that painting the unprimed minis with the reaper paints was a much more pleasant experience! I was shocked, but pl
  5. When I received my Bones Pledge I wouldn't ever tell that Kobolds would be my first choice for painting. The fact is I'm proxying the Descent 1st Edition miniatures into 2nd Edition and the number, size and aspect of these Kobolds were perfect. The original Descent Kobolds are funny and I like the idea of more than one per base, but I really have another vision about Kobolds. They are the sons of a lesser God. They have dragon blood, but no power. So they are inventive and organized. And they are legion. I couldn't find an unpainted image of the original so here it goes a painted one.
  6. These kobolds were speed painted (no more than 20 minutes per figure) and turned out ok for game table use. There is nothing fancy about them, its all about the practicality of getting 12 minis painted as quickly as possible.
