Generally not impressed, likely to be my only purchasesin this line. Not close to terrain in quality. Edgerunners set G ( missing right arm for exec 3, waiting to hear back from MFC) Edgerunners F primed, media glued Rockerboys Guitarist leg broken in pack, waiting to hear back. Looks too small to pin for me and won't glue on its own Keytarist primed manager glued

I decided to build some shelf organizers because real ones are $$$$ expensive. Hopefully getting stuff out of the way will allow for things to be out of the way of little grasping hands. Pics later. This one is for my terrain boards

So I'm finally getting to the terrain for my graveyard set. I've washed the crypt and the fences. I got an extra set of fences, and I think I'm missing 1 short fence, because I have 5 of those, and everything else is even in number (doubled). Can anyone else who got both during Bones 3 confirm if they had 5 or 6? Here's stuff having a soak. Somewhere I have my Bones 4 toppers, but I'm not going to worry about that right now. I'm debating putting stuff on large tongue depressors and making stuff modular... though that would leave some gaps if I make a fence around something specific, as opposed to a representative "fence." Anybody try it and abandon?

I had waaaaay too much brown craft paint/ modgepodge so I rushed into doing some terrain tiles. I had some dollar store wood tiles that I sealed with the leftover paint mix, I think about 2.5x5 inches each. Then I cannibalized an old build ( trollskull manor, because it got squished) and I goued pieces down. Those weren't so nice with door and window cuts but were what I had handy. Then I let stuff dry 24 hours I beveled and trimmed the edges like Here's all 5 tiles And then I spackled them. I'll leave the tiles overnight, but they'll be dry to paint in an hour or so. After that fully seal the foam core. Then drybrush the bank and do some shadings the river bed.thrn I tape it all up and get ready for my test pour of pouring medium + ink. Shallow pour so it'll dry.

I did this quickly tonight while getting garbage ready to go out tomorrow. One side of the spit came undone and needs to bebgkued. There's a tab so it is steady. Thr big fire under the rabbit popped off the wood, allowing me to use inks on thr clear plastic. It fits snug.

I decided because I have a bunch of grass boards, that I should do some backdrops for nice dioramas and maybe just regular photos. So I primed (mostly matte medium which I have liters of and a little primer and a tiny bit of craft paint for volume) some of my many cereal boxes. Should I do anything more than sky and land/horizon? Tree silhouettes maybe? Got any good examples

I've been wanting a few quick space saving buildings for war gaming. I decided to make a few false fronts, but use a simplified biscuit (instead of a tab like many paper models) to make them free standing. Rolling out the brick pattern would help. These would be for my foam boards (insert link here sometime). But it turns out my plan of 3 row buildings (8.25x 6 )with separate corner pieces isn't going to fit. Need to decide whether to split up into 2 building pieces (5.5 in long x 6 in high) or do corner and 1 building and have them connect. I also now need figure out whether to plan for an alley when I didn't in my boards. Hmm. Stay tuned.

I few years ago I emptied a can of spray foam for some hills. I decided to hack up one to see if I could do some scatter that was more rock pile than grassy hill like I've previously done (insert link to foam experiments thread). About a month ago I hacked the foam hill, and last night I glued it to a dead DVD as a base and clamped it. This is what it looks like now. I'm going to let it dry a bit more then give it some goop, then a modge seal. Then drybrush, and maybe some flock.

My 3rd encounter in the last month and I'll need to slow down a bit. Main Bones 5 WIP Specific WIP The spiders were influenced by real spider types. The big black one was painted like the little red and blue one, Opadometa sarawakensis, but it was too distracting, so the color is on the underside. See p7 of WIP for more. The blue fuzzies ( Poecilotheria metallica) are tarantulas - adult and juvenile, so the small one is intentionally less bright. More pics later

The toddler insisted on me removing the plastic piece from the puzzle game Blokus(tetris meets scrabble kinda) because it looked like game pieces left in the box. Nope, just a fancy display that made it hard to store/remove the game. I added some craft sticks to hint at my idea for a water park... No timeline

This is a storage box/ terrain house I'm building for my kid's High Rollers set (which was found today and played with all without the knowledge it was a gift). Will have removable roof maybe with shingles. Currently just have walls and door. The extra cardboard from the door will disappear.

I decided to do the Mystic Circle so I could do all kinds of occult and folk horror scenarios. Currently "cooking" in the utility sink. The base parts were pretty warped. I may glue them to some foamcore for a little extra stability, but mostly traced, because I need to keep them " modular" for storage (the arches, I think they still qualify as dolmens, but I forget, will get pulled on and off. Unless it really doesn't work ). This will likely be an all June project, because I had an unexpected computer death and porch reno and need to deal with that.

My kid loves stealing my dice. So I'm painting some High Rollers as a bday gift later this summer. Kid is not old enough to paint with a brush yet. Day 1 was saturday - priming and base coats on the bases and D'Tenian. Maybe my first painting this year?

i stumbled across this neat article on social media. It seems doable enough - balsa, hydrogen peroxide +sun light, and marine epoxy? Not huge application, but I suppose it would allow glass skyscrapers, greenhouses, and... mostly windows? Will post if I try. Please share if you try.

WIP is here.First 3 pages include lighthouse. Mobile site has been a pain, so I'll add comments later. This was meant to be modular for storage.

So I salvaged this bit of 16×20 particle board from a broken picture frame. I'll be using some of my foam core to make a city square/crossroads board with my foam rollers. Something for city games that isn't too time consuming, but is also good for a wide spread of genres with the proper buildings and scatter The tough part will be steaming off the paper and cutting down the various bits for rolling.
